1(79:1) Начальнику хора. На музыкальном орудии Шошанним-Эдуф. Псалом Асафа. (79:2) Пастырь Израиля! внемли; водящий, как овец, Иосифа, восседающий на Херувимах, яви Себя.
2Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy might, And come to save us.
2(79:3) Пред Ефремом и Вениамином и Манассиею воздвигни силу Твою, иприди спасти нас.
3Turn us again, O God; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
3(79:4) Боже! восстанови нас; да воссияет лице Твое, и спасемся!
4O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
4(79:5) Господи, Боже сил! доколе будешь гневен к молитвам народа Твоего?
5Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure.
5(79:6) Ты напитал их хлебом слезным, и напоил их слезами в большой мере,
6Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors; And our enemies laugh among themselves.
6(79:7) положил нас в пререкание соседям нашим, и враги наши издеваются над нами .
7Turn us again, O God of hosts; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
7(79:8) Боже сил! восстанови нас; да воссияет лице Твое, и спасемся!
8Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt: Thou didst drive out the nations, and plantedst it.
8(79:9) Из Египта перенес Ты виноградную лозу, выгнал народы и посадил ее;
9Thou preparedst [room] before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land.
9(79:10) очистил для нее место, и утвердил корни ее, и она наполнила землю.
10The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were [like] cedars of God.
10(79:11) Горы покрылись тенью ее, и ветви ее как кедры Божии;
11It sent out its branches unto the sea, And its shoots unto the River.
11(79:12) она пустила ветви свои до моря и отрасли свои до реки.
12Why hast thou broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it?
12(79:13) Для чего разрушил Ты ограды ее, так что обрывают ее все, проходящие по пути?
13The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, And the wild beasts of the field feed on it.
13(79:14) Лесной вепрь подрывает ее, и полевой зверь объедает ее.
14Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine,
14(79:15) Боже сил! обратись же, призри с неба, и воззри, и посети виноград сей;
15And the stock which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
15(79:16) охрани то, что насадила десница Твоя, и отрасли, которые Тыукрепил Себе.
16It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
16(79:17) Он пожжен огнем, обсечен; от прещения лица Твоего погибнут.
17Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, Upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
17(79:18) Да будет рука Твоя над мужем десницы Твоей, над сыном человеческим, которого Ты укрепил Себе,
18So shall we not go back from thee: Quicken thou us, and we will call upon thy name.
18(79:19) и мы не отступим от Тебя; оживи нас, и мы будем призывать имя Твое.
19Turn us again, O Jehovah God of hosts; Cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
19(79:20) Господи, Боже сил! восстанови нас; да воссияет лице Твое, и спасемся!
