1So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel: and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their transgression.
1Tout Israël est enregistré dans les généalogies et inscrit dans le livre des rois d'Israël. Et Juda fut emmené captif à Babylone, à cause de ses infidélités.
1וכל ישראל התיחשו והנם כתובים על ספר מלכי ישראל ויהודה הגלו לבבל במעלם׃
2Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
2Les premiers habitants qui demeuraient dans leurs possessions, dans leurs villes, étaient les Israélites, les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, et les Néthiniens.
2והיושבים הראשנים אשר באחזתם בעריהם ישראל הכהנים הלוים והנתינים׃
3And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh:
3A Jérusalem habitaient des fils de Juda, des fils de Benjamin, et des fils d'Ephraïm et de Manassé. -
3ובירושלם ישבו מן בני יהודה ומן בני בנימן ומן בני אפרים ומנשה׃
4Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
4Des fils de Pérets, fils de Juda: Uthaï, fils d'Ammihud, fils d'Omri, fils d'Imri, fils de Bani.
4עותי בן עמיהוד בן עמרי בן אמרי בן בנימן בני פרץ בן יהודה׃
5And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the first-born, and his sons.
5Des Schilonites: Asaja, le premier-né, et ses fils.
5ומן השילוני עשיה הבכור ובניו׃
6And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
6Des fils de Zérach: Jeuel, et ses frères, six cent quatre-vingt-dix. -
6ומן בני זרח יעואל ואחיהם שש מאות ותשעים׃
7And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah,
7Des fils de Benjamin: Sallu, fils de Meschullam, fils d'Hodavia, fils d'Assenua;
7ומן בני בנימן סלוא בן משלם בן הודויה בן הסנאה׃
8and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
8Jibneja, fils de Jerocham; Ela, fils d'Uzzi, fils de Micri; Meschullam, fils de Schephathia, fils de Reuel, fils de Jibnija;
8ויבניה בן ירחם ואלה בן עזי בן מכרי ומשלם בן שפטיה בן רעואל בן יבניה׃
9and their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were heads of fathers' [houses] by their fathers' houses.
9et leurs frères, selon leurs générations, neuf cent cinquante-six. Tous ces hommes étaient chefs de famille dans les maisons de leurs pères.
9ואחיהם לתלדותם תשע מאות וחמשים וששה כל אלה אנשים ראשי אבות לבית אבתיהם׃
10And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, Jachin,
10Des sacrificateurs: Jedaeja; Jehojarib; Jakin;
10ומן הכהנים ידעיה ויהויריב ויכין׃
11and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
11Azaria, fils de Hilkija, fils de Meschullam, fils de Tsadok, fils de Merajoth, fils d'Achithub, prince de la maison de Dieu;
11ועזריה בן חלקיה בן משלם בן צדוק בן מריות בן אחיטוב נגיד בית האלהים׃
12and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
12Adaja, fils de Jerocham, fils de Paschhur, fils de Malkija; Maesaï, fils d'Adiel, fils de Jachzéra, fils de Meschullam, fils de Meschillémith, fils d'Immer;
12ועדיה בן ירחם בן פשחור בן מלכיה ומעשי בן עדיאל בן יחזרה בן משלם בן משלמית בן אמר׃
13and their brethren, heads of their fathers' houses, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
13et leurs frères, chefs des maisons de leurs pères, mille sept cent soixante, hommes vaillants, occupés au service de la maison de Dieu.
13ואחיהם ראשים לבית אבותם אלף ושבע מאות וששים גבורי חיל מלאכת עבודת בית האלהים׃
14And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
14Des Lévites: Schemaeja, fils de Haschub, fils d'Azrikam, fils de Haschabia, des fils de Merari;
14ומן הלוים שמעיה בן חשוב בן עזריקם בן חשביה מן בני מררי׃
15and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,
15Bakbakkar; Héresch; Galal; Matthania, fils de Michée, fils de Zicri, fils d'Asaph;
15ובקבקר חרש וגלל ומתניה בן מיכא בן זכרי בן אסף׃
16and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
16Abdias, fils de Schemaeja, fils de Galal, fils de Jeduthun; Bérékia, fils d'Asa, fils d'Elkana, qui habitait dans les villages des Nethophathiens.
16ועבדיה בן שמעיה בן גלל בן ידותון וברכיה בן אסא בן אלקנה היושב בחצרי נטופתי׃
17And the porters: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren (Shallum was the chief),
17Et les portiers: Schallum, Akkub, Thalmon, Achiman, et leurs frères; Schallum était le chef,
17והשערים שלום ועקוב וטלמן ואחימן ואחיהם שלום הראש׃
18who hitherto [waited] in the king's gate eastward: they were the porters for the camp of the children of Levi.
18et jusqu'à présent il est à la porte du roi, à l'orient. Ce sont là les portiers pour le camp des fils de Lévi.
18ועד הנה בשער המלך מזרחה המה השערים למחנות בני לוי׃
19And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of Jehovah, keepers of the entry.
19Schallum, fils de Koré, fils d'Ebiasaph, fils de Koré, et ses frères de la maison de son père, les Koréites, remplissaient les fonctions de gardiens des seuils de la tente; leurs pères avaient gardé l'entrée du camp de l'Eternel,
19ושלום בן קורא בן אביסף בן קרח ואחיו לבית אביו הקרחים על מלאכת העבודה שמרי הספים לאהל ואבתיהם על מחנה יהוה שמרי המבוא׃
20And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, [and] Jehovah was with him.
20et Phinées, fils d'Eléazar, avait été autrefois leur chef, et l'Eternel était avec lui.
20ופינחס בן אלעזר נגיד היה עליהם לפנים יהוה עמו׃
21Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tent of meeting.
21Zacharie, fils de Meschélémia, était portier à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.
21זכריה בן משלמיה שער פתח לאהל מועד׃
22All these that were chosen to be porters in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their office of trust.
22Ils étaient en tout deux cent douze, choisis pour portiers des seuils, et enregistrés dans les généalogies d'après leurs villages; David et Samuel le voyant les avaient établis dans leurs fonctions.
22כלם הברורים לשערים בספים מאתים ושנים עשר המה בחצריהם התיחשם המה יסד דויד ושמואל הראה באמונתם׃
23So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of Jehovah, even the house of the tent, by wards.
23Eux et leurs enfants gardaient les portes de la maison de l'Eternel, de la maison de la tente.
23והם ובניהם על השערים לבית יהוה לבית האהל למשמרות׃
24On the four sides were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
24Il y avait des portiers aux quatre vents, à l'orient, à l'occident, au nord et au midi.
24לארבע רוחות יהיו השערים מזרח ימה צפונה ונגבה׃
25And their brethren, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:
25Leurs frères, qui demeuraient dans leurs villages, devaient de temps à autre venir auprès d'eux pendant sept jours.
25ואחיהם בחצריהם לבוא לשבעת הימים מעת אל עת עם אלה׃
26for the four chief porters, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
26Car ces quatre chefs des portiers, ces Lévites, étaient toujours en fonctions, et ils avaient encore la surveillance des chambres et des trésors de la maison de Dieu;
26כי באמונה המה ארבעת גברי השערים הם הלוים והיו על הלשכות ועל האצרות בית האלהים׃
27And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge [thereof] was upon them; and to them pertained the opening thereof morning by morning.
27ils passaient la nuit autour de la maison de Dieu, dont ils avaient la garde, et qu'ils devaient ouvrir chaque matin.
27וסביבות בית האלהים ילינו כי עליהם משמרת והם על המפתח ולבקר לבקר׃
28And certain of them had charge of the vessels of service; for by count were these brought in and by count were these taken out.
28Quelques-uns des Lévites prenaient soin des ustensiles du service, qu'ils rentraient en les comptant et sortaient en les comptant.
28ומהם על כלי העבודה כי במספר יביאום ובמספר יוציאום׃
29Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
29D'autres veillaient sur les ustensiles, sur tous les ustensiles du sanctuaire, et sur la fleur de farine, le vin, l'huile, l'encens et les aromates.
29ומהם ממנים על הכלים ועל כל כלי הקדש ועל הסלת והיין והשמן והלבונה והבשמים׃
30And some of the sons of the priests prepared the confection of the spices.
30C'étaient des fils de sacrificateurs qui composaient les parfums aromatiques.
30ומן בני הכהנים רקחי המרקחת לבשמים׃
31And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the first-born of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
31Matthithia, l'un des Lévites, premier-né de Schallum le Koréite, s'occupait des gâteaux cuits sur la plaque.
31ומתתיה מן הלוים הוא הבכור לשלם הקרחי באמונה על מעשה החבתים׃
32And some of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the showbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
32Et quelques-uns de leurs frères, parmi les Kehathites, étaient chargés de préparer pour chaque sabbat les pains de proposition.
32ומן בני הקהתי מן אחיהם על לחם המערכת להכין שבת שבת׃
33And these are the singers, heads of fathers' [houses] of the Levites, [who dwelt] in the chambers [and were] free [from other service]; for they were employed in their work day and night.
33Ce sont là les chantres, chefs de famille des Lévites, demeurant dans les chambres, exempts des autres fonctions parce qu'ils étaient à l'oeuvre jour et nuit.
33ואלה המשררים ראשי אבות ללוים בלשכת פטירים כי יומם ולילה עליהם במלאכה׃
34These were heads of fathers' [houses] of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these dwelt at Jerusalem.
34Ce sont là les chefs de famille des Lévites, chefs selon leurs générations. Ils habitaient à Jérusalem.
34אלה ראשי האבות ללוים לתלדותם ראשים אלה ישבו בירושלם׃
35And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah:
35Le père de Gabaon, Jeïel, habitait à Gabaon, et le nom de sa femme était Maaca.
35ובגבעון ישבו אבי גבעון יעואל ושם אשתו מעכה׃
36and his first-born son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
36Abdon, son fils premier-né, puis Tsur, Kis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
36ובנו הבכור עבדון וצור וקיש ובעל ונר ונדב׃
37and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
37Guedor, Achjo, Zacharie et Mikloth.
37וגדור ואחיו וזכריה ומקלות׃
38And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
38Mikloth engendra Schimeam. Ils habitaient aussi à Jérusalem près de leurs frères, avec leurs frères. -
38ומקלות הוליד את שמאם ואף הם נגד אחיהם ישבו בירושלם עם אחיהם׃
39And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
39Ner engendra Kis; Kis engendra Saül; Saül engendra Jonathan, Malki-Schua, Abinadab et Eschbaal.
39ונר הוליד את קיש וקיש הוליד את שאול ושאול הוליד את יהונתן ואת מלכי שוע ואת אבינדב ואת אשבעל׃
40And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah.
40Fils de Jonathan: Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal engendra Michée.
40ובן יהונתן מריב בעל ומרי בעל הוליד את מיכה׃
41And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, [and Ahaz].
41Fils de Michée: Pithon, Mélec, et Thachréa.
41ובני מיכה פיתון ומלך ותחרע׃
42And Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
42Achaz engendra Jaera; Jaera engendra Alémeth, Azmaveth et Zimri; Zimri engendra Motsa;
42ואחז הוליד את יערה ויערה הוליד את עלמת ואת עזמות ואת זמרי וזמרי הוליד את מוצא׃
43and Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
43Motsa engendra Binea. Rephaja, son fils; Eleasa, son fils; Atsel, son fils.
43ומוצא הוליד את בנעא ורפיה בנו אלעשה בנו אצל בנו׃
44And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
44Atsel eut six fils, dont voici les noms: Azrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Schearia, Abdias et Hanan. Ce sont là les fils d'Atsel.
44ולאצל ששה בנים ואלה שמותם עזריקם בכרו וישמעאל ושעריה ועבדיה וחנן אלה בני אצל׃
