¹And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

¹La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:

¹ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃

²Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?

²Fils de l'homme, prophétise contre les pasteurs d'Israël! Prophétise, et dis-leur, aux pasteurs: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Malheur aux pasteurs d'Israël, qui se paissaient eux-mêmes! Les pasteurs ne devaient-ils pas paître le troupeau?

²בן אדם הנבא על רועי ישראל הנבא ואמרת אליהם לרעים כה אמר אדני יהוה הוי רעי ישראל אשר היו רעים אותם הלוא הצאן ירעו הרעים׃

³Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill the fatlings; but ye feed not the sheep.

³Vous avez mangé la graisse, vous vous êtes vêtus avec la laine, vous avez tué ce qui était gras, vous n'avez point fait paître les brebis.

³את החלב תאכלו ואת הצמר תלבשו הבריאה תזבחו הצאן לא תרעו׃

⁴The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought back that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor have ye ruled over them.

⁴Vous n'avez pas fortifié celles qui étaient faibles, guéri celle qui était malade, pansé celle qui était blessée; vous n'avez pas ramené celle qui s'égarait, cherché celle qui était perdue; mais vous les avez dominées avec violence et avec dureté.

⁴את הנחלות לא חזקתם ואת החולה לא רפאתם ולנשברת לא חבשתם ואת הנדחת לא השבתם ואת האבדת לא בקשתם ובחזקה רדיתם אתם ובפרך׃

⁵And they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the beasts of the field, and were scattered.

⁵Elles se sont dispersées, parce qu'elles n'avaient point de pasteur; elles sont devenues la proie de toutes les bêtes des champs, elles se sont dispersées.

⁵ותפוצינה מבלי רעה ותהיינה לאכלה לכל חית השדה ותפוצינה׃

⁶My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my sheep were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and there was none that did search or seek [after them].

⁶Mon troupeau est errant sur toutes les montagnes et sur toutes les collines élevées, mon troupeau est dispersé sur toute la face du pays; nul n'en prend souci, nul ne le cherche.

⁶ישגו צאני בכל ההרים ועל כל גבעה רמה ועל כל פני הארץ נפצו צאני ואין דורש ואין מבקש׃

⁷Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah:

⁷C'est pourquoi, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l'Eternel!

⁷לכן רעים שמעו את דבר יהוה׃

⁸As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely forasmuch as my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the beasts of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my sheep;

⁸Je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, parce que mes brebis sont au pillage et qu'elles sont devenues la proie de toutes les bêtes des champs, faute de pasteur, parce que mes pasteurs ne prenaient aucun souci de mes brebis, qu'ils se paissaient eux-mêmes, et ne faisaient point paître mes brebis, -

⁸חי אני נאם אדני יהוה אם לא יען היות צאני לבז ותהיינה צאני לאכלה לכל חית השדה מאין רעה ולא דרשו רעי את צאני וירעו הרעים אותם ואת צאני לא רעו׃

⁹therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah:

⁹cause de cela, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l'Eternel!

⁹לכן הרעים שמעו דבר יהוה׃

¹⁰Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

¹⁰Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, j'en veux aux pasteurs! Je reprendrai mes brebis d'entre leurs mains, je ne les laisserai plus paître mes brebis, et ils ne se paîtront plus eux-mêmes; je délivrerai mes brebis de leur bouche, et elles ne seront plus pour eux une proie.

¹⁰כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אל הרעים ודרשתי את צאני מידם והשבתים מרעות צאן ולא ירעו עוד הרעים אותם והצלתי צאני מפיהם ולא תהיין להם לאכלה׃

¹¹For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.

¹¹Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, j'aurai soin moi-même de mes brebis, et j'en ferai la revue.

¹¹כי כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אני ודרשתי את צאני ובקרתים׃

¹²As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places whither they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

¹²Comme un pasteur inspecte son troupeau quand il est au milieu de ses brebis éparses, ainsi je ferai la revue de mes brebis, et je les recueillerai de tous les lieux où elles ont été dispersées au jour des nuages et de l'obscurité.

¹²כבקרת רעה עדרו ביום היותו בתוך צאנו נפרשות כן אבקר את צאני והצלתי אתהם מכל המקומת אשר נפצו שם ביום ענן וערפל׃

¹³And I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them upon the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

¹³Je les retirerai d'entre les peuples, je les rassemblerai des diverses contrées, et je les ramènerai dans leur pays; je les ferai paître sur les montagnes d'Israël, le long des ruisseaux, et dans tous les lieux habités du pays.

¹³והוצאתים מן העמים וקבצתים מן הארצות והביאתים אל אדמתם ורעיתים אל הרי ישראל באפיקים ובכל מושבי הארץ׃

¹⁴I will feed them with good pasture; and upon the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

¹⁴Je les ferai paître dans un bon pâturage, et leur demeure sera sur les montagnes élevées d'Israël; là elles reposeront dans un agréable asile, et elles auront de gras pâturages sur les montagnes d'Israël.

¹⁴במרעה טוב ארעה אתם ובהרי מרום ישראל יהיה נוהם שם תרבצנה בנוה טוב ומרעה שמן תרעינה אל הרי ישראל׃

¹⁵I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord Jehovah.

¹⁵C'est moi qui ferai paître mes brebis, c'est moi qui les ferai reposer, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

¹⁵אני ארעה צאני ואני ארביצם נאם אדני יהוה׃

¹⁶I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.

¹⁶Je chercherai celle qui était perdue, je ramènerai celle qui était égarée, je panserai celle qui est blessée, et je fortifierai celle qui est malade. Mais je détruirai celles qui sont grasses et vigoureuses. Je veux les paître avec justice.

¹⁶את האבדת אבקש ואת הנדחת אשיב ולנשברת אחבש ואת החולה אחזק ואת השמנה ואת החזקה אשמיד ארענה במשפט׃

¹⁷And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the he-goats.

¹⁷Et vous, mes brebis, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, je jugerai entre brebis et brebis, entre béliers et boucs.

¹⁷ואתנה צאני כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני שפט בין שה לשה לאילים ולעתודים׃

¹⁸Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have fed upon the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

¹⁸Est-ce trop peu pour vous de paître dans le bon pâturage, pour que vous fouliez de vos pieds le reste de votre pâturage? de boire une eau limpide, pour que vous troubliez le reste avec vos pieds?

¹⁸המעט מכם המרעה הטוב תרעו ויתר מרעיכם תרמסו ברגליכם ומשקע מים תשתו ואת הנותרים ברגליכם תרפשון׃

¹⁹And as for my sheep, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

¹⁹Et mes brebis doivent paître ce que vos pieds ont foulé, et boire ce que vos pieds ont troublé!

¹⁹וצאני מרמס רגליכם תרעינה ומרפש רגליכם תשתינה׃

²⁰Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

²⁰C'est pourquoi ainsi leur parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, je jugerai entre la brebis grasse et la brebis maigre.

²⁰לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה אליהם הנני אני ושפטתי בין שה בריה ובין שה רזה׃

²¹Because ye thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;

²¹Parce que vous avez heurté avec le côté et avec l'épaule, et frappé de vos cornes toutes les brebis faibles, jusqu'à ce que vous les ayez chassées,

²¹יען בצד ובכתף תהדפו ובקרניכם תנגחו כל הנחלות עד אשר הפיצותם אותנה אל החוצה׃

²²therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

²²je porterai secours à mes brebis, afin qu'elles ne soient plus au pillage, et je jugerai entre brebis et brebis.

²²והושעתי לצאני ולא תהיינה עוד לבז ושפטתי בין שה לשה׃

²³And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

²³J'établirai sur elles un seul pasteur, qui les fera paître, mon serviteur David; il les fera paître, il sera leur pasteur.

²³והקמתי עליהם רעה אחד ורעה אתהן את עבדי דויד הוא ירעה אתם והוא יהיה להן לרעה׃

²⁴And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

²⁴Moi, l'Eternel, je serai leur Dieu, et mon serviteur David sera prince au milieu d'elles. Moi, l'Eternel, j'ai parlé.

²⁴ואני יהוה אהיה להם לאלהים ועבדי דוד נשיא בתוכם אני יהוה דברתי׃

²⁵And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

²⁵Je traiterai avec elles une alliance de paix, et je ferai disparaître du pays les animaux sauvages; elles habiteront en sécurité dans le désert, et dormiront au milieu des forêts.

²⁵וכרתי להם ברית שלום והשבתי חיה רעה מן הארץ וישבו במדבר לבטח וישנו ביערים׃

²⁶And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.

²⁶Je ferai d'elles et des environs de ma colline un sujet de bénédiction; j'enverrai la pluie en son temps, et ce sera une pluie de bénédiction.

²⁶ונתתי אותם וסביבות גבעתי ברכה והורדתי הגשם בעתו גשמי ברכה יהיו׃

²⁷And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those that made bondmen of them.

²⁷L'arbre des champs donnera son fruit, et la terre donnera ses produits. Elles seront en sécurité dans leur pays; et elles sauront que je suis l'Eternel, quand je briserai les liens de leur joug, et que je les délivrerai de la main de ceux qui les asservissaient.

²⁷ונתן עץ השדה את פריו והארץ תתן יבולה והיו על אדמתם לבטח וידעו כי אני יהוה בשברי את מטות עלם והצלתים מיד העבדים בהם׃

²⁸And they shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.

²⁸Elles ne seront plus au pillage parmi les nations, les bêtes de la terre ne les dévoreront plus, elles habiteront en sécurité, et il n'y aura personne pour les troubler.

²⁸ולא יהיו עוד בז לגוים וחית הארץ לא תאכלם וישבו לבטח ואין מחריד׃

²⁹And I will raise up unto them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.

²⁹J'établirai pour elles une plantation qui aura du renom; elles ne seront plus consumées par la faim dans le pays, et elles ne porteront plus l'opprobre des nations.

²⁹והקמתי להם מטע לשם ולא יהיו עוד אספי רעב בארץ ולא ישאו עוד כלמת הגוים׃

³⁰And they shall know that I, Jehovah, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord Jehovah.

³⁰Et elles sauront que moi, l'Eternel, leur Dieu, je suis avec elles, et qu'elles sont mon peuple, elles, la maison d'Israël, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

³⁰וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם אתם והמה עמי בית ישראל נאם אדני יהוה׃

³¹And ye my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord Jehovah.

³¹Vous, mes brebis, brebis de mon pâturage, vous êtes des hommes; moi, je suis votre Dieu, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

³¹ואתן צאני צאן מרעיתי אדם אתם אני אלהיכם נאם אדני יהוה׃
