1Aleluja! Hvalite Jahvu s nebesa, hvalite ga u visinama!
1Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah from the heavens; praise him in the heights.
2Hvalite ga, svi anđeli njegovi, hvalite ga, sve vojske njegove!
2Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts.
3Hvalite ga, sunce i mjeseče, hvalite ga, sve zvijezde svjetlosne!
3Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.
4Hvalite ga, nebesa nebeska, i vode nad svodom nebeskim!
4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.
5Neka hvale ime Jahvino jer on zapovjedi i postadoše.
5Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for he it is that commanded, and they were created:
6Postavi ih zauvijek i dovijeka po zakonu koji neće proći.
6And he established them for ever and ever; he made [for them] a statute which shall not pass.
7Hvalite Jahvu sa zemlje, nemani morske i svi bezdani!
7Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;
8Ognju i grÓade, sniježe i maglo, olujni vjetre, što riječ njegovu izvršavaš!
8Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind fulfilling his word;
9Gore i svi brežuljci, plodonosna stabla i svi cedrovi!
9Mountains and all hills, fruit-trees and all cedars;
10Zvijeri i sve životinje, gmizavci i ptice krilate!
10Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl;
11Zemaljski kraljevi i svi narodi, knezovi i suci zemaljski!
11Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth;
12Mladići i djevojke, starci s djecom zajedno:
12Both young men and maidens, old men with youths, --
13nek' svi hvale ime Jahvino, jer jedino je njegovo ime uzvišeno! Njegovo veličanstvo zemlju i nebo nadvisuje,
13Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens.
14on podiže snagu svom narodu, on proslavlja svete svoje, sinove Izraelove - narod njemu blizak. Aleluja!
14And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah!
