1YA mato güe locue Derbe yan Lystra: Ya estagüe, estaba güije un disipulo na y naanña si Timoteo, lajin un palaoan Judio, ni y manjonggue; lao y tataña Griego.
1He came to Derbe and Lystra: and behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewess who believed; but his father was a Greek.
2Ya gosmauleg y famaña gui mañelo ni y mangaegue Lystra yan Iconio.
2The brothers who were at Lystra and Iconium gave a good testimony about him.
3Güiya malago Pablo na ujasija jumanao: ya quinene ya ninamasirconsida, sa pot y Judio sija ni y mangaegue güije na lugat: sa todoja tumungo na y tataña Griego.
3Paul wanted to have him go out with him, and he took and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts; for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
4Ya anae jajanagüe todo y siuda sija, manmanae para ujaadaje, y tinago sija, ni y tinago y apostoles yan y manamco ni y mangaegue guiya Jerusalem.
4As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered the decrees to them to keep which had been ordained by the apostles and elders who were at Jerusalem.
5Ayonae y iglesia sija nae mumemetgot y jinenggue, ya lumalamegae y numero cada jaane.
5So the assemblies were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily.
6¶ Ya anae jajanagüe todo inanacon tanon Frygia, yan Galasia, ya manchinema ni y Espiritu Santo na ujapredica y sinangan guiya Asia;
6When they had gone through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.
7Ya anae manmato jijot y Misia, manmalago na ufanjanao para Bitinia: lao ti manpinelo ni y Espiritun Jesus na ufanjanao;
7When they had come opposite Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit didn’t allow them.
8Ya manmalofan oriyan Misia, ya manunog Troas.
8Passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas.
9Ya anae puenge, jalie si Pablo un vision, na un taotao Masedonia, tumotojgue güije ya gumagagao güe ilegña: Mamaela mague guiya Masedonia ya unayudajam.
9A vision appeared to Paul in the night. There was a man of Macedonia standing, begging him, and saying, “Come over into Macedonia and help us.”
10Ya anae munjayan jalie y vision, enseguidas manmalagojam na manjanao para Masedonia, ya pinelonmame na y Señot umagangjam para inpredica y ibangelio guiya sija.
10When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go out to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the Good News to them.

11Setting sail therefore from Troas, we made a straight course to Samothrace, and the day following to Neapolis;
12Ya desde ayo asta Filipos, ni y mas dangculo na siuda güije na patte guiya Masedonia, yan un colonia romana: ya mañagajam güije na siuda unos cuantos na jaane.
12and from there to Philippi, which is a city of Macedonia, the foremost of the district, a Roman colony. We were staying some days in this city.
13Ya y sabado na jaane, manjanaojam juyong gui siuda gui oriyan sadog, anae pinelonmame un lugat tinayuyut: ya manmatachongjam ya incuentuse y famalaoan sija ni y mandaña güije.
13On the Sabbath day we went forth outside of the city by a riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down, and spoke to the women who had come together.
14Ya un palaoan na y naanña si Lydia, na manbebende purpura gui siudad Tiatira, ni y jaadodora si Yuus, jajungogjam; sa binaba y corasonña ni y Señot para uatituye y jasasangan si Pablo.
14A certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one who worshiped God, heard us; whose heart the Lord opened to listen to the things which were spoken by Paul.
15Ya anae matagpange y palaoan, yan y guimaña, jagagaojam ilegña: Yaguin injisga na fiet yo gui Señot, fanjalom gui guimajo, ya infañaga güije. Ya jaafuetsasjam.
15When she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and stay.” So she persuaded us.
16¶ Ya susede anae manjanaojam para lugat tinayuyut, na manasodajam yan un patgon na palaoan na gae espiritu Pitonico, ni y janafangana megae y amuña pot y manadibibina:
16It happened, as we were going to prayer, that a certain girl having a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much gain by fortune telling.
17Ya jadadalag si Pablo yan jame, ya umaagang ilegña: Este sija na taotao y tentago y Gueftaquilo na Yuus ni y fumanuejit ni y chalan y satbasion.
17Following Paul and us, she cried out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us a way of salvation!”
18Ya este finatinasña y palaoan megae na jaane. Lao si Pablo gosninaestotba ya jabira güe ya ilegña ni y espiritu: Jutago jao pot y naan Jesucristo na unjuyong guiya güiya. Ya jumuyong güijeja na ora.
18She was doing this for many days. But Paul, becoming greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” It came out that very hour.

19But when her masters saw that the hope of their gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas, and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers.

20When they had brought them to the magistrates, they said, “These men, being Jews, are agitating our city,
21Ya manmamananagüe costumbre ni y ti combiene para jita na utaresibe, ni utaadaje, sa jita taotao Roma.
21and set forth customs which it is not lawful for us to accept or to observe, being Romans.”
22Ya mangajulo y linajyan taotao ya mandaña contra sija: ya y manmagas sija jatiteg guiya sija y magaguñija, ya manmanago na ufanmasaulag.
22The multitude rose up together against them, and the magistrates tore their clothes off of them, and commanded them to be beaten with rods.
23Ya anae esta megae na sinaulag ni y manmasaulagñija, manmapolo gui jalom calaboso, ya maencatga y atcaede na uguesadje sija.
23When they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely,
24Ya ayo y rumesibe este na tinago, manpinelo sija guiya jalolom na calaboso, ya jaguesgode y adengñija gui sipo.
24who, having received such a command, threw them into the inner prison, and secured their feet in the stocks.
25Ya y tatalo puenge manaetae si Pablo yan Silas, yan jacantaye si Yuus alabansa sija: ya manjiningog ni ayo sija y manmaprereso.
25But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
26Ya derepente guaja güije un dangculon linao, ya asta y simienton y calaboso yinengyong: ya enseguidas manmababa todo y petta, ya todo y preso manmapula y guedenñija.
26Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were loosened.
27Ya anae magmata y atcaede, ya jalie na mababa y pettan y calaboso, jalagnos y espadaña ya malago na upuno maesa güe, sa pineloña na manmalago y preso sija.
27The jailer, being roused out of sleep and seeing the prison doors open, drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.
28Lao si Pablo umagang ni y dangculo na inagang, ilegña: Chamo munalalamen jao: sa estagüejamja todos.
28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, “Don’t harm yourself, for we are all here!”
29Ayonae mangagao candet sija, ya tumayog jalom, ya mato manlalaolao ni y minaañao, ya podong gui menan Pablo yan Silas,
29He called for lights and sprang in, and, fell down trembling before Paul and Silas,
30Ya jacone sija juyong, ya ilegña: Señores, jafa jufatinas para jusatbo?
30and brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31Ya sija ilegñija: Jenggue y Señot Jesus ya unsatbo yan y iya guimamo.
31They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
32Ya masangane güe ni y sinangan y Señot, yan todo y mañasaga gui guimaña.
32They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house.
33Ya ayoja na ora gui puenge nae jacone ya jafagase y sinaulagñija: ya matagpange güe enseguidas yan todo y iyoña.
33He took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes, and was immediately baptized, he and all his household.
34Ya jacone sija guato gui guimaña ya japlantaye nañija gui menañija, ya ninasenmagof sa jajonggue si Yuus yan todo y iya guimaña.
34He brought them up into his house, and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, with all his household, having believed in God.
35¶ Ya anae egaan na jaane, manmanago y manmagas sargento sija ilegñija: Setta ayo sija na taotao ya ufanjanao.
35But when it was day, the magistrates sent the sergeants, saying, “Let those men go.”
36Ya y atcaede jasangane si Pablo ni este na sinangan, ilegña: Manmanago y manmagas na infanmasotta: ya pago fañuja ya infanjanao en pas.
36The jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go; now therefore come out, and go in peace.”
37Lao si Pablo ilegña nu sija: Janafanmasaulagjam sin infanmaecungog, yan manmapresojam, ya taotao Roma jamja: ya pago inmanafanjuyong sin infanatungo? Aje: lao nafanmato ya sija unafanjuyongjam.
37But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, without a trial, men who are Romans, and have cast us into prison! Do they now release us secretly? No, most certainly, but let them come themselves and bring us out!”
38Ya y sargento sija jasangane y manmagas ni este na sinangan: ya ninafanmaañao anae jajungog na taotao Roma sija.
38The sergeants reported these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans,
39Ya manmato ya manmagagao sija, ya anae manatanjuyong, manmagagao na ufanjuyong gui siuda.
39and they came and begged them. When they had brought them out, they asked them to depart from the city.
40Ya anae manjuyong gui calaboso, manjalom gui guima Lydia; ya anae jalie y mañelo, jaconsuela ya manjanao.
40They went out of the prison, and entered into Lydia’s house. When they had seen the brothers, they encouraged them, and departed.
