¹अन्ताकिया क कलीसिया मँ कछू नबी अउर बरनाबस, समौन (नीगर) कहा जाइवाला समौन कुरेनी क लूकियुस, देस क चउथाई हींसा क राजा हेरोदेस क संग पालितयोसित मनाहेम अउर साऊल जइसे कछू सिच्छक रहेन।

¹Now in the assembly that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

²उ पचे जब उपवास करत भए पर्भू क आराधना मँ लाग रहेन, तबहिं पवित्तर आतिमा कहेस, “बरनाबास अउर साऊल क जउने काम बरे मइँ बोलाएउँ ह, ओका करइ बरे मोरे नीस्बत, ओनका अलगाइ द्या।”

²As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”

³तउ जब सिच्छक अउर नबी आपन उपवास अउर पराथना पूरी कइ चुकेन तउ उ पचे बरनाबास अउर साऊल प आपन हाथ धरेन अउर ओनका बिदा कइ दिहेन।

³Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

⁴पवित्तर आतिमा क जरिए पठए भए उ सबइ सिलूकिया गएऩ जहाँ स जहान मँ बइठिके उ पचे साइप्रस पहोंचेन।

⁴So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia. From there they sailed to Cyprus.

⁵फिन जब उ पचे सलमीस पहोंचेन तउ उ पचे यहूदियन क आराधनालय मँ परमेस्सर क बचन क प्रचार किहेन यूहन्ना सहायक क रूप मँ ओनकइ संग रहा।

⁵When they were at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. They had also John as their attendant.

⁶उ समूचइ द्वीप क जात्रा करत करत उ पचे पाफुस ताईं जाइ पहोंचेन। हुवाँ ओनका एक जादूगर मिला, उ झूठा नबी रहा। उ यहूदी क नाउँ रहा बार-ईसू।

⁶When they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar Jesus,

⁷उ एक बहोत बुद्धिमान पुरुस राज्यपाल सिरगियुस पौलुस क दोस्त रहा जउन फिन परमेस्सर क बचन सुनइ बरे बरनाबास अउर साऊल क बोलवाएस।

⁷who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of understanding. This man summoned Barnabas and Saul, and sought to hear the word of God.

⁸मुला इलीमास जादूगर ओनकइ खिलाफत किहेस (इ बार-ईसू क अनुवाद क नाउँ बा।) उ नगर-पति क बिसवास डुगावइ क जतन किहेस।

⁸But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn aside the proconsul from the faith.

⁹फिन साऊल जेका पौलुस भी कहा जात रहा, पवित्तर आतिमा स भरपूर होइके इलीमास प पैनी निगाह डारत भवा कहेस,

⁹But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fastened his eyes on him,

¹⁰“सबहिं तरह क छल अउर धूर्तताई स भरा, अरे सइतान क बेटहना, तू हर नेकी क दुस्मन अहा। का तू पर्भू क सोझ सच्चे राह क तोड़ब मरोड़ब न तजब्या?

¹⁰and said, “Full of all deceit and all cunning, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

¹¹अब लखा पर्भू क हाथन तोह प आइ पड़ा बा। तू आँधर होइ जाब्या अउर कछू समइ बरे सूरज तक भी नाहीं लख पउब्या।” तुरंतहि एक धूँध अउर अँधियारा होइ पइ छाइ गवा अउर एहर-ओहर टोवइ लाग कि कउनो हथवा धइके ओका चलावइ।

¹¹Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a season!” Immediately a mist and darkness fell on him. He went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

¹²तउ राज्यपाल, जउन कछू भवा रहा, जब ओका लखेस तउ उ बिसवास धरेस। उ पर्भू क बाबत उपदेसन स बहोत होइ गवा।

¹²Then the proconsul, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

¹³फिन पौलुस अउर ओकर संगी पाफुस स ऩाउ क जरिये पंफूलिया क पिरगा मँ आइ गएऩ। मुला यूहन्ना ओनका हुँवइ छोड़िके यरूसलेम लौटि आवा।

¹³Now Paul and his company set sail from Paphos, and came to Perga in Pamphylia. John departed from them and returned to Jerusalem.

¹⁴ओहर उ पचे आपन जात्रा प बढ़त भए पिरगा स पिसिदिया क नजदीक नगर अन्ताकिया मँ आइ गएन। फिन सबित क दिना यहूदी आराधनालय मँ जाइके बइठि गएऩ।

¹⁴But they, passing on from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia. They went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.

¹⁵मूसा क व्यवस्था क मुताबिक अउर नबियन क पोथी क पाठ कइ चुके क पाछे यहूदी आराधनालय क अधिकारियन ओनकइ लगे इ संदेसा कहवाइ पठएन, “भाइयो, मनइयन क उपदेसन देइ बरे तोहरे लगे कहइ क प्रोत्साहन क कउनो अउर बचन अहइ जउन ओका सुनावा।”

¹⁵After the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.”

¹⁶ऍह पइ पौलुस खड़ा भवा अउर आपन हाथ हिलावत भवा बोलइ लाग, “हे इस्राएल क मनइयो अउर परमेस्सर स डेराइवाले गैर यहूदियो, सुना:

¹⁶Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, “Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen.

¹⁷इ इस्राएल क मनइयन क परमेस्सर हमरे पूर्वजन क चुने रहा अउर जब हमार लोग मिस्र मँ ठहरा रहेन, उ ओनका महान बनाए रहा अउर आपन महान सक्ति स उ ओनका उ धरती स बाहेर निकारि लइ आवा रहा।

¹⁷The God of this people TR, NU add “Israel” chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they stayed as aliens in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm, he led them out of it.

¹⁸अउर लगभग चालीस बरिस तलक उ जंगल मँ ओनकइ मदद करत रहा।

¹⁸For a period of about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness.

¹⁹अउर कनान देस क सात जातियन क नास कइके उ धरती इस्राएल क मनइयन क वसीयत क रूप मँ दइ दिहेस।

¹⁹When he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land for an inheritance, for about four hundred fifty years.

²⁰इ सब कछू मँ लगभग साढ़े चार सौ बरिस लगेन। “ऍकरे पाछे समूएल नबी क समइ तलक उ ओनका अनेक निआव क न्यायकर्ता दिहेस।

²⁰After these things he gave them judges until Samuel the prophet.

²¹फिन उ पचे एक राजा क निवेदन किहेन, तउ परमेस्सर बिन्यामीन क गोत क एक मनई कीस क बेटवा साऊल क चालीस बरिस बरे ओनका दइ दिहेस।

²¹Afterward they asked for a king, and God gave to them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.

²²फिन साऊल क हटाइके उ ओनकइ राजा दाऊद क बनाएस जेकरे बारे मँ उ इ साच्छी दिहेस, ‘मइँ यिसै क बेटवा दाऊद क एक अइसे मनई क रूप मँ मिला ह, जउन मोरे मन क मुताबिक अहइ। जउन कछू मइँ ओसे करावइ चाहत हउँ, उ उ सब कछू क करी।’

²²When he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, to whom he also testified, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who will do all my will.’

²³“इ ही मनई क एक बंसज क आपन प्रण क मुताबिक इस्राएल मँ उद्धार करइया ईसू क रूप मँ लाइ चुका अहइ।

²³From this man’s seed, God has brought salvation TR, NU read “a Savior, Jesus” instead of “salvation” to Israel according to his promise,

²⁴ओकरे आवइ स पहिले यूहन्ना इस्राएल क सबहिं मनइयन मँ मनफिराव स बपतिस्मा क प्रचार करत अहइ।

²⁴before his coming, when John had first preached the baptism of repentance to Israel. TR, NU read “to all the people of Israel” instead of “to Israel”

²⁵यूहन्ना जब आपन काम क पूरा करइ क रहा, तउ उ कहेस रहा, ‘तू मोका जउन समुझत ह, मइँ उ नाहीं हउँ। मुला एक अइसा अहइ जउन मोरे पाछे आवत अहइ। मइँ जेकर पनही क फीतास खोलइ लायक भी नाहीं अहउँ।’

²⁵As John was fulfilling his course, he said, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. But behold, one comes after me the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.’

²⁶“भाइयो, इब्राहीम क सन्तानो अउर सच्चे परमेस्सर क आराधक गैर यहूदियो, उद्धार क इ सुसमाचार हमरे बरे ही पठवा ग अहइ।

²⁶Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

²⁷यरुसलेम मँ बसइयन अउर ओनकइ राजा लोगन ईसू क नाहीं पहिचानेन। अउर ओका दोखा ठहराइ दिहेन। इ तरह उ पचे नबी लोगन क उ बचन क पूरा किहन जेनकइ सबित क दिन पाठ कीन्ह जात ह।

²⁷For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they didn’t know him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him.

²⁸अउर जदि अपि ओनका ओकरे मउत क राजा क कउनो सबूत नाहीं मिला, तउ भी उ पचे पलातुस स ओका मरवाइ डावइ क माँग किहेन।

²⁸Though they found no cause for death, they still asked Pilate to have him killed.

²⁹“ओकरे बारे मँ जउन कछू लिखा रहा, जब उ पचे सब कछू क पूरा कइ चुकेन ओका ऋूस प स खाले उतारेन अउर एक कब्र मँ धइ दिहन।

²⁹When they had fulfilled all things that were written about him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a tomb.

³⁰मुला परमेस्सर ओका मरइ क पाछे फिन जीवित कइ दिहस।

³⁰But God raised him from the dead,

³¹अउर फिन जउन लोग गलील स यरुसलेम तलक ओकरे संग गएऩ, उ ओनकइ अगवा कइउ दिना ताईं परगट होत रहा। इ सबइ अब मनइयन बरे ओकर साच्छी अहइँ।

³¹and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.

³²“हम तोहका उ प्रण क बारे मँ सुसमाचार सुनावत अही जउन हमरे पूर्वजन क संग कीन्ह गइ रही।

³²We bring you good news of the promise made to the fathers,

³³ईसू क, मरि जाए क पाछे फिन जीवित कइके, ओनकइ संताने क बरे परमेस्सर उहइ सपथ क हमरे बरे पूरा किहेस ह। जइसा कि दूसर भजन संहिता मँ लिखा भी अहइ: ‘तु मोर पूत अहा, मइँ तोहका आजु ही जनम दिहेउँ ह।’ भजन संहिता 2:7

³³that God has fulfilled the same to us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second psalm, ‘You are my Son. Today I have become your father.’ Psalm 2:7

³⁴अउर उ ओका मरे भएऩ मँ जिआइ के उठाएस जेहॅसे नास होइ स पहिले ओका फिन स लौटब न होइ। उ इ तरह कहे रहा: ‘मइँ तोहका उ सबइ पवित्तर अउर न टरइ क असीस देब जेनका देइ क बचन मइँ दाऊद क दिहेउँ।’ यसायाह 55:3

³⁴“Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.’ Isaiah 55:3

³⁵इ तरह एक दूसर भजन मँ उ कहत ह: ‘तू आपन पवित्तर जने क नास क अनुभव नाहीं होइ दिहा।’ भजन संहिता 16:10

³⁵Therefore he says also in another psalm, ‘You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.’ Psalm 16:10

³⁶फिन दाऊद आपन जुग मँ परमेस्सर क प्रयोजन क मुताबिक आपन सेवा-काम पूरा कइके मर गवा, ओका ओकरे पूर्वजन क संग दफनाइ दीन्ह गवा अउर ओकर छय भवा।

³⁶For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid with his fathers, and saw decay.

³⁷मुला जेका परमेस्सर मरे भएऩ क बीच क जीवित कइके उठाएस, ओकर छय नाहीं भवा।

³⁷But he whom God raised up saw no decay.

⁴⁰तउ होसियार रहा, कहूँ नबियन जउन कछू कहे बाटेन, तू सबन प न घटइ:

⁴⁰Beware therefore, lest that come on you which is spoken in the prophets:

⁴¹“निन्दा करइया लोगो, लखा, होइके भउचक्का मरि जाब्या, काहेकि तोहरे जुग मँ एक कारज अइसा करत हउँ, जेकर चर्चा तलक प तोहका कबहुँ ह बिसवास होई।”‘ हबक्कूक 1:5

⁴¹‘Behold, you scoffers, and wonder, and perish; for I work a work in your days, a work which you will in no way believe, if one declares it to you.’” Habakkuk 1:5

⁴²पौलुस अउर बरनावास जब हुवाँ स जात रहेन मनइयन ओनसे अगले सबित क दिन अइसी ही अउर बातन बतावइ बरे पराथना किहेन।

⁴²So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

⁴³जब सभा खतम भइ तउ बहोत स यहूदियन अउर बहुत गैर यहूदी भक्तन पौलुस अउर बरनाबास क पाछा किहेन। पौलुस अउर बरनाबास ओनसे बातचीत करत भए बिनती किहेन कि उ सबइ परमेस्सर क अनुग्रह मँ बन रहइँ।

⁴³Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

⁴⁴अगले सबित क दिन तउ लगभग समूचा सहर ही पर्भू क बचन सुनइ बरे उमड़ि आवा।

⁴⁴The next Sabbath almost the whole city was gathered together to hear the word of God.

⁴⁵इ बड़का मनइयन क मजमा क जब यहूदियन लखेन तउ उ पचे बहोत जरि भुनि गएन अउर भद्दा सब्द क बइपरत भए पौलुस जउन कछु कहे रहा, ओकर खिलाफत करइ लागेन।

⁴⁵But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with jealousy, and contradicted the things which were spoken by Paul, and blasphemed.

⁴⁶मुला पौलुस अउर बरनाबास निडर होइके, “इ जरुरी रहा कि परमेस्सर क बचन पहिले तोका पढ़ावा जात मुला काहेकि तू पचे ओका नकारत अहा अउर तू सबइ आपन खुद क अनन्त जिन्नगी क जोग्ग नाहीं ठहरउत्या, तउ हम पचे अब गैर यहूदी लोग कइँती मुड़ि जात अही।

⁴⁶Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, “It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

⁴⁷काहेकि पर्भू हमका अइसि ही आग्या दिहे अहइ: ‘मइँ जोति बनाएउँ तोहका, ओनकइ बरे जउऩ नाहीं यहूदी, ताकि संसार के सब लोगन का उद्धार करइँ।”‘ यसायाह 49:6

⁴⁷For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’” Isaiah 49:6

⁴⁸गैर यहूदियन जब इ सुनेन तउ उ पचे बहोत खुस भएऩ अउर उ पचे पर्भू क बचन क सम्मान किहेन। फिन उ सबइ, जेनका अनन्त जिन्नगी पावइ बरे ठहरावा ग रहा, बिसवास धारण कइ लिहेन।

⁴⁸As the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God. As many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

⁴⁹इ रतह समूचइ पहँटा मँ पर्भू क बचन क प्रचार होत रहा।

⁴⁹The Lord’s word was spread abroad throughout all the region.

⁵⁰ओहर यहूदी लोग ऊँच कुले क धार्मिक स्त्रियन अउर सहर क मुड्ढ मनइयन क उसकाएन अउर पौलुस अउर बरनाबास क खिलाफ अत्याचार करब सुरू कइ दिहेन अउर दबाव डाइके ओनका आपन पहँटा स बाहेर निकरिवाइ दिहेन।

⁵⁰But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their borders.

⁵¹फिन पौलुस अउर बरनाबास ओनकइ खिलाफ आपन गोड़े क धूरि झारिके इकुनियुम क चला गएऩ।

⁵¹But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came to Iconium.

⁵²मुला अतीक मँ ओनकइ चेलन आनंद अउर पवित्तर आतिमा स भरपूर होत रहेन।

⁵²The disciples were filled with joy with the Holy Spirit.
