¹And Jehovah said unto Moses, Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

¹L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Je ferai venir encore une plaie sur Pharaon et sur l'Egypte. Après cela, il vous laissera partir d'ici. Lorsqu'il vous laissera tout à fait aller, il vous chassera même d'ici.

¹ויאמר יהוה אל משה עוד נגע אחד אביא על פרעה ועל מצרים אחרי כן ישלח אתכם מזה כשלחו כלה גרש יגרש אתכם מזה׃

²Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.

²Parle au peuple, pour que chacun demande à son voisin et chacune à sa voisine des vases d'argent et des vases d'or.

²דבר נא באזני העם וישאלו איש מאת רעהו ואשה מאת רעותה כלי כסף וכלי זהב׃

³And Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

³L'Eternel fit trouver grâce au peuple aux yeux des Egyptiens; Moïse lui-même était très considéré dans le pays d'Egypte, aux yeux des serviteurs de Pharaon et aux yeux du peuple.

³ויתן יהוה את חן העם בעיני מצרים גם האיש משה גדול מאד בארץ מצרים בעיני עבדי פרעה ובעיני העם׃

⁴And Moses said, Thus saith Jehovah, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

⁴Moïse dit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Vers le milieu de la nuit, je passerai au travers de l'Egypte;

⁴ויאמר משה כה אמר יהוה כחצת הלילה אני יוצא בתוך מצרים׃

⁵and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle.

⁵et tous les premiers-nés mourront dans le pays d'Egypte, depuis le premier-né de Pharaon assis sur son trône, jusqu'au premier-né de la servante qui est derrière la meule, et jusqu'à tous les premiers-nés des animaux.

⁵ומת כל בכור בארץ מצרים מבכור פרעה הישב על כסאו עד בכור השפחה אשר אחר הרחים וכל בכור בהמה׃

⁶And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, nor shall be any more.

⁶Il y aura dans tout le pays d'Egypte de grands cris, tels qu'il n'y en a point eu et qu'il n'y en aura plus de semblables.

⁶והיתה צעקה גדלה בכל ארץ מצרים אשר כמהו לא נהיתה וכמהו לא תסף׃

⁷But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that Jehovah doth make a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.

⁷Mais parmi tous les enfants d'Israël, depuis les hommes jusqu'aux animaux, pas même un chien ne remuera sa langue, afin que vous sachiez quelle différence l'Eternel fait entre l'Egypte et Israël.

⁷ולכל בני ישראל לא יחרץ כלב לשנו למאיש ועד בהמה למען תדעון אשר יפלה יהוה בין מצרים ובין ישראל׃

⁸And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.

⁸Alors tous tes serviteurs que voici descendront vers moi et se prosterneront devant moi, en disant: Sors, toi et tout le peuple qui s'attache à tes pas! Après cela, je sortirai. Moïse sortit de chez Pharaon, dans une ardente colère.

⁸וירדו כל עבדיך אלה אלי והשתחוו לי לאמר צא אתה וכל העם אשר ברגליך ואחרי כן אצא ויצא מעם פרעה בחרי אף׃

⁹And Jehovah said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

⁹L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Pharaon ne vous écoutera point, afin que mes miracles se multiplient dans le pays d'Egypte.

⁹ויאמר יהוה אל משה לא ישמע אליכם פרעה למען רבות מופתי בארץ מצרים׃

¹⁰And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and Jehovah hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

¹⁰Moïse et Aaron firent tous ces miracles devant Pharaon, et Pharaon ne laissa point aller les enfants d'Israël hors de son pays. Exode

¹⁰ומשה ואהרן עשו את כל המפתים האלה לפני פרעה ויחזק יהוה את לב פרעה ולא שלח את בני ישראל מארצו׃
