¹ Wrth iddo fynd allan o'r deml, dyma un o'i ddisgyblion yn dweud wrtho, "Edrych, Athro, y fath feini enfawr a'r fath adeiladau gwych!"

¹And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

² A dywedodd Iesu wrtho, "A weli di'r adeiladau mawr yma? Ni adewir yma faen ar faen; ni bydd yr un heb ei fwrw i lawr."

²And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

³ Fel yr oedd yn eistedd ar Fynydd yr Olewydd gyferbyn �'r deml, gofynnodd Pedr ac Iago ac Ioan ac Andreas iddo, o'r neilltu,

³And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

⁴ "Dywed wrthym pa bryd y bydd hyn, a beth fydd yr arwydd pan fydd hyn oll ar ddod i ben?"

⁴Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

⁵ A dechreuodd Iesu ddweud wrthynt, "Gwyliwch na fydd i neb eich twyllo.

⁵And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

⁶ Fe ddaw llawer yn fy enw i gan ddweud, 'Myfi yw', ac fe dwyllant lawer.

⁶For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

⁷ A phan glywch am ryfeloedd a s�n am ryfeloedd, peidiwch � chyffroi. Rhaid i hyn ddigwydd, ond nid yw'r diwedd eto.

⁷And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

⁸ Oblegid cyfyd cenedl yn erbyn cenedl, a theyrnas yn erbyn teyrnas. Bydd daeargrynf�u mewn mannau. Bydd adegau o newyn.

⁸For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

⁹ Dechrau'r gwewyr fydd hyn. A chwithau, gwyliwch eich hunain; fe'ch traddodir chwi i lysoedd, a chewch eich fflangellu mewn synagogau a'ch gosod i sefyll gerbron llywodraethwyr a brenhinoedd o'm hachos i, i ddwyn tystiolaeth yn eu gu373?ydd.

⁹But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

¹⁰ Ond yn gyntaf rhaid i'r Efengyl gael ei chyhoeddi i'r holl genhedloedd.

¹⁰And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

¹¹ A phan �nt � chwi i'ch traddodi, peidiwch � phryderu ymlaen llaw beth i'w ddweud, ond pa beth bynnag a roddir i chwi y pryd hwnnw, dywedwch hynny; oblegid nid chwi sydd yn llefaru, ond yr Ysbryd Gl�n.

¹¹But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

¹² Bradycha brawd ei frawd i farwolaeth, a thad ei blentyn, a chyfyd plant yn erbyn eu rhieni a pheri eu lladd.

¹²Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

¹³ A chas fyddwch gan bawb o achos fy enw i; ond y sawl sy'n dyfalbarhau i'r diwedd a gaiff ei achub.

¹³And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

¹⁴ "Ond pan welwch 'y ffieiddbeth diffeithiol' yn sefyll lle na ddylai fod" (dealled y darllenydd) "yna ffoed y rhai sydd yn Jwdea i'r mynyddoedd.

¹⁴But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

¹⁵ Pwy bynnag sydd ar ben y tu375?, peidied � dod i lawr i fynd i mewn i gipio dim o'i du375?;

¹⁵And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

¹⁶ a phwy bynnag sydd yn y cae, peidied � throi yn ei �l i gymryd ei fantell.

¹⁶And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

¹⁷ Gwae'r gwragedd beichiog a'r rhai sy'n rhoi'r fron yn y dyddiau hynny!

¹⁷But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

¹⁸ A gwedd�wch na ddigwydd hyn yn y gaeaf,

¹⁸And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

¹⁹ oblegid bydd y dyddiau hynny yn orthrymder na fu ei debyg o ddechrau'r greadigaeth a greodd Duw hyd yn awr, ac na fydd byth.

¹⁹For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

²⁰ Ac oni bai fod yr Arglwydd wedi byrhau'r dyddiau, ni fuasai neb byw wedi ei achub; ond er mwyn yr etholedigion a etholodd, fe fyrhaodd y dyddiau.

²⁰And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

²¹ Ac yna, os dywed rhywun wrthych, 'Edrych, dyma'r Meseia', neu, 'Edrych, dacw ef', peidiwch �'i gredu.

²¹And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

²² Oherwydd fe gyfyd gau feseiau a gau broffwydi, a rhoddant arwyddion a rhyfeddodau i arwain ar gyfeiliorn yr etholedigion, petai hynny'n bosibl.

²²For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

²³ Ond gwyliwch chwi; yr wyf wedi dweud y cwbl wrthych ymlaen llaw.

²³But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

²⁴ "Ond yn y dyddiau hynny, ar �l y gorthrymder hwnnw, 'Tywyllir yr haul, ni rydd y lloer ei llewyrch,

²⁴But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

²⁵ syrth y s�r o'r nef, ac ysgydwir y nerthoedd sydd yn y nefoedd.'

²⁵And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

²⁶ A'r pryd hwnnw gwelant Fab y Dyn yn dyfod yn y cymylau gyda nerth mawr a gogoniant.

²⁶And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

²⁷ Ac yna'r anfona ei angylion a chynnull ei etholedigion o'r pedwar gwynt, o eithaf y ddaear hyd at eithaf y nef.

²⁷And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

²⁸ "Dysgwch wers oddi wrth y ffigysbren. Pan fydd ei gangen yn ir ac yn dechrau deilio, gwyddoch fod yr haf yn agos.

²⁸Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

²⁹ Felly chwithau, pan welwch y pethau hyn yn digwydd, byddwch yn gwybod ei fod yn agos, wrth y drws.

²⁹So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

³⁰ Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, nid �'r genhedlaeth hon heibio nes i'r holl bethau hyn ddigwydd.

³⁰Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

³¹ Y nef a'r ddaear, �nt heibio, ond fy ngeiriau i, nid �nt heibio ddim.

³¹Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

³² "Ond am y dydd hwnnw neu'r awr ni u373?yr neb, na'r angylion yn y nef, na'r Mab, neb ond y Tad.

³²But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

³³ Gwyliwch, byddwch effro; oherwydd ni wyddoch pa bryd y bydd yr amser.

³³Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

³⁴ Y mae fel dyn a aeth oddi cartref, gan adael ei du375? a rhoi awdurdod i'w weision, i bob un ei waith, a gorchymyn i'r porthor wylio.

³⁴For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

³⁵ Byddwch wyliadwrus gan hynny � oherwydd ni wyddoch pa bryd y daw meistr y tu375?, ai gyda'r hwyr, ai ar hanner nos, ai ar ganiad y ceiliog, ai yn fore �

³⁵Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

³⁶ rhag ofn iddo ddod yn ddisymwth a'ch cael chwi'n cysgu.

³⁶Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

³⁷ A'r hyn yr wyf yn ei ddweud wrthych chwi, yr wyf yn ei ddweud wrth bawb: byddwch wyliadwrus."

³⁷And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
