1For the Chief Musician; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer.
1தேவனே, என் கூப்பிடுதலைக் கேட்டு, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கவனியும்.
2From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
2என் இருதயம் தொய்யும்போது பூமியின் கடையாந்தரத்திலிருந்து உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; எனக்கு எட்டாத உயரமான கன்மலையில் என்னைக் கொண்டுபோய்விடும்.
3For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.
3நீர் எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், சத்துருவுக்கு எதிரே பெலத்த துருகமுமாயிருந்தீர்.
4I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah
4நான் உம்முடைய கூடாரத்தில் சதாகாலமும் தங்குவேன்; உமது செட்டைகளின் மறைவிலே வந்து அடைவேன். (சேலா)
5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.
5தேவனே, நீர் என் பொருத்தனைகளைக் கேட்டீர்; உமது நாமத்திற்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களின் சுதந்தரத்தை எனக்குத் தந்தீர்.
6Thou wilt prolong the king's life; His years shall be as many generations.
6ராஜாவின் நாட்களோடே நாட்களைக் கூட்டுவீர்; அவர் வருஷங்கள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்.
7He shall abide before God for ever: Oh prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
7அவர் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பார்; தயையும் உண்மையும் அவரைக் காக்கக் கட்டளையிடும்.
8So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, That I may daily perform my vows.
8இப்படியே தினமும் என் பொருத்தனைகளை நான் செலுத்தும்படியாக, உமது நாமத்தை என்றைக்கும் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்.
