¹For the Chief Musician; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer.

¹देवा, माझे प्रार्थना गीत ऐक. माझ्या प्रार्थनेकडे लक्ष दे.

²From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

²मी कुठेही असलो कितीही अशक्त असलो तरी मी तुला मदतीसाठी हाक मारीन. तू मला अगदी उंचावरच्या सुरक्षित जागी घेऊन जा.

³For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.

³तूच माझी सुरक्षित जागा आहेस. माझ्या शत्रूपासून माझे रक्षण करणारा तू बळकट किल्ला आहेस.

⁴I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah

⁴तुझ्या तंबूत मला कायमचे राहायला पाहिजे, जेथे तू माझे रक्षण करु शकशील अशा ठिकाणी मला लपण्याची इच्छा आहे.

⁵For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.

⁵देवा, मी तुला काही देण्याचे वचन दिले होते ते तू ऐकले होतेस परंतु तुझ्या उपासकांजवळ जे काही आहे ते तुझेच आहे.

⁶Thou wilt prolong the king's life; His years shall be as many generations.

⁶राजाला भरपूर आयुष्य दे त्याला कायमचे राहू दे.

⁷He shall abide before God for ever: Oh prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

⁷त्याला देवाजवळ चिरकाल राहू दे. तुझ्या खऱ्या प्रेमाने तू त्याचे रक्षण कर.

⁸So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, That I may daily perform my vows.

⁸आणि मी तुझ्या नावाचा सदैव जयजयकार करीन. ज्या गोष्टी करण्याचे मी वचन दिले त्या मी रोज करीन.
