1Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,
2Deboto na taotao, yan maañao as Yuus contodo y guimaña, ni y janae limosna gui taotao, yan jatatayuyutja siempre si Yuus.
2a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.
3Jalie gui vision claroja y angjet Yuus na mamamaela guiya güiya gui mina nuebe na ora gui jaane, ya ilelegña nu güiya: Cornelio.
3At about the ninth hour of the day , he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, “Cornelius!”
4Ya anae jaatan, ninamaañao, ya ilegña: Jafa Señot? Ya ilegña nu güiya: Y tinayuyutmo yan y limosnamo, manmato julo para umajaso gui menan Yuus.
4He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, “What is it, Lord?” He said to him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

5Now send men to Joppa, and get Simon, who is surnamed Peter.

6He lodges with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside.

7When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.
8Ya anae jasangane sija todo ni este na güinaja, jatago sija para Joppe.
8Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.
9¶ Ya y inagpaña anae manjajanao gui jinanaoñija, ya manjijot gui siuda, cajulo si Pedro gui jilo guma para ufanaetae, gui mina saes na ora.
9Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.
10Ya mato y niñalangña, ya malago na uchocho: ya mientras mafamaulilique naña nu sija, malingo y jinasoña.
10He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.
11Ya jalie y langet na mababa, yan un nayan na tumunog para iya güiya, taegüije y dangculon sabanas na magogode y cuatro punta ya mapolo papa, gui jilo tano;
11He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,
12Ya mañañajguan todo clasen gâgâ ni y cuatro patasñija, yan y gâgâ ni y mangucunanaf gui jilo y tano, yan y pajaro sija gui aire.
12in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky.
13Ya mato un inagang guiya güiya, ilegña: Cajulo Pedro: puno ya uncano.
13A voice came to him, “Rise, Peter, kill and eat!”
14Lao si Pedro ilegña: Aje Señot; sa guajo ti guinen juchocho ni jafa na güinaja ni y comun pat áplacha.
14But Peter said, “Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”
15Ya y inagang mato guiya güiya talo gui mina dos biaje, ilegña: Jafa y janagasgas si Yuus, chamo fumatitinas comun.
15A voice came to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean.”
16Ya este mafatinas pot tres biaje; ya enseguidas y nayan machule julo talo gui langet.
16This was done three times, and immediately the vessel was received up into heaven.
17¶ Ya mientras bumuebuente gui sumenjalom si Pedro ni y jafa liniiña na vision, estagüiya sija y taotao ni y manmatago guinin as Cornelio, na manmamamaesen ni y guima Simon ya manotojgue gui trangca.
17Now while Peter was very perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood before the gate,
18Ya managang, ya manmamaesen cao sumasaga güije si Simon ni y apiyiduña Pedro.
18and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.
19Ya mientras jajajaso si Pedro y vision, y Espiritu ilegña nu güiya: Estagüe tres taotao na maaliligao jao.
19While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men seek you.
20Cajulo ya tunog papa, chamo bumuebuente na unjanao yan sija, sa guajo tumago sija.
20But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.”
21Ya si Pedro tumunog papa para ayo taotao sija ya ilegña: Estagüiyayo ni y inaliligao; jafa guaja na inaliligaoyo?
21Peter went down to the men, and said, “Behold, I am he whom you seek. Why have you come?”
22Ya sija ilegñija: Si Cornelio ni y senturion, un taotao na tunas yan maañao as Yuus, yan guaja mauleg na testimonio gui entalo todo y nasion y Judio sija, sa ninatungo as Yuus pot y Santos na angjet ni y tinago jao na unjalom gui guimaña, ya ufanjungog finijo guiya jago.
22They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say.”
23¶ Ya jaagang sija na ufanjalom, ya ufañaga. Ya y inagpaña jumanao si Pedro yan sija, yan palo gui mañelo ni y manguinin Joppe maosgaejon güe,
23So he called them in and lodged them. On the next day Peter arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
24Ya y inagpaña talo na jaane, manjalom Sesarea. Ya manninanangga as Cornelio, ya jaagange y manparientesña yan y amiguña sija ni y guesmanatungo.
24On the next day they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.
25Ya susede anae jumalom si Pedro, na tinagam as Cornelio, ya dumimo papa ya inadora güe.
25When it happened that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.
26Lao jinatsa as Pedro, ya ilegña: Tojgue julo, sa guajo taotaojayo locue.
26But Peter raised him up, saying, “Stand up! I myself am also a man.”
27Ya anae cumuecuentos y dos, jumalom, ya jasoda megae ni y manmato ya mandaña;
27As he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.
28Ya si Pedro ilegña nu sija: Intingoja na ti combiene y Judios na taotao na udaña patseno ufato gui otro na nasion; lao jasanganeyo si Yuus na chajo umaalog ni jaye na taotao na áplacha, pat comun:
28He said to them, “You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean.
29Enaomina matoyo guiya jamyo, sin jafa na sinangan, enseguidas qui matagoyo. Ya jufaesen jamyo jafa malagonmiyo na innamaagangeyo?
29Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?”
30Ya si Cornelio ilegña: Cuatro na jaane asta este na ora, estabayo juadadaje y mina nuebe na oran tinayuyut gui jalom gumajo, ya estaba un taotao na tumotojgue gui menajo na malag magaguña.
30Cornelius said, “Four days ago, I was fasting until this hour, and at the ninth hour, I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31Ya ilelegña: Cornelio, y tinayuyutmo majungog, yan y limosnamo manmajaso gui menan Yuus.
31and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.
32Fanago para Joppe, ya umaagange si Simon, ni y apiyiduña Pedro: na sumasaga gui guima un Simon titumo, gui oriyan tase;
32Send therefore to Joppa, and summon Simon, who is surnamed Peter. He lodges in the house of Simon a tanner, by the seaside. When he comes, he will speak to you.’
33Enaomina enseguidas junamaagange jao; ya mauleg finatinasmo sa mato jao. Pago estagüejit todos gui menan Yuus, para injingog todo y tinago jao as Señot.
33Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by God.”
34¶ Ayonae si Pedro, jababa y pachotña, ya ilegña: Jutungo magajet na si Yuus taya janasasajnge taotao.
34Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism;
35Lao gui todo na nasion masqueseaja jaye ni y maaañao nu güiya, yan jafatitinas y tininas, ayo jaguaeya.
35but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
36Y sinangan ni y janamanajanao si Yuus para y famaguon Israel, mapredica y pas pot si Jesucristo: (güiya y Señot para todo)--
36The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all—
37Ayo na sinangan, jamyo intingoja y masanganñaejon todo guiya Judea, ya matutujon guiya Galilea, despues di y tinagpange ni y japredica si Juan:
37you yourselves know what happened, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38Güiya si Jesus Nasareno; jaftaemano si Yuus japalae ni y Espiritu Santo yan y ninasiña: ya jumajanao ya jafatitinas y mauleg, yan janafanjomlo todo ayo sija y manchinichiguet ni y anite; sa sumisija yan Yuus.
38even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
39Ya jame mantestigo todo y güinaja ni y finatinasña gui tano Judios, yan iya Jerusalem; ayo y japuno sija, ya jacana gui trongcon jayo:
39We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they also killed, hanging him on a tree.
40Güiya ninacajulo as Yuus gui mina tres na jaane, ya japolo ya ufinanue güe senclaroja,
40God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,
41Ti para todo y taotao, lao para y testigo sija ni y manmaayeg antes as Yuus; junggan, para jita, ni y guinin manjita mañocho yan manguimen despues di cajulo guinin y manmatae.
41not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
42Ya jatagojit na tapredica gui taotao sija, yan tanamatungo na güiya tinancho as Yuus para ujuyong Jues y manlalâlâ yan y manmatae.
42He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.
43Pot güiya na manmannae todo y profeta testimonio, na pot y naanña, jayeja y jumongue güe uresibe inasiin y isao.
43All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.”
44¶ Ya mientras jasanganja trabia si Pedro este sija na sinangan, y Espiritu Santo podong gui jilo ayo sija todo y jumujungog y sinangan.
44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.
45Ya ayo sija y manmasirconsida ni y manmanjonggue, ninafanmanman, ya megae manmato as Pedro, sa asta y Gentiles locue manmachudae ni y ninaen y Espiritu Santo.
45They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.
46Sa jajungog na manguecuentos ni y jilañija, ya manadangculo si Yuus. Ayonae manope si Pedro, ilegña:
46For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,
47Jaye siña na taotao chumoma y janom para ti ufanmatagpange este sija y rumesibe y Espiritu Santo taegüine iya jita?
47“Can any man forbid the water, that these who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we should not be baptized?”
48Ya jatago sija na ujafanmatagpange ni y naan Jesucristo. Ya matayuyut güe na ufañaga unos cuantos na jaane.
48He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay some days.
