¹Bulahan ang tawo nga wala magalakaw sa tambag sa mga dautan, Ni magatindog sa dalan sa mga makasasala, Ni magalingkod sa mga lingkoranan sa mga mayubiton:

¹O the happiness of that one, who Hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked. And in the way of sinners hath not stood, And in the seat of scorners hath not sat;

²Kondili anaa sa Kasugoan ni Jehova ang iyang kalipay; Ug sa Kasugoan niya nagapalandong siya sa adlaw ug sa gabii.

²But — in the law of Jehovah [is] his delight, And in His law he doth meditate by day and by night:

³Ug siya mahisama sa kahoy nga natanum sa daplin sa kasapaan sa tubig, Nga nagadala sa iyang bunga sa iyang panahon, Kansang dahon usab dili malaya, Ug bisan unsa nga ginabuhat niya magamauswagon.

³And he hath been as a tree, Planted by rivulets of water, That giveth its fruit in its season, And its leaf doth not wither, And all that he doth he causeth to prosper.

⁴Dili ingon niini ang mga dautan, Kondili ingon sa uhot nga ginapalid sa hangin.

⁴Not so the wicked: But — as chaff that wind driveth away!

⁵Busa dili magatindog ang mga dautan sa paghukom, Ni ang mga makasasala diha sa katilingban sa mga matarung.

⁵Therefore the wicked rise not in judgment, Nor sinners in the company of the righteous,

⁶Kay naila ni Jehova ang dalan sa mga matarung; Apan ang dalan sa mga dautan mawala.

⁶For Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, And the way of the wicked is lost!
