1भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, अब हम अपने पर्भू ईसू मसीह क फिन स अवाई अउर ओकरे साथे आपस मँ एकट्ठा होइ क बारे मँ निवेदन करत अही
1Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him;
2कि तू अचानक अपने विवेक क कउनो भविस्सबाणी कउनो उपदेस अउर कउनो अइसेन चिट्ठ स न खोवा जेकॉ हमरे द्वारा लिखा गवा समझा जात होइ अउर तथाकथित रुप स जेहमाँ बतावा गवा होई कि पर्भू क दिन आई चुका अहइ, तू अपने मने मँ डावॉडोल जिन ह्वा।
2to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand;
3तू पचे अपने आपके कउनो क द्वारा कउनउ प्रकार छला न जाइ सका। मइँ अइसेन एह बरे कहत हउँ काहेकि उ दिन ओह समइ तक न आई जब तक कि परमेस्सर स मुँह मोड़ लेइ क समइ नहीं आई जात, अउर दुस्ट मनइ परगट नाहीं होइ जात। ओह दुस्ट-मनइ क नियति तउ नरक बा।
3let no man beguile you in any wise: for [it will not be,] except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
4उ अपने क सब चीज स उप्पर कही अउर ओनकर विरोध करी अइसेन चीजन का परमेस्सर का कही जात हीं अउर जउन पूजनीय बा। इहाँ तक कि परमेस्सर क मंदिर मँ जाइ क सिंहासन पर बइठिके इ दावा करी कि उहइ परमेस्सर बा।
4he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God.
5का तोहे याद नाहीं बा कि जब मइँ तोहरे साथे रहे तउ तोहे इ सब बतावा गवा रहा
5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6अउत तू तउ अबइ जनतइ अहा कि ओका का अबहीं परगट होइ स रोके अहइ, ताकि उ ऊचित अवसर आए पर ही परगट होइ।
6And now ye know that which restraineth, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.
7मइँ अइसेन एह बरे कहत हउँ काहेकि दुस्ट मनइ क रहस्य भरी सक्ती जउन बे व्यवस्था क अहइ अबहुँ आपन काम करत बा। अब केउ ऐका रोक रहा बा अउर उ तब तक ऐका रोकत रही, जब तलक, ओका रोके रखइबाले क रस्ता स हटाई न दीन्ह जाइ।
7For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only [there is] one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way.
8तबइ उ दुस्ट मनइ परगट होई जब पर्भू ईसू आपन महिमा मँ फिन परगट होई तब ओका पर्भू ईसू अपने मुँह क फँूक स मार डाईगा अउर अपने उपस्थिति क तेज स ओका भस्म कर देई।
8And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming;
9ओह दुस्ट मनइ सइतान क सक्ती स परगट होइ अउर उ बहुत बड़ी सक्ती, झूठे चमत्कारन, अद्भुत चिन्हन अउर अचरजे कारजन,
9[even he], whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10अउर सब परकार क पाप स भरा छल-परपंच स भरा होइ। उ एनकर उपयोग मनइय क विरुद्ध करी जउन सर्वनासे क रस्ता मँ खोवा हवा अहइँ। उ भटक गवा हयेन काहेकि ओन्हन सत्य स पिरेम नाहीं किहे बाटेन, कहूँ ओनकर उद्धार न होइ जाइ।
10and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11इही बरे परमेस्सर ओहमन एक छली सक्ती क काम मँ कई देई जेहसे उ झूठ मँ बिसवास करइ लाग रहेन। एहसे ओनकर बिसवास जउन झूठ बा, ओह पर होई।
11And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:
12एहसे उ सभन जे सत्य पर बिसवास नाहीं किहेन अउर झूठ मँ आनन्द लेत रहेन, दण्ड पइहीं।
12that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, पर्भू तोहका पियार करत ह। तोहरे पचन क बरे हमका हमेसा परमेस्सर क धन्यबाद करइ चाही काहेकि परमेस्सर तउ आतिमा क द्वारा तोहे सबन क पवित्तर कइक अउर सत्य मँ तोहरे बिसवास क कारण उद्धार पावइ क बरे तोहे सबन क चुने अहइ। जेन्हन मनइयन क उद्धार होइ क बा, तू ओह सबन क पहिली फसल क एक हींसा अहा।
13But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14अउर इही उद्धार क बरे जेका सुसमाचार क हम तोहे सबन क उपदेस दिहे हई ओकरे द्वारा परमेस्सर तउ तोहे पचन क बोलाएस ताकि तू पचे हमार पर्भू ईसू मसीह क महिमा क धारण कइ सका।
14whereunto he called you through our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15इही बरे भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, अटल बना रहा अउर जउन उपदेस तोहे मौखिक रुप स या हमरे चिटिवयन क द्वारा दीन्ह गवा रहा, ओका थामे रखा।
15So then, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye were taught, whether by word, or by epistle of ours.

16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

17comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
