1{To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm: a Song.} Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, and let them that hate him flee before him.
2Bog nek' ustane! Razbježali se dušmani njegovi! Svi mrzitelji njegovi pobjegli pred njim!
2As smoke is driven, thou wilt drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, the wicked shall perish at the presence of God.
3Kao što dim iščezava, i njih neka nestane! Kako se vosak topi na ognju, nek' nestane grešnika pred licem Božjim!
3But the righteous shall rejoice: they shall exult before God and be glad with joy.
4Pravedni neka se raduju, neka klikću pred Bogom, neka kliču od radosti.
4Sing unto God, sing forth his name; cast up a way for him that rideth in the deserts: his name is Jah; and rejoice before him.
5Pjevajte Bogu, slavite mu ime! Poravnajte put onome koji ide pustinjom - kojemu je ime Jahve - i kličite pred njim!
5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6Otac sirota, branitelj udovica, Bog je u svom svetom šatoru.
6God maketh the solitary into families; those that were bound he bringeth out into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched [land].
7Napuštene okućit će Jahve, sužnjima pružit' sretnu slobodu: buntovnici samo ostaše u sažganoj pustinji.
7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness -- (Selah) --
8Kad si stupao, Bože, pred narodom svojim, dok si prolazio pustinjom,
8The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9tresla se zemlja, nebo se rosilo pred Bogom, Sinaj drhtao pred Bogom, Bogom Izraela.
9Thou, O God, didst pour a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and when it was weary thou strengthenedst it.
10Blagoslovljen dažd pustio si, Bože, na baštinu svoju, okrijepio je umornu.
10Thy flock hath dwelt therein: thou hast prepared in thy goodness, for the afflicted, O God!
11Stado se tvoje nastani u njoj, u dobroti, Bože, ti je spremi siromahu.
11The Lord gives the word: great the host of the publishers.
12Jahve riječ zadaje, veliko je mnoštvo radosnih vjesnika:
12Kings of armies flee; they flee, and she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
13kraljevi vojska bježe te bježe, domaćice plijen dijele.
13Though ye have lain among the sheepfolds, [ye shall be as] wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with green gold.
14Dok vi počivaste među stadima, krila golubice zablistaše srebrom, a njeno perje žućkastim zlatom:
14When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it became snow-white as Zalmon.
15ondje Svemogući razbijaše kraljeve, a ona poput snijega zablista na Salmonu.
15[As] mount Bashan is the mount of God, a many-peaked mountain, [as] mount Bashan.
16Božanska je gora gora bašanska vrletna.
16Why do ye look with envy, ye many-peaked mountains, upon the mount that God hath desired for his abode? yea, Jehovah will dwell [there] for ever.
17Zašto vi, gore vrletne, zavidno gledate na goru gdje se svidje Bogu prebivati? Jahve će na njoj boraviti svagda!
17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them: it is a Sinai in holiness.
18Božja su kola bezbrojna, tisuću tisuća: Jahve sa Sinaja u Svetište dolazi!
18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even [for] the rebellious, for the dwelling [there] of Jah Elohim.
19Na visinu uzađe vodeći sužnje, na dar si ljude primio, pa i one što ne žele prebivati kod Boga.
19Blessed be the Lord: day by day doth he load us [with good], the ùGod who is our salvation. Selah.
20Blagoslovljen Jahve dan za danom, nosi nas Bog, naš Spasitelj.
20Our ùGod is the ùGod of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth [even] from death.
21Bog naš jest Bog koji spasava, Jahve od smrti izbavlja.
21Verily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses.
22Zaista, Bog će satrti glave dušmana svojih, kuštravo tjeme onog što hodi u grijesima.
22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depth of the sea;
23Reče Gospodin: "Iz Bašana ću ih dovesti, dovest ću ih iz dubine mora,
23That thou mayest dip thy foot in blood: the tongue of thy dogs has its portion from enemies.
24da okupaš nogu u krvi, da jezici tvojih pasa imadnu dio od dušmana."
24They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my ùGod, my King, in the sanctuary.
25Ulazak ti, Bože, gledaju, ulazak moga Boga i Kralja u Svetište:
25The singers went before, the players on stringed instruments after, in the midst of maidens playing on tabrets.
26sprijeda pjevači, za njima svirači, u sredini djevojke s bubnjićima.
26In the congregations bless ye God, the Lord, -- [ye] from the fountain of Israel.
27"U svečanim zborovima slavite Boga, slavite Jahvu, sinovi Izraelovi!"
27There is little Benjamin, their ruler; the princes of Judah, their company; the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28Predvodi ih najmlađi, Benjamin, koji ide pred njima, ondje su knezovi Judini sa četama svojim, knezovi Zebulunovi i knezovi Naftalijevi.
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
29Pokaži, Bože, silu svoju, silu kojom se, Bože, boriš za nas
29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30iz Hrama svojega u Jeruzalemu! Nek' ti kraljevi darove donose!
30Rebuke the beast of the reeds, the assembly of the strong, with the calves of the peoples: [every one] submitteth himself with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples that delight in war.
31Ukroti neman u trsci, stado bikova s teladi naroda! Neka se prostru pred tobom sa srebrnim žezlima: rasprši narode koji se ratu vesele!
31Great ones shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall quickly stretch out her hands unto God.
32Nek' dođu velikani iz Egipta, Etiopija nek' pruži ruke Bogu!
32Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing psalms of the Lord, (Selah,)
33Sva kraljevstva svijeta, pjevajte Bogu, slavite Jahvu,
33Of him that rideth upon the heavens, the heavens which are of old: lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.
34koji se vozi po nebu, po nebu iskonskom! Čuj, glasom grmi, glasom svojim silnim:
34Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
35"Priznajte silu Božju!" Nad Izraelom veličanstvo njegovo, u oblacima sila njegova!
35Terrible art thou, O God, out of thy sanctuaries, -- the ùGod of Israel! He it is that giveth strength and might unto the people. Blessed be God!
36Strašan je Bog iz svojega Svetišta. Bog Izraelov daje moć i silu narodu svojemu. Blagoslovljen Bog!
