¹इ सब बातन क कहि चुकइ क पाछे ईसू आपन चेलन स बोला,

¹It happened, when Jesus had finished all these words, that he said to his disciples,

²“तू पचे जानत ह कि दुइ दिना पाछे पसह क त्यौहार बाटइ। अउर मनई क पूत दुस्मनन क हाथन स क्रूसे प चढ़ाइ जाइ बरे पकड़वाइ जाइवाला अहइ।”

² “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

³तब मुख्ययाजकन अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन कैफ़ा नाउँ क महायाजक क घरे आँगन मँ ऍकट्ठा भएन।

³Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas.

⁴अउर उ पचे कउनो चाल स ईसू क धरइ अउर मार डावइ क छल करेन।

⁴They took counsel together that they might take Jesus by deceit, and kill him.

⁵फिन भी उ सबइ कहत रहेन, “हमका इ फसह क त्यौहार क दिनन मँ नाहीं करइ चाही। नाहीं तउ होइ सकत ह मनई दंगा फसाद कइ बइठइँ।”

⁵But they said, “Not during the feast, lest a riot occur among the people.”

⁶ईसू जब बैतनिय्याह मँ समौन कोढ़ी क घरे रहा।

⁶Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

⁷तबही एक स्त्री चिकना, स्फटिक क सीसी मँ बहोत महँग इतर भरिके लइ आई अउर ओका ओकरे मूँड़े प उड़ेल दिहस। उ समइ उ पटरा प टेक लगाइके निहुरा बइठा रहा।

⁷a woman came to him having an alabaster jar of very expensive ointment, and she poured it on his head as he sat at the table.

⁸जब ओकर चेलन क देखन तउ उ सबइ किरोध मँ आइके बोलेन, “इतर क अइसी बर्बादी काहे कीन्ह गइ?

⁸But when his disciples saw this, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste?

⁹इ इतर तउ महँग दामे मँ बिक सकत रहा अउर फिन उ धने क दीन दुखियन मँ बाँटि जाइ सकत रहा।”

⁹For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.”

¹⁰ईसू जानि गवा कि उ सबइ क कहत अहइँ। तउ ओनसे बोला, “तू इ स्त्री क काहे तंग करत अहा? उ तउ मोरे बरे एक सुन्नर काम करेस ह

¹⁰However, knowing this, Jesus said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? Because she has done a good work for me.

¹¹काहेकि दीन-दुखी तउ हमेसा तोहरे पास रइहीं पर मइँ तोहरे साथ हमेसा नाहीं रहब।

¹¹ For you always have the poor with you; but you don’t always have me.

¹²उ मोरे सरीर पइ सुगंधि छिरकिके मोरे गाड़ा जाइके तइयारी करेस ह।

¹² For in pouring this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

¹³मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ समूची दुनिया मँ जहँ कहूँ भी सुसमाचार क प्रचार अउर फइलाव कीन्ह जाइ, हुवँइ ऍकर याद मँ जउन कछू इ किहेस ह, ओकर चर्चा होई।”

¹³ Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of as a memorial of her.”

¹⁴तब यहूदा इस्करियोती जउन ओकर बारहु चेलन मँ एक रहा, मुख्ययाजकन क लगे गवा अउर ओसे बोला,

¹⁴Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests,

¹⁵“यदि मइँ ईसू क तोहका पकरवाइ देउँ तउ तू मननई मोका का देब्या?” तब उ पचे यहूदा क चाँदी क तीस रूपया देइ बरे इच्छा परगट किहेन।

¹⁵and said, “What are you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver.

¹⁶उहइ समइ स यहूदा ईसू क धिखा दइ के पकड़वावइ क ताक मँ रहइ लाग।

¹⁶From that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

¹⁷बिना खमिरे क रोटी क त्यौहार स पहिले दिन ईसू क चेलन आइके पूछेन, “तू का चाहत ह कि हम तोहरे खाइके बरे फसह भोज क तइयारी कहाँ जाइके करी?”

¹⁷Now on the first day of unleavened bread, the disciples came to Jesus, saying to him, “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”

¹⁸ईसू कहेस, “गाउँ मँ उ मननई क लगे जा अउर ओसे कहा, कि गुरु कहेस ह, ‘मोर तय भई घरी निगचे बाटइ, मइँ तोहरे घर आपन चेलन क संग फसह क त्यौहार मनावइ वाला अहउँ।”‘

¹⁸He said, “Go into the city to a certain person, and tell him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.”’”

¹⁹फिन चेलन वइसा ही करेन जइसा ईसू बताए रहा अउर फसह क त्यौहार क तइयारी किहन।

¹⁹The disciples did as Jesus commanded them, and they prepared the Passover.

²⁰दिन बूड़त ईसू आपन बारहु चेलन क संग पटरे पइ निहुरा बइठा रहा।

²⁰Now when evening had come, he was reclining at the table with the twelve disciples.

²¹तबहीं ओनके खइया क खात उ बोला, “मइँ सच कहत हउँ तोहमाँ स एक मोका धोखे स पकरवाई।”

²¹As they were eating, he said, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”

²²उ सबइ बहोत दुःखी भएन अउ ओनमाँ स हर कउनो आपुस मँ पूछइ लागेन, “पर्भू उ मइँ तउ नाहीं हउँ। बतावा का मइँ अहउँ।”

²²They were exceedingly sorrowful, and each began to ask him, “It isn’t me, is it, Lord?”

²³तब ईसू जवाब दिहस, “उहइ जउन मोरे संग एक टाठी मँ खात बा मोका धोखा स पकड़वाई।

²³He answered, “He who dipped his hand with me in the dish, the same will betray me.

²⁴मनई क पूत तउ जाई ही, अइसा कि ओकरे बारे मँ पवित्तर सास्तरन मँ लिखा बाटइ। मुला उ मनई क धिक्कार बा जउन मनई क जारिये मनई क पूत पकड़वाइ जात अहइ। उ मनई बरे केतॅना नीक होत कि ओकर जन्म ही न भवा रहत।”

²⁴ The Son of Man goes, even as it is written of him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

²⁵तब ओका धोखे स पकरवावइ वाला यहूदा बोलि उठा, “हे गुरु, उ मइँ नाहीं हउँ। का मइँ हउँ?” ईसू ओसे कहेस, “हाँ अइसा ही अहइ जइसा तू कह्या ह।”

²⁵Judas, who betrayed him, answered, “It isn’t me, is it, Rabbi?” He said to him, “You said it.”

²⁶जब उ पचे खइया क खात ही रहेन, ईसू रोटी लिहस, ओका असीसेस अउर फिन तोड़ेस। फिन ओका चेलन क देत भवा उ बोला, “ल्या ऍका भकोसा, इ मोर देह अहइ।”

²⁶As they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks for TR reads “blessed” instead of “gave thanks for” it, and broke it. He gave to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”

²⁷फिन उ दाखरस क खोरा उठाएस अउर धन्यबाद देइ क पाछे ओका ओन पचेन क देत भवा कहेस, “तू पचे एहमाँ स तनिक पिआ।

²⁷He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it,

²⁸काहेकि इ मोर खून अहइ जउन एक नवा वाचा की सुरुआत अहइ। इ बहोतन लोगन बरे बहाइ जात ह। जेसे ओनके पापन्क छमा करब संभउ होइ सकइ

²⁸ for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.

²⁹मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ उ दिना तक दाखरस न चीखब जब ताईं आपन परमपिता क राज्य मँ तोहरे साथ नवा दाखरस न पिउ लेउँ।”

²⁹ But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”

³⁰फिन उ पचे फसह क भजन गाइके जैतून पहाड़े प गएन।

³⁰When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

³¹फिन ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “आज राति तू पचन क मोह मँ बिसवास डुग जाई। काहेकि पवित्तर सास्तरन मँ लिखा अहइ: ‘मइँ गड़रिया क मारब अउर झुंड क भेड़न तितराइ बितराइ जइहीं।’ जकर्याह 13:7

³¹Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ Zechariah 13:7

³²पर फिन स जी जाए प मइँ तोहसे पचन्स पहिले गलिल चला जाब।”

³² But after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”

³³परतस जवाब दिहस, ‘चाहे सब मिला तोहमाँ बिसवास डुगाइ देइँ, मुला मइँ कबहूँ न खोउब।”

³³But Peter answered him, “Even if all will be made to stumble because of you, I will never be made to stumble.”

³⁴ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ आज इहइ राति मुर्गा क बाँग देइ स पहिले तू तीन दाईं मोका नकार जाब्या।”

³⁴Jesus said to him, “Most certainly I tell you that tonight, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”

³⁵तब पतरस ओसे कहेस, “अगर मोका तोहरे संग मरि जाइ क होइ तउ भी तोसे मइँ कबहूँ न मुकरब।” बाकी सब चेलन इहइ कहेन।

³⁵Peter said to him, “Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” All of the disciples also said likewise.

³⁶फिन ईसू ओकरे संग उ जगह प आवा जउन गतसमनी कहा जात रहा। अउर उ आपन चेलन स कहेस, “जब ताईं मइँ हुवाँ जाउँ अउर पराथना करउँ, तू सबे हियइँ बइठा।”

³⁶Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go there and pray.”

³⁷फिन ईसू पतरस अउर जब्दी क दुइनउँ बेटवन क आपन संग लइ गवा। अउर दुख अउ घबराहट महसूस करइ लाग।

³⁷He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and severely troubled.

³⁸फिन उ ओनसे कहेस, “मोर मन बहोत दुखी बा, जइसे मोर प्रान निकरि जइहीं। तू मोरे संग हिअँई ठहर जा अउर होसियार रहा।”

³⁸Then he said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch with me.”

³⁹फिन तनिक अगवा बढ़इ क बाद उ धरती प निहुरिके पराथना करइ लाग। उ कहेस, “हे, मोर परमपिता, जदि होइ सकइ तउ यातना क कटोरा मोसे टरि जाइ। फिन भी जइसा मइँ चाहत हउँ वइसा नाहीं मुला जइसा तू चाहत ह वइसा ही कर।”

³⁹He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

⁴⁰ओकरे पाछे उ आपन चेलन क लगे गवा अउर ओनका सोवत पाएस। उ परतस स कहेस, “तउ तू पचे मोर संग एक घंटा भी नाहीं जागि सक्या।

⁴⁰He came to the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What, couldn’t you watch with me for one hour?

⁴¹जागत रहा अउर पराथना करा जेसे तू परिच्छा मँ न पड़ि जा। तोहार आतिमा तउ उहइ करब चाहत ह जउन चंगा बा, मुला तोहार सरीर दुर्बल अहइ।”

⁴¹ Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

⁴²एक दाईं फिन उ जाइके पराथना किहेस अउर कहेस, “हे मोर परमपिता, जदि यातना क कटोर मोरे बगैर पिए टर नाहीं सकत तउ तोहार इच्छा पूरी होइ जाइ।”

⁴²Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cup can’t pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done.”

⁴³तब उ आवा अउ ओनका फिन सोवत पावा। उ पचेन क आँखन थकी रहिन।

⁴³He came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

⁴⁴तउ उ ओनका छोड़िके फिन गवा अउर तिसरी दाईं भी पहिले क नाईं ओनही सब्दन मँ पराथना करेस।

⁴⁴He left them again, went away, and prayed a third time, saying the same words.

⁴⁵फिन ईसू आपन चेलन क लगे गवा अउर ओनसे पूछेस, “का तू अबहुँ आराम स सोवत अहा? सुना, समइ आइ ग अहइ, जब मनई क पूत पापी मनइयन क हथवन मँ दइ दीन्ह जाई।

⁴⁵Then he came to his disciples, and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

⁴⁶उठा, आवा चली। देखा मोका धरइवाला इ बा।”

⁴⁶ Arise, let’s be going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”

⁴⁷ईसू जब बोलत रहा, यहूदा जउन बारहु चेलन मँ एक रहा, आवा। ओकरे संग तरवारन अउर लाठियन स लइस मुख्ययाजकन अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन क पठई एक भारी भीड़ भी रही।

⁴⁷While he was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priest and elders of the people.

⁴⁸यहूदा जउन ओका पकड़वावइ वाला रहा, ओनका एक इसारा बतावत भवा कहेस, “जउन कउनो क मइँ चुमउँ, उहइ होई, ओका धइ लिहा।”

⁴⁸Now he who betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, “Whoever I kiss, he is the one. Seize him.”

⁴⁹फिन उ सीधे ईसू क लगे गवा अउ बोला, “हे गुरु! अउर बस उ ईसू क चूम लिहेस।’

⁴⁹Immediately he came to Jesus, and said, “Hail, Rabbi!” and kissed him.

⁵⁰ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मीत, जउन काज बरे तू आइ अहा, ओका करा।” फिन भिड़िया क लोग लगे जाइके ईसू क दहबोच कइ गिरफ्तार कइ लिहन।

⁵⁰Jesus said to him, “Friend, why are you here?” Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

⁵¹फिन जउन मिला ईसू क संग रहेन, ओनमाँ स एक तरवार हींच लिहस अउर वार कर महायाजक क नउकर क कान काट लिहस।

⁵¹Behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear.

⁵²तब ईसू ओसे कहेस, “आपन तरवार क मियान मँ घुसेड़ द्या। जउन तरवार चलावत हीं उ पचे तरवारे स मार डावा जइहीं।

⁵²Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place, for all those who take the sword will die by the sword.

⁵³का तू नाहीं सोचत अहा कि मइँ आपन परमपिता क बोलाइ सकत हउँ अउ उ फउरन सरगे क दुतन क बारहु फउजन स भी जिआदा मोरे लगे पठइ देई?

⁵³ Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?

⁵⁴मुला मइँ अइसा करउँ तउ पवित्तर सास्तरन मँ लिखी बात कइसे पूर होइ जाई कि सब कछू अइसे ही होइ क अहइ?”

⁵⁴ How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?”

⁵⁵उहइ समइ ईसू भीड़े स कहेस, “तू पचे तरवारन, लाठियन क संग मोका धरवावइ अइसे काहे आइ अहा जइसे कउनो डाकू क धरइ आवत हीं? मइँ हर दिन मन्दिर मँ बइठा उपदेस देत रहत हउँ अउर तू पचे मोका नाहीं धर्‌या।

⁵⁵In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me.

⁵⁶मुला इ सब कछू घटि गवा कि नबियन क लिखा पूर होइ।” फिन ओकर चेलन ओका तजि क पराय गएन।

⁵⁶ But all this has happened, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him, and fled.

⁵⁷ईसू क जउन धरे रहेन, उ पचे ओका कैफ़ा नाउँ क महायाजक क समन्वा लइ गएन। हुवाँ धरम सास्तिरियन अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन भी ऍकट्ठा भएन।

⁵⁷Those who had taken Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together.

⁵⁸पतरस ओसे दूर-दूर रहत ओकरे पाछे-पाछे महायाजक क अंगना क भितरे तलक चला गवा। अउर फिन अंत देखइ हुवाँ पहरेदारन क संग बइठ गवा।

⁵⁸But Peter followed him from a distance, to the court of the high priest, and entered in and sat with the officers, to see the end.

⁵⁹मुहायाजकन समूची यहूदी महासभा क संग ईसू क मउत क सजा देइ बरे ओकरे खिलाफ कउनो झूठा जुर्म ढूँढ़इ बरे जतन करत रहेन।

⁵⁹Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus, that they might put him to death;

⁶⁰मुला ढूँढ नाहीं पाएन। जदपि बहोत स झूठे गवाहन अगवा बढ़िके झूठ बोलेन। आखिर मँ दुइ मनई अगवा आएन।

⁶⁰and they found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward,

⁶¹अउर बोलेन, “इ कहे रहा, ‘मइँ परमेस्सर क मंदिर क तहस नहस कइ सकत हउँ अउर तीन दिना मँ फिन बनाइ सकत हउँ।”‘

⁶¹and said, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.’”

⁶²फिन महायाजक खड़ा होइके ईसू स पूछेस, “का जवाबे मँ तोहका कछू नाहीं कहइ क अहइ कि इ मनइयन तोहरे खिलाफ इ का साच्छी देत अहइँ?”

⁶²The high priest stood up, and said to him, “Have you no answer? What is this that these testify against you?”

⁶³मुला ईसू खमोस रहा। फिन महायाजक ओसे पूछेस, “मइँ तोहका साच्छात परमेस्सर क सपथ देत हउँ, हमका बतावा का तू परमेस्सर क पूत मसीह अहा?”

⁶³But Jesus held his peace. The high priest answered him, “I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.”

⁶⁴ईसू जवाब दिहस, “हाँ, मइँ अहउँ। मुला मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ कि तू पचे मनई क पूत क उ परम सक्तीवाला क दाहिन कइँती बइठा अउर सरगे क बदखन प आवत हालि ही देखब्या।”

⁶⁴Jesus said to him, “You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.”

⁶⁵महायाजक इ सुनिके ऍतना गुस्साइ गवा कि आपन ओढ़ना फाड़त भवा बोला, “इ जउन बातन कहेस ह उ सब परमेस्सर प कलंक लगाएस ह। अब हमका अउर जिआदा साच्छी न चाही। तू पचे ऍका परमेस्सर क खिलाफ कहत सुन्या ह।

⁶⁵Then the high priest tore his clothing, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.

⁶⁶तू पचे का सोचत अहा?” जवाबे मँ उ पचे बोलेन, “इ अपराधी अहइ। ऍका मरि जाइ चाही।”

⁶⁶What do you think?” They answered, “He is worthy of death!”

⁶⁷फिन उ सबइ ओकरे मुँहना प थूकेन अउ ओका घूँसा स मारेन। कछू थप्पड़ दिहेन।

⁶⁷Then they spit in his face and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him,

⁶⁸अउर कहेन, “हे मसीह! भविस्सबाणी करा कि उ कउन अहइ जउन तोहका थोकरेस ह।”

⁶⁸saying, “Prophesy to us, you Christ! Who hit you?”

⁶⁹पतरस अबहीं अंगना मँ बाहेर बइठा रहा कि एक ठु नउकरानी लगे आइ अउर बोली, “तू भी तउ उहइ गलील क ईसू क संग रह्या।”

⁶⁹Now Peter was sitting outside in the court, and a maid came to him, saying, “You were also with Jesus, the Galilean!”

⁷⁰मुला सबइ क समन्वा पतरस मुकर गवा। उ कहेस, “मोका पता नाहीं तू का कहति अहा।”

⁷⁰But he denied it before them all, saying, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

⁷¹फिन उ ड्यौढ़ी तलक गवा ही रहा कि एक दूसर मेहरारू देखेस अउर जउन मनई हुवाँ रहेन, ओनसे बोली, “इ मनई नासरत क ईसू क संग रहा।”

⁷¹When he had gone out onto the porch, someone else saw him, and said to those who were there, “This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth.”

⁷²एक दाईं फिन पतरस इन्कार करेस अउर सपथ खात भवा कहेस, “मइँ उ मनई क नाहीं जानत हउँ।”

⁷²Again he denied it with an oath, “I don’t know the man.”

⁷³तनिक देर पाछे हुवाँ खड़ा लोग पतरस क लगे गएन अउर ओसे बोलेन, “तोहार बोलइ क लहजा स साफ लागत ह कि तू असिल मँ ओनही मँ स एक अहा।”

⁷³After a little while those who stood by came and said to Peter, “Surely you are also one of them, for your speech makes you known.”

⁷⁴तब पतरस आपन क धिक्कारइ लाग अउर सपथ खाएस, “मइँ उ व्यक्ति क नाहीं जानत हउँ!” तबहिं मुर्गा बाँग दिहस।

⁷⁴Then he began to curse and to swear, “I don’t know the man!” Immediately the rooster crowed.

⁷⁵तब्बइ पतरस क उ याद होइ आवा जउन ईसू ओसे कहे रहा, “मुर्गा क बाँग देइ स पहिले तू तीन दाईं मोका नकार देब्या।” तब पतरस बाहेर चला गवा अउ फूट फूट क रोवइ लाग।

⁷⁵Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” He went out and wept bitterly.
