¹Ug nahitabo sa human matukod ni Salomon ang balay ni Jehova, ug ang balay sa hari, ug ang tanang mga tinguha ni Salomon nga iyang gikalipay sa pagbuhat,

¹And it came to pass when Solomon had completed the building of the house of Jehovah, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do,

²Nga si Jehova mipakita kang Salomon sa ikaduha, ingon sa iyang pagpakita kaniya didto sa Gabaon.

²that Jehovah appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.

³Ug si Jehova miingon kaniya: Nabati ko ang imong pag-ampo ug sa imong pagpakilooy, nga imong ginahimo sa akong atubangan; gibalaan ko kining balaya, nga imong gitukod, aron ibutang didto ang akong ngalan sa walay katapusan; ug ang akong mga mata ug akong kasingkasing atua didto sa kanunay:

³And Jehovah said to him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication which thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

⁴Ug mahitungod kanimo, kong ikaw maglakaw sa akong atubangan, ingon nga si David nga imong amahan naglakaw sa pagkahingpit sa kasingkasing ug sa katul-id, sa pagbuhat sa tanan nga akong ginasugo kanimo, ug magtuman sa akong kabalaoran ug sa akong mga tulomanon;

⁴And [as for] thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, [and] wilt keep my statutes and mine ordinances;

⁵Nan lig-onon ko ang trono sa imong gingharian sa Israel sa walay katapusan, sumala sa akong gisaad kang David nga imong amahan, sa pag-ingon. Walay makulang kanimo nga tawo sa trono sa Israel.

⁵then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom over Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

⁶Apan kong tumalikod ka gikan sa pagsunod kanako, kamo kun ang inyong mga anak, ug dili magbantay sa akong kasugoan ug sa akong kabalaoran nga akong gibutang sa inyong atubangan, moadto hinoon ug moalagad sa laing mga dios, ug magsimba kanila;

⁶[But] if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments, my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them;

⁷Unya putlon ko ang Israel gikan sa yuta nga akong gihatag kanila; ug kining balay nga akong gibalaan tungod sa akong ngalan isalikway ko gikan sa akong pagtan-aw; ug ang Israel mahimong usa ka sanglitanan ug usa ka pagya sa taliwala sa mga katawohan.

⁷then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and the house, which I have hallowed to my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a by word among all peoples;

⁸Ug bisan kining balaya habog kaayo, apan ang tagsatagsa sa mga makaagi niini mahitingala ug magsitsit nga mayubiton; ug sila moingon: Ngano nga gibuhat ni Jehova ang ingon niining yutaa ug niining balaya?

⁸and this house, [which] is high, every one that passes by it shall be astonished at, and shall hiss, and they shall say, Why has Jehovah done thus to this land and to this house?

⁹Ug sila motubag: Tungod kay ilang gisalikway si Jehova nga ilang Dios, nga nagdala sa ilang mga amahan gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, ug nagsalig sa laing mga dios ug nanagsimba, ug nanag-alagad kanila: busa gipadala ni Jehova kining tanang kadautan kanila.

⁹And they shall say, Because they forsook Jehovah their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have attached themselves to other gods, and have worshipped them and served them; therefore has Jehovah brought upon them all this evil.

¹⁰Ug nahitabo sa katapusan sa kaluhaan ka tuig, sa panahon nga si Salomon nakatukod sa duha ka balay, ang balay ni Jehova ug ang balay sa hari,

¹⁰And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of Jehovah and the king's house,

¹¹(Karon si Hiram ang hari sa Tiro naghatag kang Salomon sa mga kahoy nga cedro ug haya, ug lakip ang bulawan, sumala sa tanan niyang tinguha) nga si Salomon nga hari mihatag kang Hiram ug kaluhaan ka ciudad sa yuta sa Galilea.

¹¹Hiram the king of Tyre having furnished Solomon with cedar-trees and cypress-trees, and with gold, according to all his desire, -- that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

¹²Ug si Hiram migula sa Tiro aron sa pagtan-aw sa mga ciudad nga gihatag kaniya ni Salomon: ug kini wala makapahimuot kaniya.

¹²And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities that Solomon had given him; and they did not please him.

¹³Unsang mga ciudara kining gihatag mo kanako, igsoon ko? Ug iyang gitawag kini nga yuta sa Cabul hangtud niining adlawa.

¹³And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul to this day.

¹⁴Ug si Hiram nagpadala ngadto sa hari usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka talento nga bulawan.

¹⁴And Hiram had sent to the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold.

¹⁵Ug mao kini ang hinungdan sa pagtigum sa mga tawo nga gihimo ni hari Salomon; aron sa pagtukod sa balay ni Jehova, ug sa iyang kaugalingong balay, ug ang Millo ug ang kuta sa Jerusalem, ug Hazor, ug Meggiddo, ug Gezer.

¹⁵And this is the account of the levy which king Solomon raised, to build the house of Jehovah, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

¹⁶Si Faraon ang hari sa Egipto mitungas, ug gikuha ang Gezer, ug gisunog kini sa kalayo, ug gipamatay ang taga-Canaan nga nanagpuyo diha sa ciudad, ug gihatag kini nga usa ka bahin sa iyang anak nga babaye, ang asawa ni Salomon.

¹⁶-- Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up and taken Gezer, and burned it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it as a dowry to his daughter, Solomon's wife.

¹⁷Ug gitukod ni Salomon ang Gezer, ug ang Beth-oron ang sa ubos-ubos,

¹⁷-- And Solomon built Gezer, and lower Beth-horon,

¹⁸Ug ang Baalath, ug ang Tadmor didto sa kamingawan, didto sa yuta,

¹⁸and Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land,

¹⁹Ug ang tanang mga ciudad nga tipiganan nga diha kang Salomon, ug ang mga ciudad sa iyang mga carro, ug ang mga ciudad sa iyang mangangabayo, ug ang gitinguha nga tukoron ni Salomon alang sa iyang pagkalipay sa Jerusalem, ug sa Libano ug diha sa tibook yuta sa iyang gingharian.

¹⁹and all the store-cities that Solomon had, and cities for chariots, and cities for the horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and on Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

²⁰Ug mahitungod sa tanang katawohan nga nahibilin sa mga Amorehanon, sa mga Hetehanon, sa mga Peresehanon, sa mga Hebehanon, ug sa mga Jebusehanon, nga dili sa mga anak sa Israel:

²⁰All the people that were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the children of Israel,

²¹Ang ilang mga anak nga nanghibilin sunod kanila diha sa yuta, nga wala mahimo sa pagwagtang sa mga anak sa Israel, kanila si Salomon naghimo ug pagtigum sa mga tawo sa ilalum sa kaulipnan hangtud niining adlawa.

²¹their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel were not able utterly to destroy, upon them did Solomon impose a tribute of bondservice until this day.

²²Apan sa mga anak sa Israel si Salomon wala maghimo kanila nga ulipon; apan sila mao ang mga tawo sa gubat, ug iyang mga alagad, ug iyang mga principe, ug iyang mga capitan, ug mga magbubuot sa iyang mga carro ug sa iyang mga kabayo.

²²But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen; but they were men of war, and his servants, and his chiefs, and his captains, and captains of his chariots, and his horsemen.

²³Kini mao ang mga may katungdanan nga dinha sa mga buhat ni Salomon, lima ka gatus ug kalim-an nga nanagpangulo sa ibabaw sa katawohan nga nangunay pagbuhat.

²³These were the chief superintendents that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, that ruled over the people that wrought in the work.

²⁴Apan ang anak nga babaye ni Faraon migula sa ciudad ni David ngadto sa iyang balay nga gitukod ni Salomon alang kaniya: unya gitukod niya ang Millo.

²⁴But Pharaoh's daughter came up out of the city of David to her house which he had built for her: then he built Millo.

²⁵Ug makatolo sa usa ka tuig nga si Salomon naghalad sa mga halad-nga-sinunog, ug mga halad-sa-pakigdait sa ibabaw sa halaran nga iyang gitukod kang Jehova, nagasunog sa incienso didto sa ibabaw sa halaran nga dinha sa atubangan ni Jehova. Busa natapus niya ang balay.

²⁵And three times in the year did Solomon offer up burnt-offerings and peace-offerings upon the altar that he had built to Jehovah, and he burned incense upon that which was before Jehovah. So he finished the house.

²⁶Ug si hari Salomon naghimo ug usa ka panon sa mga sakayan sa Eziongeber, nga anaa tupad sa Elath sa baybayon sa Dagat nga Mapula, sa yuta sa Edom.

²⁶And king Solomon made a fleet of ships in Ezion-Geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.

²⁷Ug si Hiram nagpatipon diha sa panon sa mga sakayan sa iyang mga alagad, nga mga magsasakay, nga may kahibalo sa dagat, uban sa mga alagad ni Salomon.

²⁷And Hiram sent in the fleet his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon;

²⁸Ug sila ming-adto sa Ophir, ug nakadala gikan didto sa bulawan, nga upat ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka talento, ug gidala kini ngadto kang hari Salomon.

²⁸and they went to Ophir, and fetched thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.
