¹फसह क त्यौहार अउर वे खमीरे क रोटी क त्यौहार स दुइ दिन पहिले की बात अहइ कि मुख्ययाजकन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन कउनो अइसा कुचाल चलत रहेन कि जउने चलाकी स ओका गिरफतार कइ लेइँ अउर जान स मारि डावइँ।

¹It was now two days before the feast of the Passover and the unleavened bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception, and kill him.

²उ सबइ इ कहत रहेन, “मुला हम पचेन क त्यौहार क दिन अइसा नाहीं करइ चाही, नाहीं तउ मनइयन दंगा कइ लेइहीं।”

²For they said, “Not during the feast, because there might be a riot of the people.”

³जब बैतनिय्याह मँ ईसू समौन कोढ़ी क घरे खाना खाइके बइठा, तबहिं एक ठु स्त्री उज्जर अउर चीकन स्फटिक मनि क बासन मँ सुद्ध बाल छड़े क इतर लइ आइ। उ स्त्री बासने को तोड़ेस अउर ओसे निकसत इतरे क ईसू क मुँड़वा प उड़ेरेस।

³While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar, and poured it over his head.

⁴ऍइसे हुवाँ कछू चेलन बिगड़ के आपुस मँ कहइ लागेन, “इतरे क अइसी बर्बाद काहे कीन्ह गइ अहइ?

⁴But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?

⁵इ इतर तउ तीन सउ दीनारे स जिआदा मँ बेंच जाइ सकत ह अउर फिन उ धने क कंगालन मँ बाँटि जाइ सकत रहा।” उ पचे उ स्त्री क निन्दा करेन।

⁵For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, 300 denarii was about a years wages for an agricultural laborer. and given to the poor.” They grumbled against her.

⁶तब ईसू कहेस, “काहे क ओका तंग करत ह ओका छोड़ा। उ मोर बरे एक बढ़िया काज करेस ह।

⁶But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.

⁷काहेकि कंगालन तू हमेसा तोहरे लगे रइहीं अउर तउ तू जब चाहा ओनकइ मदद कइ सकत ह, मुला मइँ तोहरे साथे हमेसा न रहिउँ।

⁷ For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.

⁸इ स्त्री उहइ किहस जउन उ कइ सकत रही। उ समइ स पहिले मोरे दफनावइ बरे, मोरे बदन पइ इतर छिरकि के ओका तइयार किहेस ह।

⁸ She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.

⁹मइँ तोसे सच-सच कहत हउँ समूचे संसारे मँ जहाँ कहूँ भी इ सुसमाचार क परचार कीन्ह जाई, हुवँई ऍकरे यादे मँ जउन कछू इ स्त्री करेस ह, ओकर चर्चा होई।”

⁹ Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”

¹⁰तब यहूदा इस्करियोती, जउन ऍकरे बारहु प्रेरितन मँ एक ठु रहा, मुख्ययाजकन क नगिचे ईसू क धोखा दइ के पकड़वावइ बरे गवा।

¹⁰Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him to them.

¹¹उ पचे ओकर बतियन सुनिके बहोत खुस भएन अउर उ पचे ओका धन देइ क वादा करेन। एह बरे फिन यहूदा ईसू क धोखा दइ क पकड़वाव क तलास मँ रहइ लाग।

¹¹They, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. He sought how he might conveniently deliver him.

¹²बे खमीरे क रोटी क त्यौहार स एक दिन पहिले, जब फसह मेमना क बलिदान दीन्ह जात रही। ओकरे चेलन ओसे पूछेन, “तू का चाहत बाट्या कि हम पचे कहाँ जाइके तोहरे खइया बरे फसह क भोज तैयारी करी?”

¹²On the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover, his disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare that you may eat the Passover?”

¹³तब उ आपन दुइ ठो चेलन क इ कहिके पठएस, “सहर मँ जा, जहाँ तोहका एक ठु मनई पानी क गगरी धरे भेंटइ, तउ ओकरे पाछे होइ जा।

¹³He sent two of his disciples, and said to them, “Go into the city, and there you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him,

¹⁴फिन जहाँ कहूँ भी उ भीतर जाइ, उ घरे क मालिक स कह्या, ‘गुरु पूछेस ह, भोजन क उ बैठका कहाँ बाटइ, जहाँ मइँ आपन चेलन क संग फसह क भोज खाइ सकउँ।’

¹⁴ and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

¹⁵फिन उ तोहका ऊपर एक बड़का सजा भवा बैठका देखाई, हुवँइ हमरे बरे तैयारी करा।”

¹⁵ He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Get ready for us there.”

¹⁶तब ओकर चेलन हुवाँ स सहर क चेलन जहाँ उ पचे हर बात वइसी निहारेन जइसी ईसू ओनका बताएस। तबहिं उ पचे फसह क भोज तैयार करेन।

¹⁶His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found things as he had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.

¹⁷दिन ओनवत क आपन बारहु प्रेरितन क संग ईसू हुवाँ पहुँच गवा।

¹⁷When it was evening he came with the twelve.

¹⁸जब उ पचे बइठके खइया के खात रहेन, तबहिं ईसू कहेस, “मइँ सच कहत हउँ, तोहरे मँ स एक ठु जउन मोरे संग खइया क खात अहइ, उहइ मोका धोका दइके पकड़वाई।”

¹⁸As they sat and were eating, Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me.”

¹⁹ऍसे उ पचे दुखी होइ के एक दुसरे स कहइ लागेन, “सचमुच उ मइँ नाहीं हउँ।”

¹⁹They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, “Surely not I?” And another said, “Surely not I?”

²⁰तब ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “उ बारहु मँ स उहइ एक बाटइ, जउन मोरे संग एकहि थारी मँ खात अहइ।

²⁰He answered them, “It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.

²¹मनई क पूत क तउ जाइ क अहइ, जइसा कि ओकरे बारे मँ लिखा बाटइ। मुला उ मनई क धिक्कार अहइ, जउन स मनई क पूत पकड़वावइ जाइ केतना नीक इ होत कि उ मनई पइदा न भवा होत।”

²¹ For the Son of Man goes, even as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

²²जब उ पचे खइया क खात रहेन, ईसू रोटी लिहस, धन्यबाद दिहस, रोटी क तोड़ेस अउर ओका उ पचन्क देत देत कहेस, “ल्या, इ मोर बदन अहइ।”

²²As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed, he broke it, and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”

²³फिन उ कटोरा क उठाएस, धन्यबाद दिहस अउर ओनका दिहस अउर उ सबन ओहमाँ स पियेन।

²³He took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it.

²⁴तबहिं ईसू बोल पड़ा, “इ मोर लहू (मउत) बाटइ जउन एक नवा करार क सुरुआत अहइ यह बहुतन क बरे बहावा जात अहइ।

²⁴He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.

²⁵मइँ तू पचन स सच सच कहत हउँ कि मइँ उ दिना तक दाखरस पिअब जब तलक परमेस्सर क राज्य मँ नवा दाखरस न पिअउँ।”

²⁵ Most certainly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew in the Kingdom of God.”

²⁶तबहिं उ सब एक स्तुति गाना गाइके जैतून क पर्वत प गएन।

²⁶When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

²⁷ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “तोहार पचे क बिसवास खोइ जाइ। काहेकि लिखा बाटई: ‘मई गड़रियवा क मारब अउ भेड़न छिटकाइ जइहीं।’ जकर्याह 13:7

²⁷Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ Zechariah 13:7

²⁸मुला फिन स जी उठे क पाछे मइँ तोसे पहिले ही गलील चला जाब।”

²⁸ However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”

²⁹जब पतरस बोलि उठा, “चाहे सब मिला आपन बिसवास खोइ दें, मुला मइँ न खोउब।”

²⁹But Peter said to him, “Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”

³⁰एह पइ ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मइँ तोसे सच कहत हउँ। आजु, इहइ राते मँ मुर्गा क दुइ बार बाँग देइ स पहिले तू तीन दाई मोका नकार चुका होब्या।”

³⁰Jesus said to him, “Most certainly I tell you, that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

³¹एह पइ पतरस अउर जोर देत भवा कहेस, “जदि मोका तोर संग मरइ पड़इ तबहुँ मइँ तोहका कबहुँ न नकारब!” तबहिं अउ बाकी चेलन भी अइसा ही कहेन।

³¹But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.

³²फिन उ पचे एक अइसे ठउरे प आएन जेका गतसमनी कहा जात हरा। हुवाँ ईसू आपन चेलन स कहेस, “जब तलक मइँ पराथना करत हउँ, तू पचे हियँइ बइठा।”

³²They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I pray.”

³³अउर पतरस, याकूब अउर यूहन्ना क उ आपन संग लइ गवा। उ बहोतइ दुःखी अउर बियाकुल होत रहा।

³³He took with him Peter, James, and John, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.

³⁴उ ओनसे कहेस, “मोर मन दुःखी बाटइ, जेसे मोर प्रान निकरि जइहीं। तू हियँई ठहरा अउर होसिआर रहा।”

³⁴He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch.”

³⁵फिन रचिके अगवा बढ़ि के उ धरती प निहुरि के पराथना करइ लाग कि जदि होइ सकइ तउ घड़ी मोसे टरि जाइ।

³⁵He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.

³⁶फिन उ कहेस, “हे अब्बा परमपिता! तोहरे बरे सब कछू संभव अहइ। इ कटोरा क मोसे दूर करा। फिन जउन कछू मइँ चाहत हउँ, उ नाहीं मुला जउन तू चाहत ह, उहइ करा।”

³⁶He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

³⁷फिन उ लौटा तउ आपन चेलन क सोवत भवा निहारि के पतरस स कहेस, “समौन क तू सोवत अहा? का तू एक घड़ी भी जाग नाहीं सक्या?

³⁷He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you watch one hour?

³⁸जागत रहा अउर पराथना करा जेसे तू अउनो परिच्छा मँ न फँसा। आतिमा तउ चाहत ह मुला सरीर निर्बल अहइ।”

³⁸ Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

³⁹उ फिन चला गवा अउर वइसे ही बचन बोलत बोलत उ पराथना किहेस।

³⁹Again he went away, and prayed, saying the same words.

⁴⁰जब उ दुबारा लौटा तउ उ फिन ओका सोवत पाएस। ओकरी आँखिन मँ नींद चाँपे रही। ओका कछू सूझत नाहीं रहा कि उ का जवाब देइ।

⁴⁰Again he returned, and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they didn’t know what to answer him.

⁴¹उ तिसरी दाई फिन लौटा अउर ओसे बोला, “का तू अबहुँ अरामे स सोवत अहा? अच्छा, तउ सोवत रहा। उ घड़ी आइ गइ अहइ जब मनई क पूत धोखा स पकड़वाइ जाइ के पापी मनइयन क हथवा मँ दइ दीन्ह जात अहइ।

⁴¹He came the third time, and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

⁴²खड़ा होइ जा! आवा चली। देखा, इ आवत अहइ, मोका धोखा दइ के पकड़वइया मनई।”

⁴² Arise, let us be going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”

⁴³ईसू बोलत रहा कि ओकरे बारहु प्रेरितन मँ स एक यहूदा हुवाँ दिखाइ दिहस। ओकरे लगे लठियन अउर तरवारन क लिहे भीड़ रही, जेका मुख्ययाजकन, धरम सास्तिरियन अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन पठएन रहेन।

⁴³Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came—and with him a multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.

⁴⁴धोखा दइ के पकड़वइया ओनका ई इसारा बताइ के राखे रहा, “जेका मइँ चूम लेउँ, उहइ उ अहइ। ओका हिरासत मँ लइ ल्या अउर पकड़ि के सुरच्छित स लइ जा।”

⁴⁴Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely.”

⁴⁵तउ जइसे ही यहूदा हुआँ आवा, उ ईसू क नगिचे जाइ के कहेस, “गुरु!” अउर ओका चूमि लिहेस।

⁴⁵When he had come, immediately he came to him, and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and kissed him.

⁴⁶फिन तुरंतहि उ पचे ओकर हाथ पकड़िके हिरासते मँ लइ लिहन।

⁴⁶They laid their hands on him, and seized him.

⁴⁷ओकर चेला जउन नगिचे खड़ा रहा, आपन तरवार खींचेस अउर महायाजक क एक ठु नउकरे प मारि दिहस, जेसे ओकर कान कट गवा।

⁴⁷But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

⁴⁸फिन ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “का मइँ कउनो अपराधी हउँ जेका पकड़इ तू सबइ लाठी अउर तरवार लइके आइ अहा?

⁴⁸Jesus answered them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?

⁴⁹रोज मन्दिर मँ उपदेस देत मइँ तोहरे साथे रहा मुला तू पचे मोका नाहीं पकड़या। अब इ भवा जइसे सास्तरन क बचन पूरा होइ जाइ।”

⁴⁹ I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me. But this is so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled.”

⁵⁰फिन ओकर सब चेलन ओका अकेला तजि के पराइ गएन।

⁵⁰They all left him, and fled.

⁵¹आपन उधार देहे प केवल चदरिया लपेटि के एक ठु नउजवान पाछे पाछे आवत रहा। उ पचे ओका पकड़इ चाहेन।

⁵¹A certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself, over his naked body. The young men grabbed him,

⁵²मुला उ आपन चदरिया छोड़ि क नंगा पराइ गवा।

⁵²but he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

⁵³उ सबइ ईसू क महायाजक क नगिचे लइ गएन। फिन सबइ मुख्ययाजकन, बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन जमा भएन।

⁵³They led Jesus away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together with him.

⁵⁴पतरस ओसे दूरइ दूर रहत भवा ओकरे पाछे पाछे महायाजक क अंगना मँ भीतर तलक चला गवा अउर हुवाँ क पहरेदारन क साथ बइठके आगी तापइ लाग।

⁵⁴Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.

⁵⁵समूची यहूदी महासभा अउर मुख्ययाजकन ईसू क मउत की सजा देइ बरे ओकरे खिलाफत मँ प्रमान खोजइ क जतन करत रहेन मुला ढूँढ नाहीं पाएन।

⁵⁵Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.

⁵⁶बहोतन ओकरे खिलाफत मँ झूठी साच्छी दिहन, मुला उ सबइ साच्छी आपुस मँ एक दूसर क खिलाफ रहीं।

⁵⁶For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn’t agree with each other.

⁵⁷फिन कछू लोग खड़े भएन अउर ओकरे खिलाफ मँ झूठी साच्छी देत भए कहइ लागेन,

⁵⁷Some stood up, and gave false testimony against him, saying,

⁵⁸“हम पचे ऍका इ कहत सुनेन ह, ‘मनइयन क हथवा स बना भवा इ मन्दिर क मइँ ढहाइ देइहउँ अउर फिन तीन दिना क भीतर दूसर बनाइ देइहउँ, जउन हाथन स बना न होइ।”‘

⁵⁸“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”

⁵⁹लेकिन इन सबन मँ ओ पचेन क साच्छियन एक नाई नाहीं रही।

⁵⁹Even so, their testimony did not agree.

⁶⁰तब ओनके समन्वा महायाजक ठाड़ होइके ईसू स पूछेस, “इ सब लोग, तोहरे खिलाफत मँ इ कउन साच्छियन देत बाटेन? का जबावे मँ तोहका कछू नाहीं कहइके?”

⁶⁰The high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?”

⁶¹यह पइ ईसू चुप्पी साधेस। उ कउनो जबाव नाहीं दिहस। महायाजक फिन ओसे पूछेस, “का तू धन्य (परमेस्सर) का पूत मसीह अहा?”

⁶¹But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

⁶²ईसू बोला, “हाँ, मइँ परमेस्सर क पूत हउँ। अउर तू सब मनई क पूत क उ सर्वसक्तिमान क दाई ठाउँ बइठा अउर सरगे क बदरवन मँ आवत देखब्या।”

⁶²Jesus said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”

⁶³महायाजक आपन ओढ़ना क फाड़त भवा कहेस, “हमका अउ साच्छियन क अब का जरूरत अहइ!

⁶³The high priest tore his clothes, and said, “What further need have we of witnesses?

⁶⁴तू इ सब बेज्जत बातन क कहत सुन्या, अब तोहार का विचार अहइ?” उ सबइ ओका अपराधी ठहराइके कहेन, “ऍका मउत क सजा मिलइ चाही।”

⁶⁴You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” They all condemned him to be worthy of death.

⁶⁵तब कछू मिला ओह पइ थूकत मुँहना क ढकत, घूँसा मारत अउर कछू ओकर हँसी दिल्लगी करत कहइ लागेन, “भविस्सबाणी करा!” अउ फिर पहरेदरवन ओका पीटेन।

⁶⁵Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, “Prophesy!” The officers struck him with the palms of their hands.

⁶⁶पतरस अबहीं नीचे अँगने मँ बइठा रहा कि महायाजक क एक ठु नउकरानी आइ।

⁶⁶As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came,

⁶⁷जबहिं उ पतरस क आगी तापत देखेस तउ बड़े धियान स बोली, “तुहउँ तउ ईसू नासरी क संग रह्या।”

⁶⁷and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him, and said, “You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus!”

⁶⁸मुला पतरस मुकरि गवा अउर कहइ लाग, “मइँ नाहीं जानित या मोरी समझ मँ नहीं आवत अहइ कि तू का कहति अहा।” इ कहत उ ड्योढ़ी तक चला गवा। तबहिं मुर्गा बाँग दिहस।

⁶⁸But he denied it, saying, “I neither know, nor understand what you are saying.” He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed.

⁶⁹उ नउकरानी जब ओका दोबॉरा देखेस तउ हुवाँ खड़े मनइयन स फिन कहइ लाग, “इ मनई भी ओनमाँ स एक अहइ।”

⁶⁹The maid saw him, and began again to tell those who stood by, “This is one of them.”

⁷⁰पतरस फिन मुकर गवा, अउ फिन थोड़ी देर मँ उहाँ खडेन्ह लोगन्ह पतरस स कहेन, “निस्चय ही तू ओनमे स एक अहा, काहेकि तोहू गलील का अहा।”

⁷⁰But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, “You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.”

⁷¹तब पतरस आपन क धिक्कारइ अउर सपथ खाइ लाग। “जेकरे बारे मँ तू बात करत अहा, उ मनई क मइँ नाहीं जानित!”

⁷¹But he began to curse, and to swear, “I don’t know this man of whom you speak!”

⁷²फउरन मुर्गा दूसर बाँग दिहस। पतरस क उहइ समइया उ सब्दन याद होइ आएन जउन ओहमाँ स ईसू कहे रहा, “एसे पहिले कि मुर्गा दुइ दाई बाँग देइ, तू मोका तीन दाई नकरब्या।” तब पतरस जइसे टूटि गवा होइ। वह फूट फूट कइ रोवइ लाग।

⁷²The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.
