¹फिन ईसू बारहु प्रेरितन क एक साथे बोलॉएस। अउर ओनका दुस्ट आतिमन स छुटकारा दियावइ क सामर्थ अउर हक दिहेस। उ ओनका बेरामी दूर करइके सामर्थ दिहेस।

¹He called the twelve TR reads “his twelve disciples” instead of “the twelve” together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

²फिन उ ओनका परमेस्सर क राज्य क सुसमाचार का घोसना किहेस अउर बेरमियन क नीक करइ बाहेर पठएस।

²He sent them forth to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

³उ ओनसे कहेस, “आपन जात्रा बरे कछू संग न लेइँ, न लाठी, न झोरा, न रोटी, चाँदी अउर न कउनो अउर ओढ़ना।

³He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey—neither staffs, nor wallet, nor bread, nor money; neither have two coats apiece.

⁴तू जउन कउनो घरे क भितरे जा, हुवँइ ठहरा। अउर जब तलक बिदा न ह्वा, हुवइँ ठहरा रहा।

⁴ Into whatever house you enter, stay there, and depart from there.

⁵अउर जहाँ कहूँ मनई तोहार अगवानी न करइँ तउ जब तू उ सहर क तजि द्या अउर ओनके खिलाफ सनद क रूप मँ गोड़वा क धूरि झाड़ि द्या।”

⁵ As many as don’t receive you, when you depart from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet for a testimony against them.”

⁶तउ हुवाँ स चलिके उ सबइ हर कतहूँ सुसमाचार क उपदेस देतेन अउर मनइयन क चंगा करत सबहीं गाउँन स फिरत भए जात्रा करइ लागेन।

⁶They departed, and went throughout the villages, preaching the Good News, and healing everywhere.

⁷अब जबहिं एक चउथाई देस क राजा हेरोदेस जउन कछू भवा रहा, ओकरे बारे मँ सुनेस तउ उ भरम मँ पड़ि गवा काहेकि कछू मनइयन इ कहत रहेन, “यूहन्ना क मरे हुअन मँ स जिआइ दीन्ह ग अहइ।”

⁷Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him; and he was very perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead,

⁸दूसर कहत रहेन, “एलिय्याह परगट भवा अहा।” कछू अउर कहत रहेन, “पुरान जुग क कउनो नबी जी उठा बा।”

⁸and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.

⁹[This verse may not be a part of this translation]

⁹Herod said, “John I beheaded, but who is this, about whom I hear such things?” He sought to see him.

¹⁰फिन जब प्रेरितन लौटिके आएन तउ उ पचे जउन कछू किहे रहेन, सब ईसू क बताएन। तउ उ ओनका हुवाँ स आपन संग लइके चुप्पे बैतसैदा नाउँ क सहर चला गवा।

¹⁰The apostles, when they had returned, told him what things they had done. He took them, and withdrew apart to a deserted place of a city called Bethsaida.

¹¹मुला भीड़ क पता लग गवा तउ उ भी ओनके पाछे होइ गइ। ईसू ओनकइ सुआगत किहेस अउ परमेस्सर क राज्य क बारे मँ ओनका बताएस। अउर जेनका दवाई क जरूरत रही ओनका नीक किहेस।

¹¹But the multitudes, perceiving it, followed him. He welcomed them, and spoke to them of the Kingdom of God, and he cured those who needed healing.

¹²जब दिन ओनवइ लाग तउ उ पचे बारहु ओकरे लगे आएन अउर बोलेन, “भीड़ क बिदाई दइ द्या जइसे उ सबइ नगिचे क गाउँन अउर खेतन मँ जाइके ठहरइ क ठिकाना अउर खइया क पाइ सकइँ काहेकि हम हिआँ बहोत दूर सुनसान जगह मँ अही।”

¹²The day began to wear away; and the twelve came, and said to him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms, and lodge, and get food, for we are here in a deserted place.”

¹³मुला उ ओनसे कहेस, “तू ही ऍनका खइया क द्या।” उ पचे बोलेन, “हमरे लगे बस पाँच रोटी अउर दुइ मछरी क छोड़िके अउर कछू भी नाहीं अहइ। या तू इ तउ नाहीं चाहत अहा कि हम पचे जाई अउर इ सबन बरे खइया के मोल क लइ आई।”

¹³But he said to them, “You give them something to eat.” They said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we should go and buy food for all these people.”

¹⁴(हुवाँ करीब पाँच हजार पुरुसन रहेन।) मुला ईसू आपन चेलन स कहेस, “ओनका पचास पचास क दल मँ बइठाइ द्या।”

¹⁴For they were about five thousand men. He said to his disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

¹⁵तउ उ पचे वइसा ही किहेन अउर हर कउनो क बइठाइ दिहन।

¹⁵They did so, and made them all sit down.

¹⁶फिन ईसू पाँच रोटी अउर दुइ मछरी क लइके सरगे कइँती लखत भवा ओनके बरे धन्यबाद दिहेस अउर फिन ओनके टुकड़न मँ तोरत भवा ओनका आपन चेलन क दिहस कि उ पचे मनइयन क परोस देइँ।

¹⁶He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

¹⁷मनइयन खुब जिअरा भरिके खाएन अउर बचा भवा टुकड़न स ओकर चेलन बारह झउआ भरेन।

¹⁷They ate, and were all filled. They gathered up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.

¹⁸इ भवा कि ईसू जब अकेल्ॅले मँ पराथना करत रहा तउ ओकर चेलन भी ओकरे संग रहेन। तउ ईसू ओनसे पूछेस, “मनइयन का कहत हीं कि मइँ कउन हउँ?”

¹⁸It happened, as he was praying alone, that the disciples were with him, and he asked them, “Who do the multitudes say that I am?”

¹⁹उ पचे जवाब दिहन, “बपतिस्मा देवइया यूहन्ना कछू कहत हीं एलिय्याह मुला कछू दूसर कहत हीं पुरान जुग क कउनो नबी उठि खड़ा भवा बा।”

¹⁹They answered, “‘John the Baptizer,’ but others say, ‘Elijah,’ and others, that one of the old prophets is risen again.”

²⁰ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “अउर तू का कहत ह कि मइँ कउन हउँ?” पतरस जवाब दिहस, “परमेस्सर क मसीह।”

²⁰He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”

²¹मुला इ बारे मँ कउनो क भी न बतावइ क चिताउनी देत भवा ईसू ओनसे कहेस,

²¹But he warned them, and commanded them to tell this to no one,

²²“इ तइ अहइ कि मनई क पूत ढेरि क कस्ट उठाई अउर उ बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन, मुख्ययाजकन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन क मना कइ दिहे स मारि डावा जाई फिन तिसरे दिन जी जाई।”

²²saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.”

²³फिन उ ओन सबन स कहेस, “जदि कउनो मोरे साथ चलत चाहत ह तउ ओका खुद आपन क नकारइ क होई। अउर हर दिन ओका आपन क्रूस (यातना) उठावइ क होई। अउर मोर अनुसरन करइ क होइ।

²³He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, TR, NU add “daily” and follow me.

²⁴काहेकि जउन कउनो आपन जिन्नगी बचाउब चाहत ह, उ ओका खोइ बइठी मुला जउन कउनो मोरे बरे आपन जिन्नगी क तजि देइ, उहइ ओका बचाई।

²⁴ For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.

²⁵काहेकि ऍहम कउनो मनई का का लाभ अहइ कि उ समूचे संसार क लइ लेइ मुला खुद आपन क नास कइ देइ या खोइ देइ।

²⁵ For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits his own self?

²⁶जउन कउनो भी मोरे या मोरे सब्दन बरे लजात ह, ओकरे बरे मनई क पूत भी जब आपन महिमा मँ, आपन परमपिता अउर पवित्तर सरगदूतन क महिमा मँ परगट होई तउ ओकरे बरे लजाइ जाई।

²⁶ For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed, when he comes in his glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.

²⁷मुला मइँ तोसे सच कहत हउँ, हिआँ कछू खड़ा अहइँ, जउन जब तलक मउत क सेवाद नाहीं लेइहीं, जब ताई परमेस्सर क राज्य क ना लखि लेइँ।”

²⁷ But I tell you the truth: There are some of those who stand here, who will in no way taste of death, until they see the Kingdom of God.”

²⁸इ सब्दन के कहइ क लगभग आठ दिना बाद उ पतरस, यूहन्ना अउर याकूब क संग लइके पराथना बरे पहाड़े प गवा।

²⁸It happened about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Peter, John, and James, and went up onto the mountain to pray.

²⁹फिन अइसा भवा कि पराथना करत भए ओकरे मुँहना क रूप तनिक अलग होइ गवा अउर ओकर ओढ़ना चमचमात सफेद होइ गएन।

²⁹As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.

³⁰हुबँई ओसे बतियात दुइ मनई परगट भएन। उ सबइ मूसा अउर एलिय्याह रहेन।

³⁰Behold, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah,

³¹जउन आपन महिमा क संग परगट भ रहेन अउर ईसू क मउत क बारे मँ बात करत रहेन जेका ओका यरूसलेम मँ पूरा करइ क रहा।

³¹who appeared in glory, and spoke of his departure, literally, “exodus” which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

³²मुला पतरस अउर जउन ओनके संग रहेन ओनका नींद आइ गइ। तउ जब उ पचे जागेन उ पचे ईसू क महिमा क लखेन अउर उ सबइ उ दुइ मनइयन क लखेन जउन ओकरे संग खड़ा रहेन।

³²Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.

³³अउर फिन भवा अइसा कि जइसे ही उ पचे ईसू स बिदाई लेत रहेन, पतरस ईसू स कहेस, “स्वामी अच्छा बा कि हम हिआँ अही, हमका तीन माँड़ब बनवइ क अहइँ एक तोहरे बरे, एक मूसा बरे अउर एक एलिय्याह बरे।” (उ नाहीं जानत रहा, उ का कहत अहइ।)

³³It happened, as they were parting from him, that Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah,” not knowing what he said.

³⁴उ इ कहत रहा कि एक बादर उमड़ा अउर उ ओनका आपन छाया मँ घेरि लिहस। जइसे ही ओन प बादर छावा, उ पचइ घबराइ गएन।

³⁴While he said these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered into the cloud.

³⁵तबहीं बदरे स अकासबाणी भइ, “इ मोर पूत अहइ, ऍका मइँ चुन्यों ह, एकर सुना।”

³⁵A voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!”

³⁶जब अकासबाणी होइ गइ तउ उ पचे उहाँ ईसू क अकेल्लन पाएन। उ पचे ऍकरे बारे मँ चुप रहेन। उ सबइ जउन कछू लखेन, ओकरे बारे मँ उ समइ कउनो स कछू नाहीं कहेन।

³⁶When the voice came, Jesus was found alone. They were silent, and told no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

³⁷अगवा दिन अइसा भवा कि जब उ पचे पहाड़ी स तरखाले उतरेन तउ ओनका एक बड़ी भीड़ मिलि गइ।

³⁷It happened on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great multitude met him.

³⁸तबहीं भीड़ मँ स एक मनई चिचियान, “गुरु, मइँ पराथना करत हउँ कि मोरे बेटवा प दया दृस्टि करा। उ मोरे इकलौती संतान अहइ।

³⁸Behold, a man from the crowd called out, saying, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.

³⁹एकदम्मई एक दुस्ट आतिमा ओका जकरि लेत ह अउर चिचिआत ह। ओका दुस्ट आतिमा अइसे अइँठत ह कि ओकरे मुँहे स झाग निकरइ लागत ह। उ ओका बराबर सतावत रहत ह अउर कउनो तरह नाहीं छोड़त।

³⁹Behold, a spirit takes him, he suddenly cries out, and it convulses him so that he foams, and it hardly departs from him, bruising him severely.

⁴⁰मइँ तोहरे चेलन स पराथना किहा ह कि ओका बाहेर खदेर देइँ मुला उ पचे अइसा नाहीं कइ सकेन।”

⁴⁰I begged your disciples to cast it out, and they couldn’t.”

⁴¹तब ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “अरे अबिसवासियो अउर भटक गवा मनइयो, मइँ अउर केतना दिन तोहरे संग रहब अउर कब ताईं तोहार सहत रहब?” आपन बेटवा क हिआँ लिआवा।”

⁴¹Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”

⁴²अबहीं उ लरिका अउतइ रहा कि दुस्ट आतिमा ओका पटकनी दिहस अउर अइँठेसि। मुला ईसू दुस्ट आतिमा क फटकारेस अउर लरिका क रोग स जरटूट कइके बाप क सौंपि दिहस।

⁴²While he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him violently. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

⁴³उ सबइ परमेस्सर क इ बड़कई स अचरजे मँ पड़ि गएन। ईसू जउन कछू करत रहा ओखा लखिके मनइयन जब अचरज करत रहेन तबहीं ईसू आपन चेलन स कहेस,

⁴³They were all astonished at the majesty of God. But while all were marveling at all the things which Jesus did, he said to his disciples,

⁴⁴“अब मइँ जउन तोहसे कहत हउँ, ओन बातन प धियान द्या। मनई क पूत मनइयन क हाथे स धरावइ जाइवाला अहइ।”

⁴⁴ “Let these words sink into your ears, for the Son of Man will be delivered up into the hands of men.”

⁴⁵मुला उ पचे इ बात क नाहीं समुझ सकेन। इ ओनसे छुपी रही। तउ उ सबइ ओका पहिचान नाहीं पाएन। अउर उ पचे उ बात क बारे मँ ओसे पूछइ स ससान रहेन।

⁴⁵But they didn’t understand this saying. It was concealed from them, that they should not perceive it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

⁴⁶एक दाईं ईसू क चेलन क बीच इ बाते प झगड़ा भवा कि ओनमाँ स सब स बड़कबा कउन बाटइ?

⁴⁶There arose an argument among them about which of them was the greatest.

⁴⁷ईसू जानि गवा कि ओनके मने मँ का बिचार अहइँ। तउ उ गदेला क लिहस अउर ओका अपने लगे ठाड़ कइके

⁴⁷Jesus, perceiving the reasoning of their hearts, took a little child, and set him by his side,

⁴⁸ओनसे बोला, “जउन कउनो इ गदेला क मोरे नाउँ मँ ग्रहण करत ह, उ माना मोर ग्रहण करत बाटइ। अउर जउन कउनो मोर ग्रहण करत ह, उ ओकर (परमेस्सर) ही ग्रहण करत बाटइ जउन मोका पठएस ह। यह बरे जउन तू सबन मँ सब स नान्ह बाटइ, उहइ सबइ त बड़कवा अहइ।”

⁴⁸and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.”

⁴⁹यूहन्ना आपन प्रतिक्रिया परगट करत भवा कहेस, “स्वामी, हम पचे तोहरे नाउँ प एक ठु मनई क दुस्ट आतिमन क निकारत लखा ह। हम सबइ ओखा रोकइ थामइ क जतन कीन्ह ह काहेकि उ हम पचन मँ स कउनो नाहीं अहइ, जउन तोहरे पाछे पाछे चलत हीं।”

⁴⁹John answered, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow with us.”

⁵⁰ऍह पइ ईसू यूहन्ना स कहेस, “ओका जिन रोका काहेकि जउन तोहरे बिरुद्ध मँ नाहीं अहइ, उ तोहरे पच्छ मँ ही बाटइ।”

⁵⁰Jesus said to him, “Don’t forbid him, for he who is not against us is for us.”

⁵¹अब अइसा भवा कि जब ओका ऊपर सरगे मँ लइ जाइके समइ आइ तउ उ यरूसलेम जाइके मन पक्का कइके चला गवा।

⁵¹It came to pass, when the days were near that he should be taken up, he intently set his face to go to Jerusalem,

⁵²उ आपन दूतन क पहिले ही पठइ दिहस। उ पचे चलेन अउर ओकरे बरे तइयारी करइ क सामरी लोगन क गाउँ मँ पहुँचेन।

⁵²and sent messengers before his face. They went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, so as to prepare for him.

⁵³मुला सामरी मनइयन हुवाँ ओकर सुआगत मान नाहीं किहेन काहेकि उ यरूसलेम जात रहा।

⁵³They didn’t receive him, because he was traveling with his face set towards Jerusalem.

⁵⁴जब ओकर चेलन याकूब अउर यूहन्ना इ देखेन तउ उ पचे बोलेन, “पर्भू का तू चाहत ह कि हम हुकुम देई कि अकासे स आगी बरिसइ अउर ओनका भसम कइ देइ?”

⁵⁴When his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, “Lord, do you want us to command fire to come down from the sky, and destroy them, just as Elijah did?”

⁵⁵ऍह प उ ओनकी कइँती मुड़ा अउर ओनका डाटेस फटकारेस।

⁵⁵But he turned and rebuked them, “You don’t know of what kind of spirit you are.

⁵⁶फिन उ सबइ दूसर गाउँ चला गएन।

⁵⁶ For the Son of Man didn’t come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” They went to another village.

⁵⁷जब उ सबइ सड़क पइ जात रहेन कउनो ओसे कहेस, “तू कतहूँ भी जा मइँ तोहरे पाछे चलब।”

⁵⁷As they went on the way, a certain man said to him, “I want to follow you wherever you go, Lord.”

⁵⁸ईसू ओसे कहेस, “लोखरिन क लगे बिल होत ही अउर अकासे क चिरइयन क घोंसला होत हीं मुला मनई क पूत क मूँड़ धरइ क कउनो ठउर नाहीं।”

⁵⁸Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

⁵⁹उ दूसर स कहेस, “मोरे पाछे होइ जा।” मुला उ मनई बोला, “पर्भू पहिले मोका जाइ द्या काहेकि मइँ आपन बाप क दफनियाइ आवउँ।”

⁵⁹He said to another, “Follow me!” But he said, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

⁶⁰तब ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मरे भवा लोगन क आपन मुर्दा गाड़इ द्या, तू जा अउर परमेस्सर क राज्य क ऍलान करा।”

⁶⁰But Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God.”

⁶¹फिन कउनो अउर भी कहेस, “हे पर्भू, मइँ तोहरे पाछे चलब मुला पहिले मोका आपन घरे क मनइयन स बिदाइ कइ देइ द्या।”

⁶¹Another also said, “I want to follow you, Lord, but first allow me to say good-bye to those who are at my house.”

⁶²ऍह प ईसू ओसे कहेस, “अइसा कउनो भी जउन हरे प हाथ धरे क बाद पाछे देखत ह, परमेस्सर क राज्य क जोग्ग नाहीं।”

⁶²But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.”
