³Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron. Hezron became the father of Ram.

⁴एराम क बेटवा अम्मीनादाब। अम्मीनादाब क बेटवा नहसोन। नहसोन क बेटवा सलमोन।

⁴Ram became the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon. Nahshon became the father of Salmon.

⁵सलमोन क बेटवा बोअज। (बोअज की महतारी राहब।) बोअज क बेटवा ओबेद। (ओबेद की महतारी रूथ।) ओबेद क बेटवा यिसै।

⁵Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.

⁶यिसै क बेटवा दाऊद राजा। दाऊद क बेटवा सुलैमान। (सुलैमान की महतारी उरिय्याह क पत्नी।)

⁶Jesse became the father of King David. David became the father of Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.

⁷Solomon became the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam became the father of Abijah. Abijah became the father of Asa.

⁸Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram. Joram became the father of Uzziah.

⁹उज्जियाह क बेटवा योताम। योताम क बेटवा आहाज। आहाज क बेटवा हिजकियाह।

⁹Uzziah became the father of Jotham. Jotham became the father of Ahaz. Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah.

¹⁰हिजकियाह क बेटवा मनस्से। मनस्से क बेटवा आमोन। आमोन क बेटवा योसिय्याह।

¹⁰Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh. Manasseh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Josiah.

¹⁵इलीहूद क बेटवा एलीआजर। एलीआजर क बेटवा मत्तान। मत्तान क बेटवा याकूब।

¹⁵Eliud became the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan. Matthan became the father of Jacob.

¹⁶याकूब क बेटवा यूसुफ। यूसुफ मरियम क पति। ईसू क महतारी मरियम। ईसू, मसीह कहा गवा।

¹⁶Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus “Jesus” means “Salvation.” , who is called Christ.

¹⁷इ तहर इब्राहीम स दाऊद ताई चउदह पीढ़ी बीत गइन। अउर दाऊद स लइके कइदी बनाइके बेबीलोन पठए जाइ तलक चउदह पीढ़ी। अउर कइदी बनाइ के बेबीलोन पठए जाइ स मसीह क जनम ताईं चउदह पीढ़ी अउर भइन।

¹⁷So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.

¹⁸ईसू मसीह क जनम इ तरह भवा: जब ओकर महतारी मरियम क यूसुफ क साथ बरिच्छा भइ तउ बियाहे स पहिले ही पता लगि गवा कि उ पवित्तर आतिमा क सक्ति स ओकर गोड़ भारी होइ ग।

¹⁸Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this; for after his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁹मुला होइवाला ओकर भतार यूसुफ एक ठु बढ़िया मनइ रहा। उ इ बात क खोलिके बतावइ स बदनाम नाहीं होइ चाहत रहा। तउ उ मने मँ ठान लिहेस कि उ वरिच्छा क चुप्पे स पक्का न होइ दे।

¹⁹Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.

²⁰फिन जबहिं उ इ बारे मँ सोचत रहा कि उ सपने मँ आपन समन्वा पर्भू क दूत परगट होत ओसे कहेस, “हे यूसुफ, दाऊद क बेटवा,? मरियम क पत्नी बनवइ स जिन डेरआ काहेकि जउन बचवा ओकरे गरभ मँ अहइ, उ पवित्तर आतिमा क अहइ।

²⁰But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

²¹उ एक पूत क जनमी। तू ओकर नाउँ ईसू धार्‌या काहेकि उ आपन मनइयन क पापन स उद्धार देई।”

²¹She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

²²इ सब कछू इ बरे भवा ह कि पर्भू नबी स जउन कछू कहवाएस, पूरा होइ:

²²Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

²³“सुना, कुँआरी कन्या गोड़े स भारी होइके एक बेटवा क जनमी। ओकर नाउँ इम्मानुएल रक्खा जाई।”? (जेकर अरथ अहइ, “परमेस्सर हमरे लगे बाटइ।”)

²³“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel”; which is, being interpreted, “God with us.” Isaiah 7:14

²⁴जब यूसुफ नीदे स जागि गवा तउ उ उहइ किहेस जउन जेका करइ क पर्भू क दूत ओका हुकुम दिहेस। उ मरियम क बियाहीके आपन घरे लइ आइ।

²⁴Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;

²⁵मुला उ जब ताईं उ पूत क जनम नाहीं दिहेस तब ताईं यूसुफ ओकरे लगे सोएस नाहीं। यूसुफ बेटवा क नाउँ ईसू राखेस।

²⁵and didn’t know her sexually until she had brought forth her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.
