Paite

1 Timothy

4

1But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,
1Himahleh, tunungchiang in mi khenkkhatten; pimangna kha te leh dawite thu hilhna limsakin, ginna tuh a hon tawpsan ding uh chih Kha in kichiantakin a gena; huai tuh
2through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron;
2mi zuaitheite lepchiahna jiakin ahi; huai mi juautheite tuh amau sia leh pha theihna ngeia sik-ama bik bang ahi uhi,
3forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.
3kiten a kham ua, nekding ante, thutak theia gingta ten kipah thu gen a san ding ua Pathian in a siamte mah nek louh ding a chi nak uhi.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving:
4Pathian thilsiam chiteng tuh a hoih ngala, kipahthu gena san ahih khit phot leh bangmah deihlouh ding ahi kei;
5for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.
5Pathian thu leh thumna a hihsiangthou ahi khinta ngala.
6If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed [until now]:
6Huaite unaute na theihsak leh, Kris Jesu nasempa hoihtak, ginnaleh thuhilhna hoih tutana na zuih thu a vaklian nahi ding hi.
7but refuse profane and old wives' fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness:
7Ahihhangin, Pathian zahlouhna leh tangthu bulbal neilou bang deih ken. Huan, Pathian limsak dingin kithuzoh in;
8for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come.
8Pumpi kithuzohna a hihleh a phatuam zeka; Pathian limsakna ichihleh khantawn in, hinna, tua omsa leh hong om nawn ding piak chiamna aneih jiakin thil tengteng ah a phatuam hi.
9Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation.
9Hiai thu tuh a muanhuai in a laktuak mahmah hi.
10For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe.
10Huchiin Pathian hing imuan ziakin I semgim ua, ipang teitei ahi ngala; amah tuh mi tengteng Hondampa ahi-a, a gingtate Hondampa ahi tuanse hi.
11These things command and teach.
11Hiai thute pia inla, thuhilh in.
12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an ensample to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in faith, in purity.
12Na naupanna kuamahin sit kei hen; thugen lam ah, tatdan lamah, itna lamah, siangthouna lam ah gingtute zuih ding hizaw in.
13Till I come, give heed to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.
13Ka hongpai masiah simkhawng, thuhilh khawng limsak in.
14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
14Nang mah a om thilpiak, thu genkholhnaa piak, upate khut ngaka Pathian in nang a hon neihsak tuh limsak lou ken.
15Be diligent in these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest unto all.
15Mi teng teng kiang a na phattuamna a lat theihna dingin huaithilte ah thanuam inla, huaite ah kizang zou in.Nangmah leh na thuhilh ah pilvang inla; huai thilte hihin om gige in; huchibang hih in nang mah leh na thuzate na hondam ding hi.
16Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee.
16Nangmah leh na thuhilh ah pilvang inla; huai thilte hihin om gige in; huchibang hih in nang mah leh na thuzate na hondam ding hi.
