1अब अइसा भवा कि ईसू कहूँ पराथना करत रहा। जब उ पराथना खतम कइ चुका तउ ओकर एक चेला ओसे कहेस, “पर्भू हमका सिखावा कि हम पराथना कइसे करी। जइसा कि यूहन्ना आपन चेलन क सिखाए रहा।”
1It happened, that when he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.”
2ऍह पइ उ ओसे कहेस, “तू पराथना करा, तउ कहा: ‘परमपता, तोहार नाउँ पवित्तर होइ, आवइ तोहार राज्य
2He said to them, “When you pray, say, ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
3हर दिन क बरे जरूरी रोटी हमका द्या:
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4हमार अपराध छमा करा, काहेकि हमहूँ छमा कीन्ह ह आपन अपराधी क, कठिन परीच्छा मँ हमें जिन डावा।”‘
4 Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’”

5He said to them, “Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight, and tell him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,

6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,’
7अउर मान ल्या उ मनई भितरे स जवाब दिहस, ‘मोका तंग जिन करा, दुआर बंद होइ चुका अहइ बिछउना प मोरे साथ गदेलन अहइँ, एह बरे तोहका कछू देइ मँ खड़ा नाहीं होइ सकित।’
7 and he from within will answer and say, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give it to you’?
8मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ उ अगर न उठी अउर तोहका कछू न देई, मुला फिन भी काहेकि उ तोहार मीत बा, तउ तोहरे लगातार बे सरमाये क माँगत रहइ स उ खड़ा होई अउर तोहार जरूरत भर तोहका देई।
8 I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
9अउर एह बरे मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ माँगा, तोहका दीन्ह जाई ढूँढ़ा तू पउब्या खटखटावा, तोहरे बरे दुआर खोलि दीन्ह जाई।
9 “I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.
10काहके हर कउनो जउन माँगत ह, पावत ह। जउन ढूँढ़त ह, ओका मिलत ह। अउर जउन खटखटावत ह, ओकरे खातिर दुआर खोलि दीन्ह जात ह।
10 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
11तोहरे मँ अइसा बाप कउन होई जउन जदि ओकर बेटवा मछरी माँगइ, तउ मछरी क जगह प ओका कीरा थमाइ दीन्ह जाइ।
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
12अउर जदि उ अण्डा माँगइ तउ ओका बीछी दइ देइ।
12 Or if he asks for an egg, he won’t give him a scorpion, will he?
13तउ बुरा होत भवा जब तू जानत ह कि आपन गदेलन क उत्तिम भेंट कइसे दीन्ह जात हीं, तउ स्वर्गीय पिता जउन ओसे माँगत हीं, ओनका पवित्तर आतिमा केतना ढेरि क देई।”
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?”
14फिन ईसू जब एक गूँगा बनइ डावइवाली दुस्ट आतिमा क निकारत रहा तउ अइसा भवा कि जइसा ही दुस्ट आतिमा बाहेर निकरी, तउ उ गूँगा बोलइ लाग। भीड़ क मनई ऍसे बहोतइ अचरजे मँ पड़ि गएन।
14He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. It happened, when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the multitudes marveled.
15मुला ओहमाँ स कछू कहेन, “इ सइतान क सासक बाल्ज़ाबुल क मदद स दुस्ट आतिमन क खदेरत ह।”
15But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”
16मुला अउर मनइयन ओका परखइ बरे कउनो सरग क चीन्ह क माँग किहेन।
16Others, testing him, sought from him a sign from heaven.
17लेकिन ईसू जानत रहा कि ओनके मनवा मँ का बाटइ? उ ओनसे कहेस, “उ राज्य जेहमाँ आपन भीतर ही फूट परि जाइ, ओकर नास होइ जात ह अउर अइसे ही कउनो घरे क फूट परे प नास होइ जात ह।
17But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.
18जदि सइतान आपन खिलाफ होइ जाइ तउ ओकर राज्य कइसे टिक सकित ह इ मइँ तोहसे यह बरे पूछत हउँ काहेकि तू कहत ह कि मइँ बाल्ज़ाबुल क मदद स दुस्ट आतिमन क निकारत हउँ।
18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.
19मुला जदि मइँ बाल्ज़ाबुल क मदद स दुस्ट आतिमन क निकारत हउँ तउ तोहार मनवइयन ओनका केकरी मदद स निकारत ही? तउ तोहार आपन मनई ही तोहका गलत बतइहीं
19 But if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore will they be your judges.
20मुला जदि मइँ परमेस्सर क सक्ती स बुरी आतिमा को निकारत हउँ तउ इ साफ बा कि परमेस्सर क राज्य तू ताई आइ गवा अहइ।
20 But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come to you.
21“जब एक सक्तीसाली मनई पूरी तरह हथियार टेइके आपन घरे क रच्छा करत ह तउ ओकरे धन दौलत क रच्छा होत ह।
21 “When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe.
22मुला जब कबहूँ कउनो ओसे जिआदा बरिआर ओह प हमला कइके ओका हराइ देत ह तउ उ ओकरे सबहीं हथियारन क, जउने प ओका भरोसा रहा, ओसे छीन लेत ह अउर लूट क माल क उ पचे अपने दोस्तन मँ बाट लेत हीं।
22 But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.
23“जउन मोर संग नाहीं अहइँ, मोर खिलाफत मँ बाटेन। उ जउन मोरे संग बटोरत नाहीं अहइ, छितरइहीं।
23 “He that is not with me is against me. He who doesn’t gather with me scatters.
24“जब कउनो दुस्ट आतिमा कउनो मनई स बाहेर निकरत ह तउ अराम क ढूँढ़त सूखे ठउरन मँ स होत जात ह अउर जब ओका अराम नाहीं मिलत तउ उ कहत ह, ‘मइँ आपन उहइ जगह लौटब जहाँ स गइ हउँ।’
24 The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of the man, passes through dry places, seeking rest, and finding none, he says, ‘I will turn back to my house from which I came out.’
25अउर वापस जाइके उ ओका साफ सूथर अउर तरकीबे मँ बसी पावत ह।
25 When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.
26फिन उ जाइके आपन स भी जिआदा दुस्ट दूसर सात जिआदा दुस्ट आतिमन क हुवाँ लइ आवत ह। फिन उ सबइ ओहमाँ जाइके रहइ लागत हीं। इ तरह उ मनई क पाछे क दसा पहिले स जिआदा खराब होइ जात ह।”
26 Then he goes, and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”
27फिन अइसा भवा कि जइसे ही ईसू इ बातन कहेस, भिरिया मँ स एक स्त्री उठी चिल्लाइके बोली, “उ गरभ धन्य अहइ, जउन तोहका धारण किहेस ह। अउर उ चूची धन्य अहइ, जेका तू चुस्या ह।”
27It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice, and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!”
28ऍह प उ कहेस, “धन्य तउ मुला उ पचे बाटेन जउन परमेस्सर क बचन सुनत हीं अउन ओह प चलत हीं!”
28But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”
29जइसे जइसे भिरिया बढ़त रही, उ कहइ लाग, “इ एक दुस्ट पीढ़ी अहइ। इ कउनो अद्भुत चीन्हा लखइ चाहत ह। मुला ऍका योना क चीन्ह क अलावा अउर कउनो चीन्हा नाहीं दीन्ह जाइ।
29When the multitudes were gathering together to him, he began to say, “This is an evil generation. It seeks after a sign. No sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah, the prophet.
30काहेकि जइसे निनवे क मनइयन बरे योना चीन्हा बन गवा, वइसे ही इ पीढ़ी बरे मनई क पूत भी चीन्हा बनी।
30 For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will also the Son of Man be to this generation.
31दक्खिन क रानी निआव क दिन परगट होइके इ पीढ़ी क मनइयन क दोखी ठहराई, काहेकि उ धरती दूसर कोने स सुलैमान क गियान सुनइ बरे आइ अउर अब लखा हिआँ तउ कउनो सुलैमान स भी बड़कवा अहइ।
31 The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and will condemn them: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, one greater than Solomon is here.
32नीनावे क मनइयन निआव क दिना इ पीढ़ी क मनइयन क खिलाफ खड़ा होइके ओन पइ दोख लगइहीं काहेकि उ पचे योना क उपदेस क सुनिके मनफिराव करि लिहन ह। अउर देखा अब तउ योना स भी महान कउनो हिआँ नाहीं बा!
32 The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, one greater than Jonah is here.
33“दिया बारिके कउनो भी ओका कउनो छुपा ठउर या कउनो भाँड़ी क भीतर नाहीं राखत, मुला ओका डीबट प धरत ह जेहसे जउन भितरे आवइँ, ज्योति लखि सकइँ।
33 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.
34तोहरे देह क दिया तोहार आँखिन अहइँ, तउ जदि आँखी नीक अहइँ तउ समूची देह ज्योति स भरि गइ बाटइ मुला, जदि इ सबइ खराब अहइँ तउ तोहार देह अँधियार होइ जात ह।
34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness.
35तउ धियान राखा! कि तोहरे भीतर ज्योति अहइ, अँधियारा नाहीं।
35 Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness.
36एह बरे जदि तोहार समूची देह ज्योति स भरपूर अहइ अउर ऍकर कउनो भी अंग अँधियारा नाहीं तउ उ पूरी तरह अइसे चमकी मान ल्या कउनो दिया तोह पइ आपन किरण स प्रकासित होत ह।”
36 If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light.”
37ईसू जब आपन बात पूरी किहस तउ एक फरीसी ओसे अपने साथ खाइ बरे हठ किहेस। तउ उ भितरे जाइके खइया क खाइ बैठि गवा।
37Now as he spoke, a certain Pharisee asked him to dine with him. He went in, and sat at the table.
38मुला उ फरीसी जब इ देखेस कि खइया स पहिले उ आपन हाथ नाहीं धोएस तउ ओका बड़ा अचरज भवा।
38When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that he had not first washed himself before dinner.
39ऍह पइ पर्भू ओनसे कहेस, “अब लखा तू फरीसियन टाठी अउर खोरा क बस बाहेर स तउ माँजत ह मुला तोहरे भीरत लालच अउर दुस्टता भरी अहइ।
39The Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.
40अरे मूढ़ मनइयो! का जउन बाहरी अंग क बनाएस ह, उ भीतरी अंग क नाहीं बनाएस।
40 You foolish ones, didn’t he who made the outside make the inside also?
41ऍह बरे जउन कछू भितरे अहइ, ओका दीनन क दइ द्या। फिन तोहरे बरे सब कछू पवित्तर होइ जाइ।
41 But give for gifts to the needy those things which are within, and behold, all things will be clean to you.
42अरे फरीसियन! तोहका धिक्कार अहइ काहेकि तू आपन पुदीना अउर सुदाब बूटी अउर हर कउनो जरी बूटि क दसवाँ हींसा तउ चढ़ाइ देत ह मुला परमेस्सर बरे पिरेम अउर निआव क टारि देत ह। मुला इ बातन क तोहका उ बातन क बगैर टारि देइ क करइ चाही।
42 But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and the love of God. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
43अरे फरीसियन! तोहका धिक्कार अहइ। काहेकि तू सबइ आराधनालय मँ बहोत ही प्रमुख आसन चाहत बाट्या अउर बजारन मँ मान मर्जादा क संग पैलगी तोहका सोहात ह।
43 Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces.
44तोहका धिक्कार अहइ काहेकि तू पचे बिना कउनो चीन्हा क कब्र क नाई अहा जेह प मनई चलत हीं मुला उ सबइ नाहीं जानत हीं।”
44 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like hidden graves, and the men who walk over them don’t know it.”
45तब एक धरम सास्तिरि ईसू स कहेस, “गुरु, जब तू अइसी बातन कहत ह तउ हम भी बेज्जत होइत ह।”
45One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying this you insult us also.”
46ऍह प ईसू कहेस, “अरे धरम सास्तिरियो! तोहका धिक्कार अहइ। काहेकि तू सबइ मनइयन प अइसा बोझा लादे बाट्या जेका उठाउब मुस्किल अहइ। अउर तू खुद ओन बोझन क एक ठु अँगुरी भर स छुअइ नाहीं चाहत ह।
46He said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you load men with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won’t even lift one finger to help carry those burdens.
47तोहका धिक्कार अहइ काहेकि तू नबियन बरे मकबरा क बनवत ह, जेनकइ कतल कीन्ह गवा अउर ओनकर कतल करइया तोहार पूर्वजन रहेन।
47 Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48ऍसे तू सबइ इ देखावत ह कि तू आपन पूर्वजन क उ कामे क अँगीकार करत ह। काहेकि उ पचे तउ ओनका मारेन ह अउर तू पचे ओनकइ मकबरा क बनाया ह।
48 So you testify and consent to the works of your fathers. For they killed them, and you build their tombs.
49एह बरे परमेस्सर क गियान भी कहेस, ‘मइँ नबियन अउर प्रेरितन क भी ओनके लगे पठउब। फिन कछू क तो उ पचे मारि डइहीं अउर कछू क सजा देइहीं।’
49 Therefore also the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute,
50एह बरे संसार क सुरुआत स जेतॅना भी नबियन क लहू बहाइ दीन्ह ग अहइ, ओनकइ हिसाब इ पीढ़ी क मनइयन स चुकाइ जाइ।
50 that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51यानी हाबिल क कतल स लइके जकरयाह क कतल क हिसाब जउन परमेस्सर क मन्दिर अउर वेदी क बीच कीन्ह गवा रहा। हाँ, मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ इ पीढ़ी क मनइयन क ऍकरे बरे लेखा जोखा देइ क होइ।
51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.’ Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.
52“ओ धरम सास्तिरियो! तोहका धिक्कार अहइ, काहेकि तू सबइ गियान क कुंजी तउ लइ लिहा ह। मुला ओहमाँ न तउ खुद घुसि पाया अउर न घुसइ क कउनो जतन करत रह्या। ओनका भी तू अड़ंगा डाया जे अइसा करइ चाहेन।”
52 Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn’t enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered.”
53अउर फिन जब ईसू हुवाँ स चला गवा तउ उ सबइ धरम सास्तिरियन अउर फरीसियन ओसे घोर दुस्मनी राखइ लागेन। बहोत स बातन क बारे मँ ओसे सोझ सवाल करइ लागेन।
53As he said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be terribly angry, and to draw many things out of him;
54काहेकि उ सबइ ओका ओकर कही कउनो बात स घात करइ बरे टोहत रहेन।
54lying in wait for him, and seeking to catch him in something he might say, that they might accuse him.
