²Blessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.

² Bendigedig fyddo enw'r ARGLWYDD o hyn allan a hyd byth.

³From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

³ O godiad haul hyd ei fachlud bydded enw'r ARGLWYDD yn foliannus.

⁴Jehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

⁴ Uchel yw'r ARGLWYDD goruwch yr holl genhedloedd, a'i ogoniant goruwch y nefoedd.

⁵Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

⁵ Pwy sydd fel yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw yn y nefoedd neu ar y ddaear,

⁶That humbleth himself to behold [The things that are] in heaven and in the earth?

⁶ yn gosod ei orseddfainc yn uchel a hefyd yn ymostwng i edrych yn isel?

⁷He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

⁷ Y mae ef yn codi'r gwan o'r llwch ac yn dyrchafu'r anghenus o'r domen,

⁸That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

⁸ i'w gosod gyda phendefigion, gyda phendefigion ei bobl.

⁹He maketh the barren woman to keep house, [And to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.
