1And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
1На третий день был брак в Кане Галилейской, и Матерь Иисуса была там.
2and Jesus also was bidden, and his disciples, to the marriage.
2Был также зван Иисус и ученики Его на брак.
3And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
3И как недоставало вина, то Матерь Иисуса говорит Ему: вина нет у них.
4And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
4Иисус говорит Ей: что Мне и Тебе, Жено? еще не пришел час Мой.
5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
5Матерь Его сказала служителям: что скажет Он вам, то сделайте.
6Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
6Было же тут шесть каменных водоносов, стоявших по обычаю очищения Иудейского, вмещавших по две или по три меры.
7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
7Иисус говорит им: наполните сосуды водою. И наполнили их до верха.
8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.
8И говорит им: теперь почерпните и несите к распорядителю пира. И понесли.
9And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,
9Когда же распорядитель отведал воды, сделавшейся вином, – а он не знал, откуда это вино , знали только служители, почерпавшие воду, – тогда распорядитель зовет жениха
10and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when [men] have drunk freely, [then] that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.
10и говорит ему: всякий человек подает сперва хорошее вино, а когда напьются, тогда худшее; а ты хорошее вино сберег доселе.
11This beginning of his signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
11Так положил Иисус начало чудесам в Кане Галилейскойи явил славу Свою; и уверовали в Него ученики Его.
12After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and [his] brethren, and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.
12После сего пришел Он в Капернаум, Сам и Матерь Его, и братья его, и ученики Его; и там пробыли немного дней.
13And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
13Приближалась Пасха Иудейская, и Иисус пришел в Иерусалим
14And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
14и нашел, что в храме продавали волов, овец и голубей, и сидели меновщики денег.
15and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
15И, сделав бич из веревок, выгнал из храма всех, также и овец и волов; и деньги у меновщиков рассыпал, а столы их опрокинул.
16and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
16И сказал продающим голубей: возьмите это отсюда и дома Отца Моего не делайте домом торговли.
17His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up.
17При сем ученики Его вспомнили, что написано: ревность по доме Твоем снедает Меня.
18The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
18На это Иудеи сказали: каким знамением докажешь Ты нам, что имеешь власть так поступать?
19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
19Иисус сказал им в ответ: разрушьте храм сей, и Я в три дня воздвигну его.
20The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
20На это сказали Иудеи: сей храм строился сорок шесть лет, и Ты в три дня воздвигнешь его?
21But he spake of the temple of his body.
21А Он говорил о храме тела Своего.
22When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
22Когда же воскрес Он из мертвых, то ученики Его вспомнили, что Он говорил это, и поверили Писанию и слову, которое сказал Иисус.
23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did.
23И когда Он был в Иерусалиме на празднике Пасхи, томногие, видя чудеса, которые Он творил, уверовали во имя Его.
24But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,
24Но Сам Иисус не вверял Себя им, потому что знал всех
25and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
25и не имел нужды, чтобы кто засвидетельствовал о человеке, ибо Сам знал, что в человеке.
