¹Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.

¹Girkite Viešpatį! Viešpaties tarnai, girkite Viešpaties vardą!

²Blessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.

²Palaimintas Viešpaties vardas dabar ir per amžius.

³From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

³Nuo saulės užtekėjimo iki nusileidimo tebūna giriamas Viešpaties vardas!

⁴Jehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

⁴Viešpats yra virš visų tautų, Jo šlovė aukščiau nei dangus.

⁵Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

⁵Kas yra kaip Viešpats, mūsų Dievas, kuris gyvena aukštybėse?

⁶That humbleth himself to behold [The things that are] in heaven and in the earth?

⁶Jis pasilenkia žiūrėti į dangų ir žemę.

⁷He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

⁷Jis kelia iš dulkių beturtį, iš purvo vargšą ištraukia,

⁸That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

⁸sodina jį greta kunigaikščių, šalia savo tautos kunigaikščių.

⁹He maketh the barren woman to keep house, [And to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.

⁹Jis suteikia nevaisingajai namus, padarydamas ją laiminga vaikų motina. Girkite Viešpatį!
