1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
1Ar amžinai? Ar ilgai slėpsi nuo manęs savo veidą?
2How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
2Ar dar ilgai mane spaus liūdnos mintys, širdį skaudės kas dieną? Ar dar ilgai mano priešas didžiuosis prieš mane?
3Consider [and] answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death;
3Pažvelk, išklausyk mane, Viešpatie, mano Dieve! Apšviesk man akis, kad mirties miegu neužmigčiau.
4Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [Lest] mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.
4Kad mano priešas nesakytų: “Aš nugalėjau jį”. Kad nesidžiaugtų mano prispaudėjai, man susvyravus.
5But I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
5Aš pasitikėjau Tavo gailestingumu. Mano širdis džiaugiasi Tavo išgelbėjimu.
6I will sing unto Jehovah, Because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
6Giedosiu Viešpačiui, kuris man daro gera.
