¹And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.

¹Et j'entendis une voix forte qui venait du temple, et qui disait aux sept anges: Allez, et versez sur la terre les sept coupes de la colère de Dieu.

¹ואשמע קול גדול מן ההיכל האמר אל שבעת המלאכים לכו ושפכו את קערת חמת האלהים ארצה׃

²And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshipped his image.

²Le premier alla, et il versa sa coupe sur la terre. Et un ulcère malin et douloureux frappa les hommes qui avaient la marque de la bête et qui adoraient son image.

²וילך הראשון וישפך את קערתו על הארץ ויהי שהין רע ומכאיב באנשים אשר עליהם תו החיה ובמשתחוים לצלמה׃

³And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, [even] the things that were in the sea.

³Le second versa sa coupe dans la mer. Et elle devint du sang, comme celui d'un mort; et tout être vivant mourut, tout ce qui était dans la mer.

³וישפך השני את קערתו על הים ויהי לדם כדם חלל ותמת כל נפש חיה אשר בים׃

⁴And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and it became blood.

⁴Le troisième versa sa coupe dans les fleuves et dans les sources d'eaux. Et ils devinrent du sang.

⁴וישפך השלישי את קערתו בנהרות ובמעינות המים ויהיו לדם׃

⁵And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge:

⁵Et j'entendis l'ange des eaux qui disait: Tu es juste, toi qui es, et qui étais; tu es saint, parce que tu as exercé ce jugement.

⁵ואשמע את מלאך המים אמר צדיק אתה ההוה והיה והקדוש כי כן שפטת׃

⁶for they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.

⁶Car ils ont versé le sang des saints et des prophètes, et tu leur as donné du sang à boire: ils en sont dignes.

⁶כי דם קדשים ונביאים שפכו ודם השקיתם כי גמול ידם הוא׃

⁷And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

⁷Et j'entendis l'autel qui disait: Oui, Seigneur Dieu tout-puissant, tes jugements sont véritables et justes.

⁷ואשמע את המזבח אמר אמנם כן יהוה אלהים צבאות אמת וצדק משפטיך׃

⁸And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.

⁸Le quatrième versa sa coupe sur le soleil. Et il lui fut donné de brûler les hommes par le feu;

⁸וישפך המלאך הרביעי את קערתו על השמש וינתן לו לצרב את בני אדם באש׃

⁹And men were scorched men with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.

⁹et les hommes furent brûlés par une grande chaleur, et ils blasphémèrent le nom du Dieu qui a l'autorité sur ces fléaux, et ils ne se repentirent pas pour lui donner gloire.

⁹ויצרבו בני אדם בחם גדול ויגדפו את שם אלהים אשר לו הממשלה על המכות האלה ולא שבו לתת לו הכבוד׃

¹⁰And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

¹⁰Le cinquième versa sa coupe sur le trône de la bête. Et son royaume fut couvert de ténèbres; et les hommes se mordaient la langue de douleur,

¹⁰וישפך החמישי את קערתו על כסא החיה ותחשך מלכותה וינשכו מכאב לב את לשונם׃

¹¹and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.

¹¹et ils blasphémèrent le Dieu du ciel, à cause de leurs douleurs et de leurs ulcères, et ils ne se repentirent pas de leurs oeuvres.

¹¹ויגדפו את אלהי השמים ממכאבם ושחינם ולא שבו ממעשיהם׃

¹²And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the [river] Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might by made ready for the kings that [come] from the sunrising.

¹²Le sixième versa sa coupe sur le grand fleuve, l'Euphrate. Et son eau tarit, afin que le chemin des rois venant de l'Orient fût préparé.

¹²וישפך הששי את קערתו על הנהר הגדול נהר פרת ויחרבו מימיו למען תישר מסלה למלכים אשר ממזרח שמש׃

¹³And I saw [coming] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:

¹³Et je vis sortir de la bouche du dragon, et de la bouche de la bête, et de la bouche du faux prophète, trois esprits impurs, semblables à des grenouilles.

¹³וארא והנה מפי התנין ומפי החיה ומפי נביא השקר יצאות שלש רוחות טמאות דומת לצפרדעים׃

¹⁴for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

¹⁴Car ce sont des esprits de démons, qui font des prodiges, et qui vont vers les rois de toute la terre, afin de les rassembler pour le combat du grand jour du Dieu tout-puissant.

¹⁴כי רוחות השדים הנה עשות אותות ויצאות אל מלכי ארץ ותבל כלה לאספם למלחמה היום ההוא הגדול יום אלהי הצבאות׃

¹⁵(Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame.)

¹⁵Voici, je viens comme un voleur. Heureux celui qui veille, et qui garde ses vêtements, afin qu'il ne marche pas nu et qu'on ne voie pas sa honte!

¹⁵הנני בא כגנב אשרי השקד ושמר את בגדיו למען לא ילך ערם וראו את ערותו׃

¹⁶And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-magedon.

¹⁶Ils les rassemblèrent dans le lieu appelé en hébreu Harmaguédon.

¹⁶ויאסף אתם אל המקום הנקרא בעברית הר מגדון׃

¹⁷And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:

¹⁷Le septième versa sa coupe dans l'air. Et il sortit du temple, du trône, une voix forte qui disait: C'en est fait!

¹⁷וישפך המלאך השביעי את קערתו על האור ויצא קול גדול מהיכל השמים מן הכסא ויאמר היה נהיתה׃

¹⁸and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

¹⁸Et il y eut des éclairs, des voix, des tonnerres, et un grand tremblement de terre, tel qu'il n'y avait jamais eu depuis que l'homme est sur la terre, un aussi grand tremblement.

¹⁸ויהיו קלות ורעמים וברקים ויהי רעש גדול אשר לא היה כמהו למן היות אדם על הארץ רעש כזה גדול עד מאד׃

¹⁹And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

¹⁹Et la grande ville fut divisée en trois parties, et les villes des nations tombèrent, et Dieu, se souvint de Babylone la grande, pour lui donner la coupe du vin de son ardente colère.

¹⁹והעיר הגדולה נחלקה לשלשה חלקים ותפלנה ערי הגוים ותזכר בבל הגדולה לפני אלהים לתת לה כוס יין חמת אפו׃

²⁰And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

²⁰Et toutes les îles s'enfuirent, et les montagnes ne furent pas retrouvées.

²⁰וינס כל אי וההרים לא נמצאו׃

²¹And great hail, [every stone] about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.

²¹Et une grosse grêle, dont les grêlons pesaient un talent, tomba du ciel sur les hommes; et les hommes blasphémèrent Dieu, à cause du fléau de la grêle, parce que ce fléau était très grand.

²¹וברד כבד כככר ירד מן השמים על בני האדם ויגדפו בני האדם את האלהים על אדות מכת הברד כי כבדה מכתו מאד׃
