1Hallelujah! Sing unto Jehovah a new song; [sing] his praise in the congregation of the godly.
2Nek' se raduje Izrael Stvoritelju svojem! Kralju svom neka klikću sinovi Siona!
2Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.
3Neka u kolu hvale ime njegovo, bubnjem i citarom neka ga slave!
3Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp.
4Jer Jahve ljubi narod svoj, spasenjem ovjenčava ponizne!
4For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation.
5Neka se sveti raduju u slavi, neka kliču s ležaja svojih!
5Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.
6Nek' im pohvale Božje budu na ustima, mačevi dvosjekli u rukama
6Let the high praises of ùGod be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand:
7da nad pucima izvrše odmazdu i kaznu nad narodima;
7To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples;
8da im kraljeve bace u lance, a odličnike u okove gvozdene;
8To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9da na njima izvrše sud davno napisan - nek' bude na čast svim svetima njegovim! Aleluja!
9To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!
