¹And God spake all these words, saying,

¹И изрек Бог все слова сии, говоря:

²I am Jehovah thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

²Я Господь, Бог твой, Который вывел тебя из земли Египетской, из дома рабства;

³Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

³да не будет у тебя других богов пред лицем Моим.

⁴Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any likeness [of any thing] that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

⁴Не делай себе кумира и никакого изображения того, что на небе вверху, и что на земле внизу, и что в воде ниже земли;

⁵Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them, for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,

⁵не поклоняйся им и не служи им, ибо Я Господь, Бог твой, Бог ревнитель, наказывающий детей за вину отцов до третьего и четвертого рода , ненавидящих Меня,

⁶and showing lovingkindness unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

⁶и творящий милость до тысячи родов любящим Меня и соблюдающим заповеди Мои.

⁷Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God in vain; for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

⁷Не произноси имени Господа, Бога твоего, напрасно, ибо Господь не оставит без наказания того, кто произносит имя Его напрасно.

⁸Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

⁸Помни день субботний, чтобы святить его;

⁹Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work;

⁹шесть дней работай и делай всякие дела твои,

¹⁰but the seventh day is a sabbath unto Jehovah thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

¹⁰а день седьмой – суббота Господу, Богу твоему: не делай в оный никакого дела ни ты, ни сын твой, ни дочь твоя, ни раб твой, ни рабыня твоя, ни скот твой, ни пришлец, который в жилищах твоих;

¹¹for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Jehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

¹¹ибо в шесть дней создал Господь небо и землю, море и все, что вних, а в день седьмой почил; посему благословил Господь день субботний и освятил его.

¹²Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

¹²Почитай отца твоего и мать твою, чтобы продлились дни твои на земле,которую Господь, Бог твой, дает тебе.

¹³Thou shalt not kill.

¹³Не убивай.

¹⁴Thou shalt not commit adultery.

¹⁴Не прелюбодействуй.

¹⁵Thou shalt not steal.

¹⁵Не кради.

¹⁶Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

¹⁶Не произноси ложного свидетельства на ближнего твоего.

¹⁷Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

¹⁷Не желай дома ближнего твоего; не желай жены ближнего твоего, нираба его, ни рабыни его, ни вола его, ни осла его, ничего, что у ближнего твоего.

¹⁸And all the people perceived the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the voice of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they trembled, and stood afar off.

¹⁸Весь народ видел громы и пламя, и звук трубный, и гору дымящуюся; и увидев то , народ отступил и стал вдали.

¹⁹And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

¹⁹И сказали Моисею: говори ты с нами, и мы будем слушать, но чтобы не говорил с нами Бог, дабы нам не умереть.

²⁰And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.

²⁰И сказал Моисей народу: не бойтесь; Бог пришел,чтобы испытать вас и чтобы страх Его был пред лицем вашим, дабы вы не грешили.

²¹And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

²¹И стоял народ вдали, а Моисей вступил во мрак, где Бог.

²²And Jehovah said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye yourselves have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

²²И сказал Господь Моисею: так скажи сынам Израилевым: вы видели, как Я с неба говорил вам;

²³Ye shall not make [other gods] with me; gods of silver, or gods of gold, ye shall not make unto you.

²³не делайте предо Мною богов серебряных, или богов золотых, не делайте себе:

²⁴An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt-offerings, and thy peace-offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in every place where I record my name I will come unto thee and I will bless thee.

²⁴сделай Мне жертвенник из земли и приноси на нем всесожжения твои и мирные жертвы твои, овец твоих и волов твоих; на всяком месте, где Я положу память имени Моего, Я приду к тебе и благословлю тебя;

²⁵And if thou make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stones; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

²⁵если же будешь делать Мне жертвенник из камней, то не сооружай его из тесаных, ибо, как скоро наложишь на них тесло твое, то осквернишь их;

²⁶Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon.

²⁶и не всходи по ступеням к жертвеннику Моему, дабы не открылась при нем нагота твоя.
