1भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, समइ अउर तिथियन क बारे मँ तोहे लिखइ क कउनउ जरूरत नाहीं बा
1But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.
2काहेकि तू खुदई बहुत अच्छी तरह जानत ह कि जइसे चोर रस्ता स चुप्पे चला आवत ह, वइसेन ही पर्भू क फिन स लउटइ क दिन भी आइ जइहीं।
2For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.
3जब लोग कहत होइहीं कि “सब कछू सांत अउर सुरच्छित बा” तबइ जइसे एक गर्भवती स्त्री क अचानक प्रसव वेदना आइ घेरत ह वइसेन ही ओह पर बिनास उत्तर आइ अउर उ कहूँ बचिके भाग न पावइ।
3For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.
4मुला भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, तू अँधियारे (पाप) क वासी नाहीं अहा कि तोह पर उ दिन अचानक ही चोर की नाई आइ जाइ।
4But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.
5तू सब तउ प्रकास (भलाई) स जुड़ा अहा अउर दिन क संतान स भी। हम न तउ रात या अँधियारा (बुराई) जुड़ा हई।
5You are all children of light, and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,
6इही बरे हमका अउरन क नाई सोवत रहत न चाही, बल्कि सावधानी क साथे हमका तउ अपने प नियन्त्रण रखइ चाहीं।
6so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
7काहेकि जउन सोवत हीं, रात मँ सोवत ही अउर जउन नसा करत हीं, उ रात मँ ही मदमस्त होत हीं।
7For those who sleep, sleep in the night, and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.
8मुला हम पचे तउ दिने (भलाई) स जुरा हई इही बरे हमका अपने प काबू रखई चाही। आवा बिसवास अउर पिरेम क चिलम धारण कइ लेई अउर उद्धार पावई क आसा क सिरस्त्राण क तरह ओढ़ि लेई।
8But let us, since we belong to the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and, for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9[This verse may not be a part of this translation]
9For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10ईसू तउ हमरे बरे परान तियाग दिहेस ताकि चाहे हम सजीव ओकरे संग होई, इ जरूरी नाहीं कि जब उ आवइ हम जिअत या मरा रही।
10who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11इहीं बरे एक दुसरे क सुख पहुँचाव अउर एक दुसरे क आध्यात्मिक रूपे स मजबूत बनावत रहा। जइसेन कि तू करत अहा।
11Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.
12भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, हमार तोहसे निवेदन बा कि जउन लोग तोहरे बीच मेहनत करत हीं अउर पर्भू मँ जउन तोहे राह देखावत हीं, ओनकर आदर करत रहा।
12But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you,
13हमार तोहसे निवेदन बा कि ओनके कामे क कारण पिरेम क साथे ओन्हे पूरा आदर देत रहा। परस्पर सान्ति स रहा
13and to respect and honor them in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
14अउर भाइयन, हमार तोहसे निवेदन बा आलसियन क चेतावा, डरपोकन क प्रेरित करा, दीनन क सहायता मँ रुचि ल्या, सबके साथे-धीरज रखा।
14We exhort you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.
15देखत रहा केउ क बुराई क बदला बुराई स न द्या बल्कि सब जने हमेसा एक दुसरे क साथे भलाई करई क जतन करा।
15See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good, for one another, and for all.
16हमेसा आनन्दित रहा।
16Rejoice always.
17पराथना करब कबहुँ न छोड़ा।
17Pray without ceasing.
18हर परिस्थिति मँ परमेस्सर क धन्यबाद द्या, काहेकि मसीह ईसू मँ, तोहरे बरे परमेस्सर क इहइ इच्छा बाटइ।
18In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
199पवित्तर आतिमा क कार्य क दमन मत करत रहा।
19Don’t quench the Spirit.
20नबियन क संदेसन क कभउँ छोट न जान।
20Don’t despise prophesies.
21सब बातन क असलियत क परखा, जउन अच्छा बा, ओका ग्रहण किहे रहा
21Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.
22अउर हर तरह क बुराई स बचा रहा।
22Abstain from every form of evil.
23सान्ति क स्रोत परमेस्सर खुद तोहे पूरे तरह पवित्तर करी। पूरी तरह स ओनका समर्पित होई जा अउर तू अपने पूरा अस्तित्व अर्थात आतिमा, परान अउर देह क हमार पर्भू ईसू मसीह क अवाई तलक सब तरह स दोस रहित बनाए रखा।
23May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24उ परमेस्सर जे तोहे बोलाए अहइ, बिसवास क योग्ग बाटइ। निस्चय ही उ अइसनई करी।
24He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.
25भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, हमरे भी बरे पराथना करा।
25Brothers, pray for us.
26सब भाइयन अउर बहिनियन क पवित्तर चुम्मा स सत्कार करा।
26Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.
27तोहे पर्भू क सपथ दई क मइँ इ आग्रह करित ह कि इ चिठ्ठी क सब भाइयन क पढ़ाई क सुनावा जाइ।
27I solemnly command you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.
28हमार पर्भू ईसू मसीह क अनुग्रह तोहरे साथे रहइ।
28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
