¹इ सबइ घटि जाइके पाछे पर्भू बहत्तर अउर मनइयन क तैनात किहस अउर फिन जउन जउन सहरन अउर ठिकानन प ओका खुद जाइके रहा, दुइ दुइ कइके उ ओनका उ आपन स अगवा पठएस।

¹Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of him literally, “before his face” into every city and place, where he was about to come.

²उ ओनसे बोला, “फसल खूब जिआदा बा, मुला काम क करइया मजूर कम अहइँ। एह बरे फसल क पर्भू स बिनती करा कि उ आपन फसल मँ मजूर पठवइ।

²Then he said to them, “The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest.

³जा अउर सुमिरत रहा, मइँ तोहका बिगवन क बीच भेड़ क मेमनन क नाईं पठवत अहउँ।

³ Go your ways. Behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.

⁴कउनो बटुआ आपन संग जिन ल्या, न थैला अउर न ही पनही। राहे मँ कउनो स पैलगी तलक जिन करा।

⁴ Carry no purse, nor wallet, nor sandals. Greet no one on the way.

⁵जउनो घरवा मँ जा, सब ते पहिले कहा, ‘इ घरवा क सान्ति मिलइ।’

⁵ Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’

⁶जदि हुवाँ कउनो सान्ति क मनई होई तउ तोहार सान्ति ओका मिली। मुला जदि उ मनई सान्ति क न होई तउ तोहार सान्ति लौटि आई।

⁶ If a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.

⁷जउन कछू उ पचे तोहका देइँ। ओका खात पिअत उहइ घरवा मँ ठहरा। काहेकि मजूरी प मजूर क हक अहइ। घर घर जिन फिरा।

⁷ Remain in that same house, eating and drinking the things they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Don’t go from house to house.

⁸अउर जब कबहूँ तू कउनो सहर मँ जा अउर उ सहर क मनई तोहार सुआगत करइँ तउ जउन कछू तोहका परसई, बस उहइ खा।

⁸ Into whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat the things that are set before you.

⁹उ सहर क बेरमियन क बीमार स जरटुट करा अउर ओनसे कहा, “परमेस्सर क राज्य तोहरे नगिचे आइ पहुँचा बा!’

⁹ Heal the sick who are therein, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you.’

¹⁰अउर जब कबहूँ तू कउनो अइसे सहर मँ जा जहाँ क मनई तोहार मानसम्मान न करइँ, तउ हुवाँ क गलियन मँ जाइके कहा,

¹⁰ But into whatever city you enter, and they don’t receive you, go out into its streets and say,

¹¹‘इ सहर क उ धूरि तलक जउन हमरे गोड़े मँ चिपकी रही, हम तोहरे खिलाफ हिआँ झार देत अही। फिन भी इ धियान रहइ कि परमेस्सर क राज्य नगिचे आइ गवा बा।’

¹¹ ‘Even the dust from your city that clings to us, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the Kingdom of God has come near to you.’

¹²मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ कि उ दिन उ सहर क लोगन स सदोम क लोगन क दसा कहूँ नीक होइ।

¹² I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

¹³“अरे खुराजीन, अरे बैतसैदा, तोहका धिक्कार अहइ काहेकि जउन अद्भुत कारजन तोहमाँ कीन्ह गएन, जदि ओनका सूर अउर सैदा मँ कीन्ह जात तउ न जानी कबहूँ उ टाट क कपरा पहिरि के राखि प बइठिके मनफिराव कइ लेतेन।

¹³ “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

¹⁴कछू भी होइ निआव क दिन सूर अउर सैदा क हालत तोहसे कहूँ नीक होई।

¹⁴ But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.

¹⁵अरे कफरनहूम का तू सर्ग क ऊँचाई क तरह ऊँचा उठब्या? तू तउ तरखाले नरक मँ जाब्या।

¹⁵ You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. Hades is the lower realm of the dead, or Hell.

¹⁶“चेलो! जउन कउनो तोहका सुनत ह, मोका सुनत ह, अउर जउन कउनो तोहका दुरियावत ह, उ मोका दुरियावत ह जउन मोका पठएस ह। अउर जउन मोका नकारत ह उ उसे नकारत ह जउन मोका पठएस ह।”

¹⁶ Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

¹⁷फिन उ सबइ बहत्तर आनन्दित होइके वापस लउटेन अउर बोलेन, “हे पर्भू, दुस्ट आतिमन तलक तोहरे नाउँ मँ हमार हुकुम मानत हीं!”

¹⁷The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

¹⁸ऍह पइ ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “मइँ सइतान क अकास स बिजरी क नाईं गिरत लखेउँ ह।

¹⁸He said to them, “I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.

¹⁹सुना, कीरा अउर बीछी क गोड़े तरे रौंदब अउर सइतान क समूची सक्ती प हावी होइ क सामर्थ मइँ तोहका दिहे अही। तोहका कउनो नसकान नाहीं पहुँचाइ पाई।

¹⁹ Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

²⁰मुला इ बात प खुस जिन ह्वा कि आतिमन तोहरे बसे मँ अहइँ बल्कि एह पइ खुस होइ जा कि तोहार नाउँ सरगे मँ लिखा बाटइ।”

²⁰ Nevertheless, don’t rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

²¹उहइ छिन उ पवित्तर आतिमा मँ रहिके आनंद मँ रहा अउर बोला, “हे परमपिता हे सरग अउर धरती क पर्भू! मइँ तोहार स्तुति करत हउँ कि तू इ बातन क चतुर अउर बुद्धिमान मनइयन स छुपाइ के राखत भवा भी गदेलन बरे ओनका परगट कइ दिहा ह। हे परमपिता! सचमुच ही तू अइसा ही करब चाहत रह्या।

²¹In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.”

²²“मोका मोरे परमपिता क जरिये सब कछू दीन्ह ग अहइ अउर परमपिता क अलावा कउनो नाहीं जानत कि पूत कउन अहइ अउर पूत क अलावा कउनो नाहीं जानत कि परमपिता कउन अहइ या ओकरे अलावा जेका पूत ऍका परगट करइ चाहत ह।”

²²Turning to the disciples, he said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”

²³फिन चेलन कइँती मुड़िके ईसू चुप्पे स कहेस, “धन्य अहइँ उ आँखिन जउन तू देखत अहा, ओका देखत हीं।

²³Turning to the disciples, he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see,

²⁴काहेकि मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ कि उन बातन क बहोत स नबी अउर राजा देखइ चाहत रहिन, जेनका तू देखत रह्या, मुला देखि नाहीं सक्या। जउन बातन क तू सुनत रहत ह, उ सबइ ओनका सुनइ चाहत रहेन, मुला उ पचे सुन नाहीं पाएन।”

²⁴ for I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.”

²⁵तब एक धरम सास्तरी खड़ा भवा अउर ईसू क परीच्छा लेइ बरे ओसे पूछेस, “गुरु, अनन्त जीवन पावइ बरे मइँ का करउँ?”

²⁵Behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

²⁶ऍह पइ ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “व्यवस्था मँ का लिखा बाटइ? तू हुवाँ का पढ़त ह”

²⁶He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”

²⁷धरम सास्तरी उत्तर दिहस, “तू आपन समूचा मन, सारी आतिमा, सारी सक्ती अउर सारी बुद्धि क संग आपन पर्भू स पिरेम करा। अउर ‘आपन पड़ोसी स भी वइसे ही पिआर करा, जइसे तू आपन खुद स करत ह।”‘

²⁷He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; Deuteronomy 6:5 and your neighbor as yourself.” Leviticus 19:18

²⁸तब ईसू ओसे कहेस, “तू ठीक जवाब दिहा ह। तउ तू अइसा ही करा अउर ऍहसे तू जीवित रहब्या।”

²⁸He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”

²⁹मुला उ आपन ताई निआव स जुरा भवा ठहरावइ क इच्छा करत भवा ईसू स कहेस, “अउर मोर परोसी कउन अहइ?”

²⁹But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”

³⁰ईसू जवाबे मँ कहेस, “देखा, एक मनई यरूसलेम स यरीहो जात रहा कि उ डाकुअन स घिरि गवा। उ पचे सब कछू मुच्छ कइ ओका नंगा कइ दिहन अउर मार पीटिके ओका अधमरा छोड़ि के उ पचे चल दिहन।

³⁰Jesus answered, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

³¹अब संजोग स उहइ रस्ता स एक यहूदी याजक जात रहा। जब उ एका निहारेस तउ दूसर कइँती चला गवा।

³¹ By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

³²उहइ रस्ता स गुजरत भवा, एक लेवी भी हुवाँ आवा। उ ओका देखेस अउर उ भी दूसरी कइँती चला गवा।

³² In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.

³³मुला एक सामरी भी जात भवा हुवँई आइ गवा जहाँ उ ओलार दीन्ह ग रहा। उ जब उ मनई क देखेस तउ ओकरे बरे ओकरे मन मँ करुना आइ।

³³ But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,

³⁴तउ उ ओकरे नगिचे आवा ओकरे घाउन प तेल अउर दाखरस डाइके पट्टी बाँधेस। फिन उ ओका आपन पसु प लदिके एक ठु सराय मँ लइ गवा अउर ओका देखइ भालइ लाग।

³⁴ came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

³⁵दूसरे दिन उ दुइ दीनार निकारेस अउर ओनका भटियारा क देत भवा कहेस, ‘ऍकर धियान रख्या अउर ऍसे जिआदा जउन कछू खरच होइ, जब मइँ लौटिहउँ, तोहका चुकाइ देबूँ।’

³⁵ On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’

³⁶“बतावा तोहरे बिचार स डाकुअन क बीच घिरे भए मनई क पड़ोसी इ तीनउँ मँ स कउन भवा?”

³⁶ Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?”

³⁷धरम सास्तरी कहेस, “उहइ जउन ओहॅ प दाया किहेस।” ऍह पइ ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “जा अउर वइसा ही करा जइसा उ किहेस ह।” मरियम अउर मार्था

³⁷He said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

³⁸जब ईसू अउर ओकर चेलन आपन राहे प जात रहेन तउ ईसू एक गाउँ मँ पहुँचा। एक स्त्री, जेकर नाउँ मार्था रहा, दिल खोलिके ईसू क अगवानी अउर सम्मान किहेस।

³⁸It happened as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

³⁹मार्था क बहिन मरियम नाउँ क रही जउन ईसू क गोड़वा मँ बैठि गई अउर जउन कछू उ कहत रहा, ओका सुनत रही।

³⁹She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.

⁴⁰ओहॅर तरह तरह क तइयारी मँ लाग मार्था बियाकुल होइके आइ अउर बोली, “पर्भू, का तोहका चिंता नाहीं कि मोर बहिन सारा काम बस मोहे प डाइ दिहे अहइ? एह बरे ओसे मोर मदद करइ क कहा?”

⁴⁰But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me.”

⁴¹पर्भू ओका जवाब दिहेस, “मार्था अरी मार्था! तू बहोत स बातन क बरे चिंता मँ बूड़ी अउर बियाकुल रहत ह।

⁴¹Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,

⁴²मुला बस एक ही बात जरूरी अहइ। मरियम आपन बरे उहइ उत्तिम हींसा क चुने बाटइ, तउ उ ओसे छीना नाहीं जाई।”

⁴² but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
