¹O give thanks unto Jehovah; For he is good; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.

¹Dėkokite Viešpačiui, nes Jis geras, nes Jo gailestingumas amžinas.

²Let the redeemed of Jehovah say [so], Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

²Taip tekartoja Viešpaties išpirktieji, kuriuos Jis išpirko iš priešo rankos,

³And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.

³ir surinko juos iš kraštų: iš rytų ir vakarų, iš šiaurės ir pietų.

⁴They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; They found no city of habitation.

⁴Po dykumą jie klajojo tuščiais keliais, nerasdami miesto, kur galėtų gyventi.

⁵Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them.

⁵Jie alko ir troško, jų sielos nusilpo.

⁶Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he delivered them out of their distresses,

⁶Varge jie Viešpaties šaukėsi, Jis iš sielvartų juos išvadavo.

⁷He led them also by a straight way, That they might go to a city of habitation.

⁷Jis vedė juos teisingu keliu, kad jie nueitų į gyvenamą miestą.

⁸Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!

⁸Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

⁹For he satisfieth the longing soul, And the hungry soul he filleth with good.

⁹Jis pagirdė trokštančią sielą, išalkusią sielą pripildė gėrybių.

¹⁰Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Being bound in affliction and iron,

¹⁰Kurie sėdėjo tamsoje ir mirties šešėlyje, geležimi ir skurdu sukaustyti,­

¹¹Because they rebelled against the words of God, And contemned the counsel of the Most High:

¹¹nes buvo sukilę prieš Dievo žodžius ir paniekinę Aukščiausiojo patarimą,

¹²Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; They fell down, and there was none to help.

¹²todėl Jis pažemino vargu jų širdis,­ krito, ir niekas jiems nepadėjo.

¹³Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saved them out of their distresses.

¹³Varge jie šaukėsi Viešpaties, Jis iš sielvartų juos išgelbėjo.

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And brake their bonds in sunder.

¹⁴Jis išvedė juos iš tamsos ir mirties šešėlio ir sutraukė jų pančius.

¹⁵Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!

¹⁵Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

¹⁶For he hath broken the gates of brass, And cut the bars of iron in sunder.

¹⁶Jis sudaužė varinius vartus ir geležinius skląsčius sulaužė.

¹⁷Fools because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

¹⁷Kvailiai dėl savo nedorybių ir dėl savo kalčių kenčia.

¹⁸Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; And they draw near unto the gates of death.

¹⁸Jiems nebemielas joks valgis, jie priartėjo prie mirties vartų.

¹⁹Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saveth them out of their distresses.

¹⁹Varge jie šaukiasi Viešpaties, Jis iš sielvartų juos išgelbsti.

²⁰He sendeth his word, and healeth them, And delivereth [them] from their destructions.

²⁰Jis siuntė savo žodį ir išgydė juos, iš pražūties juos išlaisvino.

²¹Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!

²¹Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

²²And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with singing.

²²Teaukoja Jam padėkos aukas ir džiūgaudami teskelbia Jo darbus.

²³They that go down to the sea in ships, That do business in great waters;

²³Kas laivais plaukia į jūrą, vandenų platybėje prekiauja,

²⁴These see the works of Jehovah, And his wonders in the deep.

²⁴tie mato Viešpaties darbus ir Jo stebuklus gelmėse.

²⁵For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, Which lifteth up the waves thereof.

²⁵Jam įsakius, audros pakyla, šiaušiasi bangos.

²⁶They mount up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths: Their soul melteth away because of trouble.

²⁶Ligi debesų jie pakyla, į gelmes vėl sminga, širdis jų tirpsta nelaimėje.

²⁷They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits' end.

²⁷Jie svirduliuoja ir klydinėja kaip girti, jų jėgos baigia išsekti.

²⁸Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he bringeth them out of their distresses.

²⁸Varge jie Viešpaties šaukiasi, Jis iš sielvartų juos išvaduoja.

²⁹He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.

²⁹Jis nutildo audrą, nuramina bangas.

³⁰Then are they glad because they are quiet; So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

³⁰Tada jie džiaugiasi nurimusia jūra. Jis nuveda juos į geidžiamą uostą.

³¹Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!

³¹Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

³²Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, And praise him in the seat of the elders.

³²Jie teaukština Jį tautos susirinkime, tegiria Jį vyresniųjų taryboje.

³³He turneth rivers into a wilderness, And watersprings into a thirsty ground;

³³Upes Jis dykuma paverčia, vandens šaltinius­sausa žeme,

³⁴A fruitful land into a salt desert, For the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

³⁴derlingą žemę paverčia druskynais dėl nedorybių žmonių, kurie joje gyvena.

³⁵He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, And a dry land into watersprings.

³⁵Jis dykumą ežeru paverčia ir sausą žemę­vandens šaltiniais.

³⁶And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, That they may prepare a city of habitation,

³⁶Jis alkanuosius apgyvendina ten, kad jie įkurtų gyvenamą miestą.

³⁷And sow fields, and plant vineyards, And get them fruits of increase.

³⁷Jie apsėja laukus, pasodina vynuogynus, kurie atneša derlių.

³⁸He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; And he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

³⁸Jis palaimina juos, ir jų labai padaugėja, jų galvijams neleidžia mažėti.

³⁹Again, they are diminished and bowed down Through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.

³⁹Kai jų sumažėja ir jie pažeminami priespauda, nelaimėmis ir širdgėla,

⁴⁰He poureth contempt upon princes, And causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.

⁴⁰Jis paniekina kunigaikščius ir klaidina juos dykumoje be kelio,

⁴¹Yet setteth he the needy on high from affliction, And maketh [him] families like a flock.

⁴¹bet Jis pakelia vargšą iš nelaimės, padaro gausią kaip bandą jo giminę.

⁴²The upright shall see it, and be glad; And all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

⁴²Teisieji tai matys ir džiaugsis, o nedorybė užčiaups savo burną.

⁴³Whoso is wise will give heed to these things; And they will consider the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah.

⁴³Išmintingasis tai pamatys ir supras Viešpaties malonę.
