1Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer. I cry with my voice unto Jehovah; With my voice unto Jehovah do I make supplication.
1Instruo de David, kiam li estis en la kaverno. Pregxo. Per mia vocxo mi krias al la Eternulo, Per mia vocxo mi pregxas al la Eternulo.
2I pour out my complaint before him; I show before him my trouble.
2Mi elversxas antaux Li mian peton, Mian suferon mi al Li rakontas.
3When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk Have they hidden a snare for me.
3Kiam senfortigxis en mi mia spirito, tiam Vi sciis mian vojon: Sur la vojo, kiun mi iras, ili kasxis reton por mi.
4Look on [my] right hand, and see; For there is no man that knoweth me: Refuge hath failed me; No man careth for my soul.
4Rigardu dekstren kaj vidu:neniu volas min koni; Malaperis rifugxejo por mi, neniu zorgas pri mia animo.
5I cried unto thee, O Jehovah; I said, Thou art my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.
5Mi krias al Vi, ho Eternulo; Mi diras:Vi estas mia rifugxejo, Mia parto en la lando de la vivantoj.
6Attend unto my cry; For I am brought very low: Deliver me from my persecutors; For they are stronger than I.
6Atentu mian ploron, cxar mi tre senfortigxis; Savu min de miaj persekutantoj, cxar ili estas pli fortaj ol mi.
7Bring my soul out of prison, That I may give thanks unto thy name: The righteous shall compass me about; For thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
7Eligu mian animon el malliberejo, por ke mi gloru Vian nomon. Min cxirkauxos la virtuloj, kiam Vi bonfaros al mi.
