1Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the lovingkindness of Jehovah for ever: With my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
1கர்த்தரின் கிருபைகளை என்றென்றைக்கும் பாடுவேன்; உமது உண்மையைத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என் வாயினால் அறிவிப்பேன்.
2For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever; Thy faithfulness wilt thou establish in the very heavens.
2கிருபை என்றென்றைக்கும் ஸ்திரப்பட்டிருக்கும்; உமது உண்மையை வானங்களிலே ஸ்தாபிப்பீர் என்றேன்.
3I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant:
3என்னால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவனோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணி, என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதை நோக்கி:
4Thy seed will I establish for ever, And build up thy throne to all generations. Selah
4என்றென்றைக்கும் உன் சந்ததியை நிலைப்படுத்தி, தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக உன் சிங்காசனத்தை ஸ்தாபிப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டேன் என்றீர். (சேலா)
5And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Jehovah; Thy faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
5கர்த்தாவே, வானங்கள் உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களைத் துதிக்கும், பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சபையிலே உம்முடைய உண்மையும் விளங்கும்.
6For who in the skies can be compared unto Jehovah? Who among the sons of the mighty is like unto Jehovah,
6ஆகாயமண்டலத்தில் கர்த்தருக்கு நிகரானவர் யார்? பலவான்களின் புத்திரரில் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?
7A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be feared above all them that are round about him?
7தேவன் பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய ஆலோசனைச் சபையில் மிகவும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர், தம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிற அனைவராலும் அஞ்சப்படத்தக்கவர்.
8O Jehovah God of hosts, Who is a mighty one, like unto thee, O Jehovah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.
8சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப்போல் வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் யார்? உம்முடைய உண்மை உம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறது.
9Thou rulest the pride of the sea: When the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
9தேவரீர் சமுத்திரத்தின் பெருமையை ஆளுகிறவர்; அதின் அலைகள் எழும்பும்போது அவைகளை அடங்கப்பண்ணுகிறீர்.
10Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.
10நீர் ராகாபை வெட்டுண்ட ஒருவனைப்போல் நொறுக்கினீர்; உமது வல்லமையான புயத்தினால் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்களைச் சிதறடித்தீர்.
11The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: The world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
11வானங்கள் உம்முடையது, பூமியும் உம்முடையது, பூலோகத்தையும் அதிலுள்ள யாவரையும் நீரே அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தினீர்.
12The north and the south, thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon rejoice in thy name.
12வடக்கையும் தெற்கையும் நீர் உண்டாக்கினீர்; தாபோரும் எர்மோனும் உம்முடைய நாமம் விளங்கக் கெம்பீரிக்கும்.
13Thou hast a mighty arm; Strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
13உமக்கு வல்லமையுள்ள புயமிருக்கிறது; உம்முடைய கரம் பராக்கிரமமுள்ளது; உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் உன்னதமானது.
14Righteousness and justice are the foundation of thy throne: Lovingkindness and truth go before thy face.
14நீதியும் நியாயமும் உம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் ஆதாரம்; கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடக்கும்.
15Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: They walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.
15கெம்பீரசத்தத்தை அறியும் ஜனங்கள் பாக்கியமுள்ளவர்கள்; கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உம்முடைய முகத்தின் வெளிச்சத்தில் நடப்பார்கள்.
16In thy name do they rejoice all the day; And in thy righteousness are they exalted.
16அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நாமத்தில் நாடோறும் களிகூர்ந்து, உம்முடைய நீதியால் உயர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்.
17For thou art the glory of their strength; And in thy favor our horn shall be exalted.
17நீரே அவர்கள் பலத்தின் மகிமையாயிருக்கிறீர்; உம்முடைய தயவினால் எங்கள் கொம்பு உயரும்.
18For our shield belongeth unto Jehovah; And our king to the Holy One of Israel.
18கர்த்தரால் எங்கள் கேடகமும், இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தரால் எங்களுடைய ராஜாவும் உண்டு.
19Then thou spakest in vision to thy saints, And saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
19அப்பொழுது நீர் உம்முடைய பக்தனுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி: சகாயஞ்செய்யத்தக்க சக்தியை ஒரு சவுரியவான்மேல் வைத்து, ஜனத்தில் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவனை உயர்த்தினேன்.
20I have found David my servant; With my holy oil have I anointed him:
20என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன்; என் பரிசுத்த தைலத்தினால் அவனை அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினேன்.
21With whom my hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.
21என் கை அவனோடே உறுதியாயிருக்கும்; என் புயம் அவனைப் பலப்படுத்தும்.
22The enemy shall not exact from him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
22சத்துரு அவனை நெருக்குவதில்லை; நியாயக்கேட்டின் மகன் அவனை ஒடுக்குவதில்லை.
23And I will beat down his adversaries before him, And smite them that hate him.
23அவன் சத்துருக்களை அவனுக்கு முன்பாக மடங்கடித்து, அவனைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை வெட்டுவேன்.
24But my faithfulness and my lovingkindness shall be with him; And in my name shall his horn be exalted.
24என் உண்மையும் என் கிருபையும் அவனோடிருக்கும்; என் நாமத்தினால் அவன் கொம்பு உயரும்.
25I will set his hand also on the sea, And his right hand on the rivers.
25அவன் கையைச் சமுத்திரத்தின்மேலும், அவன் வலது கரத்தை ஆறுகள்மேலும் ஆளும்படி வைப்பேன்.
26He shall cry unto me, Thou art my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.
26அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: நீர் என் பிதா, என் தேவன், என் இரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையென்று சொல்லுவான்.
27I also will make him [my] first-born, The highest of the kings of the earth.
27நான் அவனை எனக்கு முதற்பேறானவனும், பூமியின் ராஜாக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் மகா உயர்ந்தவனுமாக்குவேன்.
28My lovingkindness will I keep for him for evermore; And my covenant shall stand fast with him.
28என் கிருபையை என்றென்றைக்கும் அவனுக்காகக் காப்பேன்; என் உடன்படிக்கை அவனுக்காக உறுதிப்படுத்தப்படும்.
29His seed also will I make to endure for ever, And his throne as the days of heaven.
29அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அவன் ராஜாசனம் வானங்களுள்ளமட்டும் நிலைநிற்கவும் செய்வேன்.
30If his children forsake my law, And walk not in mine ordinances;
30அவன் பிள்ளைகள் என் நியாயங்களின்படி நடவாமல், என் வேதத்தை விட்டு விலகி;
31If they break my statutes, And keep not my commandments;
31என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல் என் நியமங்களை மீறி நடந்தால்;
32Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.
32அவர்கள் மீறுதலை மிலாற்றினாலும், அவர்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை வாதைகளினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்.
33But my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, Nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
33ஆனாலும் என் கிருபையை அவனை விட்டு விலக்காமலும், என் உண்மையில் பிசகாமலும் இருப்பேன்.
34My covenant will I not break, Nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
34என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறாமலும், என் உதடுகள் விளம்பினதை மாற்றாமலும் இருப்பேன்.
35Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David:
35ஒருவிசை என் பரிசுத்தத்தின்பேரில் ஆணையிட்டேன், தாவீதுக்கு நான் பொய்சொல்லேன்.
36His seed shall endure for ever, And his throne as the sun before me.
36அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்; அவன் சிங்காசனம் சூரியனைப்போல எனக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்கும்.
37It shall be established for ever as the moon, And [as] the faithful witness in the sky. Selah
37சந்திரனைப்போல அது என்றென்றைக்கும் உறுதியாயும், ஆகாயமண்டலத்துச் சாட்சியைப்போல் உண்மையாயும் இருக்கும் என்று விளம்பினீர். (சேலா)
38But thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
38ஆனாலும் நீர் எங்களை வெறுத்துத் தள்ளிவிட்டீர்; நீர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணுவித்தவன்மேல் உக்கிரமானீர்.
39Thou hast abhorred the covenant of thy servant: Thou hast profaned his crown [by casting it] to the ground.
39உமது அடியானுடன் நீர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையை ஒழித்துவிட்டு, அவன் கிரீடத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி அவமானப்படுத்தினீர்.
40Thou hast broken down all his hedges; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
40அவன் மதில்களையெல்லாம் தகர்த்துப்போட்டு, அவன் அரணான ஸ்தலங்களைப் பாழாக்கினீர்.
41All that pass by the way rob him: He is become a reproach to his neighbors.
41வழிநடக்கிற யாவரும் அவனைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்; தன் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையானான்.
42Thou hast exalted the right hand of his adversaries; Thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
42அவன் சத்துருக்களின் வலது கையை நீர் உயர்த்தி, அவன் விரோதிகள் யாவரும் சந்தோஷிக்கும்படி செய்தீர்.
43Yea, thou turnest back the edge of his sword, And hast not made him to stand in the battle.
43அவன் பட்டயத்தின் கருக்கை மழுக்கிப்போட்டு, அவனை யுத்தத்தில் நிற்காதபடி செய்தீர்.
44Thou hast made his brightness to cease, And cast his throne down to the ground.
44அவன் மகிமையை அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணி, அவன் சிங்காசனத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளினீர்.
45The days of his youth hast thou shortened: Thou hast covered him with shame. Selah
45அவன் வாலிபநாட்களைக் குறுக்கி, அவனை வெட்கத்தால் மூடினீர். (சேலா)
46How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? [How long] shall thy wrath burn like fire?
46எதுவரைக்கும், கர்த்தாவே! நீர் என்றைக்கும் மறைந்திருப்பீரோ? உமது கோபம் அக்கினியைப்போல எரியுமோ?
47Oh remember how short my time is: For what vanity hast thou created all the children of men!
47என் ஜீவன் எவ்வளவு நிலையற்றது என்பதை நினைத்தருளும்; மனுபுத்திரர் யாவரையும் வீணாகச் சிருஷ்டிக்கவேண்டியதென்ன?
48What man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah
48மரணத்தைக் காணாமல் உயிரோடிருப்பவன் யார்? தன் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாள வல்லடிக்கு விலக்கிவிடுகிறவன் யார்? (சேலா)
49Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, Which thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?
49ஆண்டவரே, நீர் தாவீதுக்கு உம்முடைய உண்மையைக்கொண்டு சத்தியம்பண்ணின உமது பூர்வ கிருபைகள் எங்கே?
50Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; How I do bear in my bosom [the reproach of] all the mighty peoples,
50ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரையும், நீர் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினவனின் காலடிகளையும் நிந்திக்கிறபடியினால்,
51Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Jehovah, Wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
51கர்த்தாவே, உமது அடியார் சுமக்கும் நிந்தையையும், வலுமையான ஜனங்களெல்லாராலும் நான் என் மடியில் சுமக்கும் என் நிந்தையையும் நினைத்தருளும்.
52Blessed be Jehovah for evermore. Amen, and Amen. BOOK IV
