1Kai šaukiuosi Tavęs, išklausyk, mano teisumo Dieve! Tu išlaisvinai mane, kai buvau suspaustas. Būk man gailestingas, išgirsk mano maldą!
2O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? [How long] will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah
2O žmonės, kaip ilgai niekinsite mano garbę? Ar ilgai mylėsite tuštybę ir ieškosite melo?
3But know that Jehovah hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him.
3Žinokite, kad Viešpats sau atskyrė šventąjį. Viešpats išgirsta, kai Jo šaukiuosi.
4Stand in awe, and sin not: Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah
4Rūstaudami nenusidėkite; svarstykite savo širdyje gulėdami lovose ir nusiraminkite.
5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in Jehovah.
5Aukokite teisumo aukas ir Viešpačiu pasitikėkite.
6Many there are that say, Who will show us [any] good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
6Daugelis sako: “Kas parodys mums gera?” Pakelk virš mūsų, Viešpatie, savo šviesų veidą!
7Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than [they have] when their grain and their new wine are increased.
7Tu davei mano širdžiai daugiau linksmybės negu jiems, kai jie turi gausiai javų ir vyno.
8In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; For thou, Jehovah, alone makest me dwell in safety.
8Atsigulu ramus ir užmiegu, nes Tu vienintelis, Viešpatie, leidi man saugiai gyventi.
