1A [Psalm] of David. I will give thee thanks with my whole heart: Before the gods will I sing praises unto thee.
1(137:1) Давида. Славлю Тебя всем сердцем моим, пред богами пою Тебе.
2I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
2(137:2) Поклоняюсь пред святым храмом Твоим и славлю имя Твое за милость Твою и за истину Твою, ибо Ты возвеличил слово Твое превыше всякого имени Твоего.
3In the day that I called thou answeredst me, Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.
3(137:3) В день, когда я воззвал, Ты услышал меня, вселил в душу мою бодрость.
4All the kings of the earth shall give thee thanks, O Jehovah, For they have heard the words of thy mouth.
4(137:4) Прославят Тебя, Господи, все цари земные, когда услышат слова уст Твоих
5Yea, they shall sing of the ways of Jehovah; For great is the glory of Jehovah.
5(137:5) и воспоют пути Господни, ибо велика слава Господня.
6For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar.
6(137:6) Высок Господь: и смиренного видит, и гордого узнает издали.
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will save me.
7(137:7) Если я пойду посреди напастей, Ты оживишь меня, прострешь на ярость врагов моих руку Твою, и спасет меня десница Твоя.
8Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.
8(137:8) Господь совершит за меня! Милость Твоя, Господи, вовек: делорук Твоих не оставляй.
