1Ug sa pagkadungog sa reina sa Seba sa kabantug ni Salomon mahatungod sa ngalan ni Jehova, siya miadto aron sa pagsulay kaniya sa mga malisud nga pangutana.
1And the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon in connection with the name of Jehovah, and came to prove him with enigmas.
2Ug siya miadto sa Jerusalem uban ang usa ka dakung panon nga magsusunod, uban ang mga camello nga gilulanan sa mga panakot, ug daghan uyamut nga bulawan, ug mga mahal nga bato: ug sa paghiabut niya kang Salomon, siya nakigsulti kaniya mahitungod sa tanan nga dinha sa iyang kasingkasing.
2And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bore spices and gold in very great abundance, and precious stones; and she came to Solomon, and spoke to him of all that was in her heart.
3Ug gisuginlan siya ni Salomon sa tanan niyang pangutana: walay tinipigan nga bisan unsa gikan sa hari nga wala niya ikasugilon kaniya.
3And Solomon explained to her all she spoke of: there was not a thing hidden from the king that he did not explain to her.
4Ug sa nakita sa reina sa Seba ang tanang kaalam ni Salomon, ug ang balay nga iyang gitukod,
4And when the queen of Sheba saw all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,
5Ug ang makaon diha sa iyang lamesa, ug ang pagpahamutang sa iyang mga alagad, ug ang pagtindog sa iyang mga mag-aalagad, ug ang ilang mga pagpamisti, ug ang iyang mga magdadala sa copa, ug ang iyang tungasan sa mitungas siya ngadto sa balay ni Jehova: wala nay espiritu kaniya.
5and the food of his table, and the deportment of his servants, and the order of service of his attendants, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Jehovah, there was no more spirit in her.
6Ug siya miingon sa hari: Maoy usa ka matuod nga sugilon nga akong nadunggan sa akong yuta sa imong mga buhat, ug sa imong kaalam.
6And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine affairs, and of thy wisdom;
7Apan ako wala motoo sa mga pulong, hangtud nga ako mianhi, ug ang akong mga mata nakakita niini: ug, ania karon, ang katunga wala isugilon kanako; ang imong kaalam ug kauswagan minglabaw sa kabantug nga akong nadungog.
7but I gave no credit to the words, until I came and mine eyes had seen; and behold, the half was not told me: in wisdom and prosperity thou exceedest the report that I heard.
8Malipayon ang imong mga tawo, malipayon kining imong mga alagad nga nagtindog kanunay sa imong atubangan, ug nakadungog sa imong kaalam.
8Happy are thy men! happy are these thy servants, who stand continually before thee, who hear thy wisdom!
9Bulahan si Jehova nga imong Dios, nga nalipay diha kanimo, sa pagbutang kanimo sa ibabaw sa trono sa Israel; tungod kay si Jehova nahigugma sa Israel sa walay katapusan, busa ikaw gihimo niya nga hari aron sa pagbuhat sa justicia ug pagkamatarung.
9Blessed be Jehovah thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel! Because Jehovah loves Israel for ever, therefore did he make thee king, to do judgment and justice.
10Ug iyang gihatagan ang hari ug usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka talento nga bulawan, ug daku kaayo nga lulan sa mga panakot, ug mga bato nga mahal walay ingon nga gidaghanon sa mga panakot sama sa gihatag sa reina sa Seba kang hari Salomon.
10And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in very great abundance, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as those which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
11Ug ang panon sa mga sakayan usab ni Hiram, nga nagdala sa bulawan gikan sa Ophir, nagdala gikan sa Ophir sa daghan kaayong mga kahoy nga almug, ug mga mahal nga bato.
11(And the fleet also of Hiram, which carried gold from Ophir, brought from Ophir sandal-wood in very great abundance, and precious stones.
12Ug gihimo sa hari ang mga haligi sa balay ni Jehova sa mga kahoy nga almug, ug alang sa balay sa hari, mga alpa usab, ug mga kinuldasan nga mga tulonggon alang sa mga mag-aawit: walay ingon sa mga kahoy nga almug, walay nakita usab hangtud niining adlawa.
12And the king made of the sandal-wood a balustrade for the house of Jehovah, and for the king's house, and harps and lutes for the singers. There came no such sandal-wood, nor was there seen to this day.)
13Ug si hari Salomon mihatag sa reina sa Seba sa tibook niyang tinguha, bisan unsay iyang gipangayo, gawas sa gihatag ni Salomon kaniya sa iyang harianong hatag. Busa siya mitalikod, ug miadto sa iyang kaugalingong yuta, siya ug ang iyang mga alagad.
13And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she asked, besides what he gave her of the bounty of king Solomon. And she turned and went to her own land, she and her servants.
14Ug ang gibug-aton sa bulawan nga ming-abut kang Salomon sa usa ka tuig unom ka gatus ug kan-uman ug unom ka talento sa bulawan.
14And the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
15Gawas niadtong gidala sa magbabaligya, ug ang mga patigayon sa mga magpapatigayon, ug sa tanang mga hari sa nagkasakot nga katawohan, ug sa mga gobernador sa yuta.
15besides what [came] by the dealers, and by the traffic of the merchants, and by all the kings of Arabia, and by the governors of the country.
16Ug si hari Salomon naghimo sa duha ka gatus nga kalasag sa pinikpik nga bulawan; unom ka gatus ka siclo nga diha sa usa ka kalasag.
16And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold, -- he applied six hundred [shekels] of gold to one target;
17Ug iyang gihimo ang totolo ka gatus ka taming sa pinikpik nga bulawan: totolo ka libra sa bulawan nga diha sa usa ka taming: ug gibutang sila sa hari diha sa balay sa kalasangan sa Libano.
17and three hundred shields of beaten gold, -- he applied three minas of gold to one shield; and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
18Labut pa, ang hari naghimo sa usa ka dakung trono nga garing, ug gipanauran kini sa labing lunsay nga bulawan.
18And the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with refined gold:
19Dihay unom ka ang-ang ngadto sa trono, ug ang dapit nga hataas malingin sa likod; ug may mga sandiganan sa luyo ug luyo duol sa dapit sa trono, ug duruha ka leon nga nanagtindog tupad sa sandiganan.
19the throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was rounded behind; and there were arms on each side at the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the arms;
20Ug napulo ug duha ka leon nanagtindog sa usa ka daplin, ug sa laing daplin sa ibabaw sa unom ka ang-ang: walay maingon nga gibuhat sa bisan diing gingharian.
20and twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.
21Ug ang tanang mga ilimnan ni hari Salomon mga bulawan, ug ang tanang mga sudlanan sa balay sa kalasangan sa Libano mga lunsay bulawan: walay mausa nga salapi; kini walay bili sa mga adlaw ni Salomon.
21And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of precious gold: none were of silver, [which] was not of the least account in the days of Solomon.
22Kay didto sa dagat diha ang usa ka panon nga sakayan sa Tarsis nga iya sa hari, uban sa panon nga sakayan ni Hiram: makausa sa taggutlo ka tuig nga mahianha ang panon nga sakayan sa Tarsis, nanagdala sa bulawan, ug salapi, garing, ug mga onggoy, ug mga pabo-real.
22For the king had on the sea a Tarshish-fleet, with the fleet of Hiram: once in three years came the Tarshish-fleet, bringing gold and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
23Busa si hari Salomon milabaw sa tanang mga hari sa yuta sa kadato ug sa kaalam.
23And king Solomon was greater than all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.
24Ug ang tibook kalibutan nagpangita sa pagtan-aw kang Salomon, sa pagpamati sa iyang kaalam nga gibutang sa Dios sa iyang kasingkasing.
24And all the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
25Ug sila nagdala tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang buhis, mga sudlanan nga salapi, ug mga sudlanan nga bulawan, ug mga saput, ug hinagiban, ug mga panakot, mga kabayo, ug mga mula usa ka buhis tuig-tuig.
25And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and clothing, and armour, and spices, horses and mules, a rate year by year.
26Ug gihipos ni Salomon ang mga carro, ug mga mangangabayo: ug siya may usa ka libo ug upat ka gatus ka mga carro, ug napulo ug duha ka libo nga mangangabayo, nga iyang gibutang diha sa mga ciudad sa carro, ug kauban sa hari sa Jerusalem.
26And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; and he had a thousand four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; and he placed them in the chariot-cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
27Ug gihimo sa hari nga sa Jerusalem, ang salapi mahisama sa mga bato, ug ang mga cedro gihimo niya ingon sa mga kahoy nga sicomoro, nga anaa nagadasok sa kapatagan.
27And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he as the sycamores that are in the lowland for abundance.
28Ug ang mga kabayo nga diha kang Salomon dinala gikan sa Egipto; ug ang mga magpapatigayon sa hari nagdawat kanila sa panon, tagsatagsa ka panon may bili.
28And the exportation of horses that Solomon had was from Egypt: a caravan of the king's merchants fetched a drove [of horses], at a price.
29Ug usa ka carro nahianha ug migikan sa Egipto sa unom ka gatus ka siclo nga salapi, ug usa ka kabayo sa usa ka gatus ug kalim-an; ug ingon man sa tanang mga hari sa mga Hetehanon, ug sa mga hari sa Siria, sila gidala nila sa ilang kamot.
29And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; and so they brought [them] by their means, for all the kings of the Hittites and for the kings of Syria.
