¹Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye peoples: let the earth hear, and the fulness thereof; the world, and all things that come forth from it.

¹ Nesewch i wrando, chwi genhedloedd; clywch, chwi bobloedd. Gwrandawed y ddaear a'i llawnder, y byd a'i holl gynnyrch.

²For Jehovah hath indignation against all the nations, and wrath against all their host: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

² Canys y mae dicter yr ARGLWYDD yn erbyn yr holl bobl, a'i lid ar eu holl luoedd; difroda hwy a'u rhoi i'w lladd.

³Their slain also shall be cast out, and the stench of their dead bodies shall come up; and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

³ Bwrir allan eu lladdedigion, cyfyd drewdod o'u celanedd, a throchir y mynyddoedd �'u gwaed.

⁴And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as the leaf fadeth from off the vine, and as a fading [leaf] from the fig-tree.

⁴ Malurir holl lu'r nefoedd, plygir yr wybren fel sgr�l, a chwymp ei holl lu, fel cwympo dail oddi ar winwydden a ffrwyth aeddfed oddi ar ffigysbren.

⁵For my sword hath drunk its fill in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Edom, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

⁵ Canys ymddengys cleddyf yr ARGLWYDD yn y nef; wele, fe ddisgyn ar Edom, ar y bobl a ddedfryda i farn.

⁶The sword of Jehovah is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for Jehovah hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

⁶ Y mae gan yr ARGLWYDD gleddyf wedi ei drochi mewn gwaed a'i besgi ar fraster, ar waed u373?yn a bychod a braster arennau hyrddod. Y mae gan yr ARGLWYDD aberth yn Bosra, a lladdfa fawr yn nhir Edom.

⁷And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls: and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

⁷ Daw ychen gwyllt i lawr gyda hwy, a bustych gyda theirw; mwydir eu tir gan waed, a bydd eu pridd yn doreithiog gan y braster.

⁸For Jehovah hath a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

⁸ Canys y mae gan yr ARGLWYDD ddydd dial, a chan amddiffynnydd Seion flwyddyn talu'r pwyth.

⁹And the streams of [Edom] shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

⁹ Troir afonydd Edom yn byg, a'i phridd yn frwmstan; bydd ei gwlad yn byg yn llosgi;

¹⁰It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

¹⁰ nis diffoddir na nos na dydd, a bydd ei mwg yn esgyn am byth. O genhedlaeth i genhedlaeth bydd yn ddiffaith, ac ni fydd neb yn ei thramwyo byth eto.

¹¹But the pelican and the porcupine shall possess it; and the owl and the raven shall dwell therein: and he will stretch over it the line of confusion, and the plummet of emptiness.

¹¹ Fe'i meddiennir gan y pelican ac aderyn y bwn, a bydd y dylluan wen a'r gigfran yn trigo yno; bydd ef yn estyn drosti linyn anhrefn, a phlymen tryblith dros ei dewrion.

¹²They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there; and all its princes shall be nothing.

¹² Fe'i gelwir yn lle heb deyrn, a bydd ei holl dywysogion yn ddiddim.

¹³And thorns shall come up in its palaces, nettles and thistles in the fortresses thereof; and it shall be a habitation of jackals, a court for ostriches.

¹³ Bydd drain yn tyfu yn ei phalasau, danadl ac ysgall o fewn ei cheyrydd; bydd yn drigfan i fleiddiaid, yn gyrchfan i estrys.

¹⁴And the wild beasts of the desert shall meet with the wolves, and the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; yea, the night-monster shall settle there, and shall find her a place of rest.

¹⁴ Bydd yr anifeiliaid gwyllt a'r siacal yn cydgrynhoi, a'r bwch-gafr yn galw ar ei gymar; yno hefyd y clwyda'r fr�n nos ac y daw o hyd i'w gorffwysfa.

¹⁵There shall the dart-snake make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shade; yea, there shall the kites be gathered, every one with her mate.

¹⁵ Yno y nytha'r dylluan, a dodwy ei hwyau a'u deor, a chasglu ei chywion dan ei hadain; yno hefyd y bydd y barcutiaid yn ymgasglu, pob un gyda'i gymar.

¹⁶Seek ye out of the book of Jehovah, and read: no one of these shall be missing, none shall want her mate; for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his Spirit, it hath gathered them.

¹⁶ Chwiliwch yn llyfr yr ARGLWYDD, darllenwch ef; ni chollir dim un o'r rhain, ni fydd un ohonynt heb ei gymar; canys genau'r ARGLWYDD a orchmynnodd, a'i ysbryd ef a'u casglodd ynghyd.

¹⁷And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever; from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.

¹⁷ Ef hefyd a drefnodd eu cyfran, a'i law a rannodd iddynt � llinyn mesur; c�nt ei meddiannu hyd byth, a phreswylio ynddi o genhedlaeth i genhedlaeth.
