¹Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

¹ Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Am dri o droseddau Moab, ac am bedwar, ni throf y gosb yn �l; am iddo losgi'n galch esgyrn brenin Edom,

²but I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

² anfonaf d�n ar Moab, ac fe ddifa geyrydd Cerioth. Bydd farw Moab yng nghanol terfysg, yng nghanol banllefau a su373?n utgorn.

³and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.

³ Torraf ymaith y pennaeth o'i chanol, a lladdaf ei holl swyddogion gydag ef," medd yr ARGLWYDD.

⁴Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk:

⁴ Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Am dri o droseddau Jwda, ac am bedwar, ni throf y gosb yn �l; am iddynt wrthod cyfraith yr ARGLWYDD, a pheidio � chadw ei ddeddfau, a'u denu ar gyfeiliorn gan y celwyddau a ddilynwyd gan eu hynafiaid,

⁵but I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

⁵ anfonaf d�n ar Jwda, ac fe ddifa geyrydd Jerwsalem."

⁶Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes-

⁶ Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Am dri o droseddau Israel, ac am bedwar, ni throf y gosb yn �l; am iddynt werthu'r cyfiawn am arian a'r anghenog am b�r o sandalau;

⁷they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the [same] maiden, to profane my holy name:

⁷ am eu bod yn sathru pen y tlawd i'r llwch ac yn ystumio ffordd y gorthrymedig; am fod dyn a'i dad yn mynd at yr un llances, fel bod halogi ar fy enw sanctaidd;

⁸and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.

⁸ am eu bod yn gorwedd ar ddillad gwystl yn ymyl pob allor; am eu bod yn yfed gwin y ddirwy yn nhu375? eu Duw.

⁹Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

⁹ "Eto, myfi a ddinistriodd yr Amoriad o'u blaenau, a'i uchder fel uchder cedrwydd a'i gryfder fel y derw; dinistriais ei ffrwyth oddi arno a'i wreiddiau oddi tano.

¹⁰Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

¹⁰ Myfi hefyd a'ch dygodd o'r Aifft, a'ch arwain am ddeugain mlynedd yn yr anialwch, i feddiannu gwlad yr Amoriad.

¹¹And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.

¹¹ Codais rai o'ch meibion yn broffwydi, a rhai o'ch llanciau yn Nasareaid. Onid fel hyn y bu, bobl Israel?" medd yr ARGLWYDD.

¹²But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

¹² "Ond gwnaethoch i'r Nasareaid yfed gwin, a rhoesoch orchymyn i'r proffwydi, 'Peidiwch � phroffwydo.'

¹³Behold, I will press [you] in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves.

¹³ "Wele, yr wyf am eich gwasgu i lawr, fel y mae trol lawn ysgubau yn gwasgu.

¹⁴And flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself;

¹⁴ Derfydd am ddihangfa i'r cyflym, ac ni ddeil y cryf yn ei gryfder, ac ni all y rhyfelwr ei waredu ei hun;

¹⁵neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver [himself]; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself;

¹⁵ ni saif y saethwr bwa; ni all y cyflym ei droed ei achub ei hun, na'r marchog ei waredu ei hun;

¹⁶and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.

¹⁶ bydd y dewraf ei galon o'r rhyfelwyr yn ffoi yn noeth yn y dydd hwnnw," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
