1And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
1L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
1וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר׃
2Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof),
2Donne cet ordre aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan, ce pays deviendra votre héritage, le pays de Canaan, dont voici les limites.
2צו את בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם כי אתם באים אל הארץ כנען זאת הארץ אשר תפל לכם בנחלה ארץ כנען לגבלתיה׃
3then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
3Le côté du midi commencera au désert de Tsin près d'Edom. Ainsi, votre limite méridionale partira de l'extrémité de la mer Salée, vers l'orient;
3והיה לכם פאת נגב ממדבר צן על ידי אדום והיה לכם גבול נגב מקצה ים המלח קדמה׃
4and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;
4elle tournera au sud de la montée d'Akrabbim, passera par Tsin, et s'étendra jusqu'au midi de Kadès-Barnéa; elle continuera par Hatsar-Addar, et passera vers Atsmon;
4ונסב לכם הגבול מנגב למעלה עקרבים ועבר צנה והיה תוצאתיו מנגב לקדש ברנע ויצא חצר אדר ועבר עצמנה׃
5and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea.
5depuis Atsmon, elle tournera jusqu'au torrent d'Egypte, pour aboutir à la mer.
5ונסב הגבול מעצמון נחלה מצרים והיו תוצאתיו הימה׃
6And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border [thereof]: this shall be your west border.
6Votre limite occidentale sera la grande mer: ce sera votre limite à l'occident.
6וגבול ים והיה לכם הים הגדול וגבול זה יהיה לכם גבול ים׃
7And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor;
7Voici quelle sera votre limite septentrionale: à partir de la grande mer, vous la tracerez jusqu'à la montagne de Hor;
7וזה יהיה לכם גבול צפון מן הים הגדל תתאו לכם הר ההר׃
8from mount Hor ye shall mark out unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
8depuis la montagne de Hor, vous la ferez passer par Hamath, et arriver à Tsedad;
8מהר ההר תתאו לבא חמת והיו תוצאת הגבל צדדה׃
9and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.
9elle continuera par Ziphron, pour aboutir à Hatsar-Enan: ce sera votre limite au septentrion.
9ויצא הגבל זפרנה והיו תוצאתיו חצר עינן זה יהיה לכם גבול צפון׃
10And ye shall mark out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;
10Vous tracerez votre limite orientale de Hatsar-Enan à Schepham;
10והתאויתם לכם לגבול קדמה מחצר עינן שפמה׃
11and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
11elle descendra de Schepham vers Ribla, à l'orient d'Aïn; elle descendra, et s'étendra le long de la mer de Kinnéreth, à l'orient;
11וירד הגבל משפם הרבלה מקדם לעין וירד הגבול ומחה על כתף ים כנרת קדמה׃
12and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.
12elle descendra encore vers le Jourdain, pour aboutir à la mer Salée. Tel sera votre pays avec ses limites tout autour.
12וירד הגבול הירדנה והיו תוצאתיו ים המלח זאת תהיה לכם הארץ לגבלתיה סביב׃
13And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
13Moïse transmit cet ordre aux enfants d'Israël, et dit: C'est là le pays que vous partagerez par le sort, et que l'Eternel a résolu de donner aux neuf tribus et à la demi-tribu.
13ויצו משה את בני ישראל לאמר זאת הארץ אשר תתנחלו אתה בגורל אשר צוה יהוה לתת לתשעת המטות וחצי המטה׃
14for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:
14Car la tribu des fils de Ruben et la tribu des fils de Gad ont pris leur héritage, selon les maisons de leurs pères; la demi-tribu de Manassé a aussi pris son héritage.
14כי לקחו מטה בני הראובני לבית אבתם ומטה בני הגדי לבית אבתם וחצי מטה מנשה לקחו נחלתם׃
15the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
15Ces deux tribus et la demi-tribu ont pris leur héritage en deçà du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho, du côté de l'orient.
15שני המטות וחצי המטה לקחו נחלתם מעבר לירדן ירחו קדמה מזרחה׃
16And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
16L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
16וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר׃
17These are the names of the men that shall divide the land unto you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
17Voici les noms des hommes qui partageront entre vous le pays: le sacrificateur Eléazar, et Josué, fils de Nun.
17אלה שמות האנשים אשר ינחלו לכם את הארץ אלעזר הכהן ויהושע בן נון׃
18And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
18Vous prendrez encore un prince de chaque tribu, pour faire le partage du pays.
18ונשיא אחד נשיא אחד ממטה תקחו לנחל את הארץ׃
19And these are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
19Voici les noms de ces hommes. Pour la tribu de Juda: Caleb, fils de Jephunné;
19ואלה שמות האנשים למטה יהודה כלב בן יפנה׃
20And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
20pour la tribu des fils de Siméon: Samuel, fils d'Ammihud;
20ולמטה בני שמעון שמואל בן עמיהוד׃
21Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
21pour la tribu de Benjamin: Elidad, fils de Kislon;
21למטה בנימן אלידד בן כסלון׃
22And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
22pour la tribu des fils de Dan: le prince Buki, fils de Jogli;
22ולמטה בני דן נשיא בקי בן יגלי׃
23Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
23pour les fils de Joseph, -pour la tribu des fils de Manassé: le prince Hanniel, fils d'Ephod; -
23לבני יוסף למטה בני מנשה נשיא חניאל בן אפד׃
24And of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
24et pour la tribu des fils d'Ephraïm: le prince Kemuel, fils de Schiphtan;
24ולמטה בני אפרים נשיא קמואל בן שפטן׃
25And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
25pour la tribu des fils de Zabulon: le prince Elitsaphan, fils de Parnac;
25ולמטה בני זבולן נשיא אליצפן בן פרנך׃
26And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
26pour la tribu des fils d'Issacar: le prince Paltiel, fils d'Azzan;
26ולמטה בני יששכר נשיא פלטיאל בן עזן׃
27And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
27pour la tribu des fils d'Aser: le prince Ahihud, fils de Schelomi;
27ולמטה בני אשר נשיא אחיהוד בן שלמי׃
28And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
28pour la tribu des fils de Nephthali: le prince Pedahel, fils d'Ammihud.
28ולמטה בני נפתלי נשיא פדהאל בן עמיהוד׃
29These are they whom Jehovah commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
29Tels sont ceux à qui l'Eternel ordonna de partager le pays de Canaan entre les enfants d'Israël.
29אלה אשר צוה יהוה לנחל את בני ישראל בארץ כנען׃
