1 Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Dos at Pharo, oherwydd yr wyf wedi caledu ei galon a chalon ei weision, er mwyn i mi ddangos yr arwyddion hyn o'm heiddo yn eu plith,
1And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these my signs before him:
2 ac er mwyn i tithau ddweud wrth dy blant a phlant dy blant, fel y bm yn trin yr Eifftiaid a gwneud arwyddion yn eu plith; felly, byddwch yn gwybod mai myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD."
2And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
3 Yna daeth Moses ac Aaron at Pharo a dweud wrtho, "Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD, Duw'r Hebreaid: Am ba hyd yr wyt am wrthod ymostwng o'm blaen? Gollwng fy mhobl yn rhydd, er mwyn iddynt fy addoli.
3And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
4 Os gwrthodi eu rhyddhau, fe ddof  locustiaid i mewn i'th wlad yfory;
4Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:
5 byddant yn gorchuddio wyneb y tir fel na ellir ei weld, yn bwyta'r ychydig a adawyd i chwi ar l y cenllysg, ac yn bwyta pob coeden o'ch eiddo sy'n tyfu yn y maes.
5And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:
6 Byddant yn llenwi dy dai, a thai dy weision i gyd, a thai'r holl Eifftiaid, mewn modd na welwyd ei debyg gan dy dadau na'th deidiau, o'r dydd y buont ar y ddaear hyd heddiw." Yna trodd ac aeth allan o u373?ydd Pharo.
6And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.
7 Dywedodd gweision Pharo wrtho, "Am ba hyd y mae'r dyn hwn yn mynd i fod yn fagl inni? Gollwng y bobl yn rhydd, er mwyn iddynt addoli'r ARGLWYDD eu Duw; onid wyt ti eto'n deall bod yr Aifft wedi ei difetha?"
7And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
8 Felly daethpwyd Moses ac Aaron yn l at Pharo, a dywedodd wrthynt, "Cewch fynd i addoli'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw; ond pa rai ohonoch sydd am fynd?"
8And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?
9 Dywedodd Moses, "Byddwn yn mynd gyda'r ifainc a'r hen, gyda'n meibion a'n merched, gyda'n defaid a'n gwartheg, oherwydd rhaid inni gadw gu373?yl i'r ARGLWYDD."
9And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.
10 Dywedodd yntau wrthynt, "Yr ARGLWYDD fyddo gyda chwi os byth y rhyddhaf chwi a'ch rhai bychain! Edrychwch, rhyw ddrwg sydd gennych mewn golwg.
10And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.
11 Na, y gwu375?r yn unig a gaiff fynd i addoli'r ARGLWYDD, oherwydd dyna oedd eich dymuniad." Yna fe'u gyrrwyd allan o u373?ydd Pharo.
11Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.
12 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Estyn allan dy law dros wlad yr Aifft er mwyn i'r locustiaid ddisgyn ar dir yr Aifft, a bwyta holl lysiau'r ddaear a'r cyfan a adawyd ar l y cenllysg."
12And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.
13 Felly estynnodd Moses ei wialen dros wlad yr Aifft, ac achosodd yr ARGLWYDD i'r dwyreinwynt chwythu ar y wlad trwy gydol y diwrnod hwnnw a thrwy'r nos; erbyn y bore yr oedd y dwyreinwynt wedi dod 'r locustiaid.
13And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
14 Daeth y locustiaid i fyny dros yr holl wlad a disgyn ym mhob ardal yn yr Aifft. Ni welwyd y fath bla trwm o locustiaid erioed o'r blaen, ac ni welir ei debyg eto.
14And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
15 Yr oeddent yn gorchuddio wyneb y tir nes bod y wlad i gyd yn ddu, ac yr oeddent yn bwyta holl lysiau'r ddaear a holl ffrwythau'r coed oedd wedi eu gadael ar l y cenllysg; nid oedd dim gwyrdd ar l ar y coed na'r planhigion trwy holl wlad yr Aifft.
15For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
16 Brysiodd Pharo i anfon am Moses ac Aaron a dweud, "Yr wyf wedi pechu yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw ac yn eich erbyn chwithau.
16Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
17 Yn awr, maddau fy mhechod am y tro hwn yn unig, a gweddwch ar i'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw symud ymaith y pla marwol hwn oddi wrthyf."
17Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and entreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.
18 Felly aeth Moses allan o u373?ydd Pharo, a gweddodd ar yr ARGLWYDD.
18And he went out from Pharaoh, and entreated the LORD.
19 Gyrrodd yr ARGLWYDD wynt cryf iawn o'r gorllewin, a chododd hwnnw'r locustiaid a'u cludo i'r Mr Coch; ni adawyd yr un o'r locustiaid ar l yn unman yn yr Aifft.
19And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.
20 Ond caledodd yr ARGLWYDD galon Pharo, a gwrthododd ryddhau'r Israeliaid.
20But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.
21 Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Estyn allan dy law tua'r nefoedd, a bydd tywyllwch dros wlad yr Aifft, tywyllwch y gellir ei deimlo."
21And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
22 Felly estynnodd Moses ei law tua'r nefoedd, a bu tywyllwch dudew trwy holl wlad yr Aifft am dridiau.
22And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
23 Ni allai'r bobl weld ei gilydd, ac ni symudodd neb o'i le am dri diwrnod, ond yr oedd gan yr Israeliaid oleuni yn y lle'r oeddent yn byw.
23They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
24 Galwodd Pharo am Moses a dweud, "Ewch i addoli'r ARGLWYDD; caiff eich plant hefyd fynd gyda chwi, ond rhaid i'ch defaid a'ch gwartheg aros ar l."
24And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.
25 Ond dywedodd Moses, "Rhaid iti hefyd adael inni gael ebyrth a phoethoffrymau i'w haberthu i'r ARGLWYDD ein Duw;
25And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
26 a rhaid i'n hanifeiliaid hefyd fynd gyda ni; ni adawn yr un carn ar l, oherwydd byddwn yn defnyddio rhai ohonynt at wasanaeth yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw, ac ni fyddwn yn gwybod pha beth yr ydym i'w wasanaethu nes inni gyrraedd yno."
26Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
27 Ond caledodd yr ARGLWYDD galon Pharo, a gwrthododd eu rhyddhau.
27But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.
28 Dywedodd Pharo wrtho, "Dos ymaith oddi wrthyf, a gofala na fyddi'n gweld fy wyneb eto, oherwydd ar y dydd y byddi'n fy ngweld, byddi farw."
28And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
29 Atebodd Moses, "Fel y mynni di; ni welaf dy wyneb byth mwy."
29And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.
