¹For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthan. A Psalm of David. My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him [cometh] my salvation.

¹தேவனையே நோக்கி என் ஆத்துமா அமர்ந்திருக்கிறது; அவரால் என் இரட்சிப்பு வரும்.

²He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved.

²அவரே என் கன்மலையும், என் இரட்சிப்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமானவர்; நான் அதிகமாய் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

³How long will ye set upon a man, That ye may slay [him], all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

³நீங்கள் எதுவரைக்கும் ஒரு மனுஷனுக்குத் தீங்குசெய்ய நினைப்பீர்கள், நீங்கள் அனைவரும் சங்கரிக்கப்படுவீர்கள், சாய்ந்த மதிலுக்கும் இடிந்த சுவருக்கும் ஒப்பாவீர்கள்.

⁴They only consult to thrust him down from his dignity; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah

⁴அவனுடைய மேன்மையிலிருந்து அவனைத் தள்ளும்படிக்கே அவர்கள் ஆலோசனைபண்ணி, அபத்தம்பேச விரும்புகிறார்கள்; தங்கள் வாயினால் ஆசீர்வதித்து, தங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் சபிக்கிறார்கள். (சேலா)

⁵My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him.

⁵என் ஆத்துமாவே, தேவனையே நோக்கி அமர்ந்திரு; நான் நம்புகிறது அவராலே வரும்.

⁶He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be moved.

⁶அவரே என் கன்மலையும், என் இரட்சிப்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமானவர்; நான் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

⁷With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

⁷என் இரட்சிப்பும், என் மகிமையும் தேவனிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; பெலனான என் கன்மலையும் என் அடைக்கலமும் தேவனுக்குள் இருக்கிறது.

⁸Trust in him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah

⁸ஜனங்களே, எக்காலத்திலும் அவரை நம்புங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தில் உங்கள் இருதயத்தை ஊற்றிவிடுங்கள்; தேவன் நமக்கு அடைக்கலமாயிருக்கிறார். (சேலா)

⁹Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: In the balances they will go up; They are together lighter than vanity.

⁹கீழ்மக்கள் மாயையும், மேன்மக்கள் பொய்யுமாமே; தராசிலே வைக்கப்பட்டால் அவர்களெல்லாரும் மாயையிலும் லேசானவர்கள்.

¹⁰Trust not in oppression, And become not vain in robbery: If riches increase, set not your heart [thereon].

¹⁰கொடுமையை நம்பாதிருங்கள்; கொள்ளையினால் பெருமைபாராட்டாதிருங்கள்; ஐசுவரியம் விருத்தியானால் இருதயத்தை அதின்மேல் வைக்காதேயுங்கள்.

¹¹God hath spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongeth unto God.

¹¹தேவன் ஒருதரம் விளம்பினார், இரண்டுதரம் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன்; வல்லமை தேவனுடையது என்பதே.

¹²Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth lovingkindness; For thou renderest to every man according to his work.

¹²கிருபையும் உம்முடையது, ஆண்டவரே! தேவரீர் அவனவன் செய்கைக்குத் தக்கதாகப் பலனளிக்கிறீர்.
