¹And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

¹A zase som pozdvihol svoje oči a videl som a hľa, štyri vozy vychádzaly zpomedzi dvoch vrchov, a vrchy boly vrchy z medi.

²In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;

²V prvom voze boly červené kone; v druhom voze boly vrané kone;

³and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses.

³v treťom voze boly biele kone a v štvrtom voze boly strakaté kone silné.

⁴Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

⁴A odpovedal som a riekol anjelovi, ktorý hovoril so mnou: Čo sú tieto veci, môj pane?

⁵And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

⁵A anjel odpovedal a riekol mi: Toto sú štyri nebeské vetry, ktoré vychádzajú, keď sa boly postavily pred Pánom celej zeme.

⁶[The chariot] wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country.

⁶V ktorom sú vrané kone, tie idú von do zeme severa, biele vyšly za nimi, a strakaté vyšly do zeme na juhu,

⁷And the strong went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

⁷a tie silné vyšly a hľadaly možnosť ísť, aby chodily sem a ta po zemi. A riekol: Iďte a choďte sem a ta po zemi. A tak chodily sem a ta po zemi.

⁸Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

⁸A skríknuc zavolal na mňa, hovoril so mnou a riekol: Vidz tie, ktoré vyšly a idú ta do zeme severa, upokoja môjho ducha v zemi severa.

⁹And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

⁹A stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo ku mne povediac:

¹⁰Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;

¹⁰Vezmi od presídlených zajatých, od Cheldaja, od Tobiáša a od Jedaiáša, a prijdeš ty toho istého dňa a vojdeš do domu Joziáša, syna Sofoniášovho, kam prišli z Babylona,

¹¹yea, take [of them] silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

¹¹a vezmeš striebro a zlato a spravíš koruny a položíš na hlavu Jozuu, syna Jehocadákovho, najväčšieho kňaza,

¹²and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;

¹²a povieš mu: Takto hovorí Hospodin Zástupov: Hľa, muž, ktorého meno bude Cemach, a ktorý vyrastie zo svojho miesta, vystaví chrám Hospodinov.

¹³even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

¹³On vystaví chrám Hospodinov a on ponesie veličenstvo a sadne a bude panovať na svojom tróne a bude kňazom na svojom tróne, a rada pokoja bude medzi nimi obidvoma.

¹⁴And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

¹⁴A koruny budú Chelemovi, Tobiášovi a Jedaiášovi a Chénovi, synovi Sofoniášovmu, na pamiatku v chráme Hospodinovom.

¹⁵And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

¹⁵A ďalekí prijdú a budú staväť na chráme Hospodinovom, a tak zviete, že Hospodin Zástupov ma poslal k vám. A stane sa, ak naozaj budete poslúchať na hlas Hospodina, svojho Boha.
