1For the Chief Musician; set to Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves. My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: ar Lilau. I feibion Cora. Mascl. Cn Serch.0 Symbylwyd fy nghalon gan neges dda; adroddaf fy nghn am y brenin; y mae fy nhafod fel pin ysgrifennydd buan.
2Thou art fairer than the children of men; Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
2 Yr wyt yn decach na phawb; tywalltwyd gras ar dy wefusau am i Dduw dy fendithio am byth.
3Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.
3 Gwisg dy gleddyf ar dy glun, O ryfelwr; mawredd a gogoniant addurna dy forddwyd.
4And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
4 Marchoga o blaid gwirionedd, ac o achos cyfiawnder, a bydded i'th ddeheulaw ddysgu iti bethau ofnadwy.
5Thine arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under thee; [They are] in the heart of the king's enemies.
5 Y mae dy saethau'n llym yng nghalon gelynion y brenin; syrth pobloedd odanat.
6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
6 Y mae dy orsedd fel gorsedd Duw, yn dragwyddol, a'th deyrnwialen yn wialen cyfiawnder.
7Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness: Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
7 Ceraist gyfiawnder a chasu drygioni; am hynny bu i Dduw, dy Dduw di, dy eneinio ag olew llawenydd uwchlaw dy gyfoedion.
8All thy garments [smell of] myrrh, and aloes, [and] cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.
8 Y mae dy ddillad i gyd yn fyrr, aloes a chasia, ac offerynnau llinynnol o balasau ifori yn dy ddifyrru.
9Kings' daughters are among thy honorable women: At thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
9 Y mae tywysogesau ymhlith merched dy lys; saif y frenhines ar dy ddeheulaw, mewn aur Offir.
10Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father's house:
10 Gwrando di, ferch, rho sylw a gogwydda dy glust: anghofia dy bobl dy hun a thu375? dy dad;
11So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.
11 yna bydd y brenin yn chwenychu dy brydferthwch, oherwydd ef yw dy arglwydd.
12And the daughter of Tyre [shall be there] with a gift; The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.
12 Ymostwng iddo ag anrhegion, O ferch Tyrus, a bydd cyfoethogion y bobl yn ceisio dy ffafr.
13The king's daughter within [the palace] is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.
13 Cwbl ogoneddus yw merch y brenin, cwrel wedi ei osod mewn aur sydd ar ei gwisg,
14She shall be led unto the king in broidered work: The virgins her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee.
14 ac mewn brodwaith yr arweinir hi at y brenin; Ar ei hl daw ei chyfeillesau, y morynion;
15With gladness and rejoicing shall they be led: They shall enter into the king's palace.
15 dnt atat yn llawen a hapus, dnt i mewn i balas y brenin.
16Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.
16 Yn lle dy dadau daw dy feibion, a gwnei hwy'n dywysogion dros yr holl ddaear.
17I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: Therefore shall the peoples give thee thanks for ever and ever.
17 Mynegaf dy glod dros y cenedlaethau, nes bod pobl yn dy ganmol hyd byth.
