¹“उ दिन सरग का राज्य ओन दस कुँवारियन क नाईं होई जउन मसाल लइके दुलहन स भेंटइ निकरिन।

¹ “Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom.

²ओनमाँ स पाँच मूरख रहीं अउ पाँट ठु चउकस।

² Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

³पाँच उ मूरख कुँवारियन आपन मसाल तउ थाम लिहन मुला ओनके साथे तेल नाहीं लिहन।

³ Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,

⁴ओहँर चउकस कुँवारियन मसाले क साथ कुप्पियन मँ तेल भी लइ लिहन।

⁴ but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

⁵काहेकि दुलहन क अवाई मँ देर होत रही। सबहीं कुँवारियन थके स ओंघाइ लागिन अउर ओलर क सोइ गइन।

⁵ Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

⁶“पर आधी राति मँ धूम मच गइ। ओ हो, ‘दुलहा आवत बा। ओसे भेंटइ बाहर जा!’

⁶ But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’

⁷“उहइ छिन उ सबइ कुँवारियन उठि गइन अउर आपन मसाल तइयार किहेन।

⁷ Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. The end of the wick of an oil lamp needs to be cut off periodically to avoid having it become clogged with carbon deposits. The wick height is also adjusted so that the flame burns evenly and gives good light without producing a lot of smoke.

⁸मूरख कुँवारियन चउकस कुँवारियन स कहेन, ‘हमका आपन तनिक तेल दइ द्या, हमर मसालन बुझि जात अहइँ।’

⁸ The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

⁹“जवाबे मँ सबइ चउकस कुँवारियन बोलिन, ‘नाहीं हम नाहीं दइ सकित। काहेकि फुन इ हमरे बरे पूर न होई अउर न तोहरे बरे। तउ तू पचे तेली क लगे जाइके आपन खातिर बेसहि ल्या।’

⁹ But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

¹⁰“जब उ पचे बेसहइ जात रहिन कि दुलहा आइ पहोंचा। फिन उ कुँवारियन जउन तइयार रहिन, उ सबइ ओनके संग भोजे मँ भीतर घुसिन अउर फिन कउनो फाटक बंद कइ दिहस।

¹⁰ While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

¹¹“आखिर मँ उ सबइ बाकी कुँवारियन भी गइन अउर बोलिन, ‘स्वामी, हे स्वामी, दरवाजा खोलि द्या, हमका भीतर आवइ द्या।’

¹¹ Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’

¹²“मुला उ जबाव देत भवा कहेस, “मइँ तोहसे सच सच कहत हउँ: मइँ तोहका नाहीं जानत हउँ।’

¹² But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

¹³“तउ होसियार रहा। काहेकि तू न उ दिना क जानत ह, न घड़ी क, जब मनई क पूत लउटी।

¹³ Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

¹⁴“सरग का राज्य उ मनई क नाई होई जउन जात्रा प जात भवा आपन नउकरन क बोलाइके अपने समान क रखवारा बनाएस।

¹⁴ “For it is like a man, going into another country, who called his own servants, and entrusted his goods to them.

¹⁵उ एक क चाँदी स भरी पाँच ठु थैली दिहस। दुसरे क दुइ अउ तिसरे क एक दिहस। उ हर एक क ओकर जोग्गता होइ क मुताबिक दइके जात्रा प निकरि गवा।

¹⁵ To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.

¹⁶जेका चाँदी क रूपया स भरी पाँच ठु थैली मिलीं, उ फउरन उ पइसे क धंधा मँ लगाइ दिहस फिन पाँच थैली अउर कमाएस।

¹⁶ Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.

¹⁷अइसे ही जेका दुइ थैली मिलिन, उ भी दुइ अउर कमाइ लिहस।

¹⁷ In the same way, he also who got the two gained another two.

¹⁸मुला जेका एक मिली रही उ कहूँ जाइके भुइँया मँ गड़हा खोदेस अउर स्वामी क धने क गाड़ दिहस।

¹⁸ But he who received the one went away and dug in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.

¹⁹बहोत समइ बीत जाए क पाछे ओन सेवकन क स्वामी लउटि आवा अउर हर कउनो स लेखा जोखा लेइ लाग।

¹⁹ “Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reconciled accounts with them.

²⁰उ मनई जेका चाँदी क पाँच थैली मिलिन, आपन स्वामी क लगे गवा अउर चाँदी क पाँच अउर थैली दिहे रहा। चाँद क इ पाँच थैली अउर अहइँ जउन मइँ कमायउँ ह।’

²⁰ He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents besides them.’

²¹‘ओकर स्वामी ओहसे कहेस, ‘साबास! तू भरोसा क बढ़िया नउकर अहा। तनिक क रकम क बारे मँ तू बिसवास क जोग्ग रह्या मइँ तोहका अउर जिआदा हक देब। भितरे जा अउर आपन स्वामी क खुसी मँ खुसी मनावा।’

²¹ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

²²“फिन जेका चाँदी क दुइ थैली मिली रहीं, आपन स्वामी क लगे गवा अउर बोला, ‘स्वामी तू मोका चाँदी क दुइ थैली दिहे रहा, चाँदी क इ दुइ थैली अउ अहइँ जेका मइँ कमायो ह।’

²² “He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents besides them.’

²³“ओकर स्वामी ओसे कहेस, ‘साबास! तू भरोसा क लायक बढ़िया नउकर अहा। तनिक रकम क बारे मँ तू बिसवास क जोग्ग रह्या। मइँ तोहका अउर जिआदा हक देब। भितरे जा अउर आपन स्वामी क खुसी मँ खुसी मनावा।’

²³ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

²⁴“फिन उ जेका चाँदी क एक थैली मिली रही, आपन स्वामी क लगे आवा अउर बोला, ‘स्वामी, मइँ जानत हउँ तू बहोत कठोर मनई अहा। तू हुवाँ काटत ह जहाँ तू बोया नाहीं रहा, अउर जहाँ तू कउनो बिआ नाहीं छिटकाया तू हुवाँ स फसिल बटोरब्या।

²⁴ “He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter.

²⁵यह बरे मइँ डेराइ गवा रहे। तउ मइँ जाइके चाँदी क थैलिया क भुइँया मँ गाड़ दीन्ह। इ लइ ल्या जउन तोहार अहइ इ बाटइ, लइ ल्या।’

²⁵ I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’

²⁶“जवाबे मँ ओकर मालिक ओसे कहेस, ‘तू एक बुरा आलसी सेवक अहा, तू जानत ह कि मइँ बिन बोए कटनी करत हउँ, हुवाँ स फसिल बटोरत हउँ।

²⁶ “But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.

²⁷तउ तोहका मोर धन साहूकार क लगे जमा कइ देइ चाही रहा। फिन जब मइँ आइत तउ जउन मोर रहा बियाज क साथ लइ लेइत।’

²⁷ You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.

²⁸“एह बरे ऍसे चाँदी क एक थैली लइ ल्या अउर जेकरे लगे चाँदी क दस थैली अहइँ, ऍका उहइ क दइ द्या।

²⁸ Take away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents.

²⁹काहेकि हर उ मनई जो जउन कछू ओकरे लगे रहा ओकर सही प्रयोग किहेस ओका अउ जिआदा दीन्ह जाई। अउर जेतॅनी ओका जरूरत अहइ, उ ओसे जिआदा पाई। मुला ओसे, जो जउन कछू ओकरे लगे रहा ओकर सही प्रयोग नाहीं किहेस, सब कछू ओकरे लगे रहा ओकर सही प्रयोग नाहीं किहेस, सब कछू छोर लीन्ह जाई।

²⁹ For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.

³⁰तउ उ बेकार क नउकर क बाहेर अँधियरे मँ धकियाइ द्या जहाँ लोग रोइहीं अउर आपन दाँत पिसिहीं।

³⁰ Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

³¹“मनई क पूत जब आपन सरगे क महिमा क संग आपन सबही दूतन क संग आपन सानदार सिंहासने प बइठी

³¹ “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.

³²तउ संसार क सबहिं लोग ओकरे समन्वा ऍकट्ठ होइ जइहीं अउर एक दूसर क वइसे ही अलगाइ देइ, जइसे एक गड़रिया आपन बोकरियन स भेड़न क अलगाइ देत ह।

³² Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

³³उ भेड़न क दाहिन कइँती अउर बकरियन क बाई कइँती राखी।

³³ He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

³⁴फिन उ राजा, जउन ओकरे दाहिन अहइ, ओनसे कही, ‘मोरे परमपिता स असीस पाए मनइयो, आवा अउर जउन राज्य तोहरे बरे संसार क सृस्टि स पहिले तइयार कीन्ह ग अहइ, ओकर अधिकारी बनि जा।

³⁴ Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

³⁵इ राज्य तोहार अहइ काहेकि मइँ भुखान रह्यों अउ तू मोका कछू खाइके द्या, मइँ पिआसा रह्यों अउर तू मोका कछू पिअइ क दिहा। मइँ नगिचे स जात भवा अनजान रह्यों, अउर तू मोका भितरे लइ गया।

³⁵ for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in.

³⁶मइँ बेवस्तर रह्यों, तू मोका ओढ़ना पहिराया। मइँ बेरमिया रह्यों, अउर तू मोर सेवा किहा। मइँ गिरपतार रह्यों, अउन तू मोरे लगे आया।’

³⁶ I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’

³⁷“फिन जवाबे मँ धर्मी मनई ओसे पुछिहइँ, ‘पर्भू, हम पचे तोहका कब भुखान लखा ह अउर खिआवा या पिआसा लखा अउर पिअइ क दिहा?

³⁷ “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink?

³⁸तोहका हम कब नगिचे स जात भवा अजनबी लखा अउर भितरे लइ गएन, या बेवस्तर के लखिके तोहका ओढ़ना पहिरावा?

³⁸ When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you?

³⁹अउ हम कब तोहका बेरमिया या गिरपतार लखा अउर तोहरे लगे आएन?’

³⁹ When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’

⁴⁰“फिन राजा जवाबे मँ ओनसे कही, “मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ जब कबहुँ तू मोर भोले भाले मनइयन मँ स कउनो एक बरे भी कछू किहा तउ उ तू मोरे बरे किहा।’

⁴⁰ “The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers The word for “brothers” here may be also correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” , you did it to me.’

⁴¹“फिन उ राजा आपन बाँई कइँती क मनइयन स कही, ‘अरे अभागे लोगो मोरे नगिचे स चला जा, अउ जउन आगी सइतान अउर ओकरे दूतन बरे तइयार कीन्ह गइ अहइ, उ अंनत आगी मँ जाइके कूद जा।

⁴¹ Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;

⁴²इहइ तोहार सजा अहइ काहेकि मइँ भुखान रह्यो पर तू मोका खाइके कछू नाहीं दिहा,

⁴² for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;

⁴³मइँ अनजान रहा पर तू मोका भितरे नाहीं लइ गया। मइँ बिन ओढ़ना क बेवस्तर रहा, पर तू मोका ओढ़ना नाहीं पहिराया। मइँ बेरमिया अउर गिरफ्तार रहा, पर तू मोरे कइँती धियान नाहीं दिया।’

⁴³ I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

⁴⁴“फिन उ सबइ भी जवाबे मँ ओसे पुछिहइँ, ‘पर्भू, हम तोहका भूखा या पिआसा या अनजान या बिना ओढ़ना क बेवस्तर या बेरमिया या गिरप्तार कब लखा अउर तोहार सेवा नाहीं कीन्ह’

⁴⁴ “Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’

⁴⁵“फिन उ जवाबे मँ ओनसे कही, मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ जब कबहुँ तू मोर इन भोले भाले मनवइयन मँ स कउनो एक क बरे लापरवाही बरत्या अउर नाहीं किहा उ मोरे बरे भी कछू करइ मँ लापरवाही बरती।’

⁴⁵ “Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’

⁴⁶“फिन इ सबइ बुरे लोग अनन्त सजा पइही अउ धर्मी मनई अनन्त जीवन मँ चला जइहीं।”

⁴⁶ These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
