¹ Molwch yr ARGLWYDD. Da yw canu mawl i'n Duw ni, oherwydd hyfryd a gweddus yw mawl.

¹Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

² Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn adeiladu Jerwsalem, y mae'n casglu rhai gwasgaredig Israel.

²The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

³ Y mae'n iach�u'r rhai drylliedig o galon, ac yn rhwymo eu doluriau.

³He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

⁴ Y mae'n pennu nifer y s�r, ac yn rhoi enwau arnynt i gyd.

⁴He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

⁵ Mawr yw ein Harglwydd ni, a chryf o nerth; y mae ei ddoethineb yn ddifesur.

⁵Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

⁶ Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn codi'r rhai gostyngedig, ond yn bwrw'r drygionus i'r llawr.

⁶The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

⁷ Canwch i'r ARGLWYDD mewn diolch, canwch fawl i'n Duw �'r delyn.

⁷Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

⁸ Y mae ef yn gorchuddio'r nefoedd � chymylau, ac yn darparu glaw i'r ddaear; y mae'n gwisgo'r mynyddoedd � glaswellt, a phlanhigion at wasanaeth pobl.

⁸Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

⁹ Y mae'n rhoi eu porthiant i'r anifeiliaid, a'r hyn a ofynnant i gywion y gigfran.

⁹He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

¹⁰ Nid yw'n ymhyfrydu yn nerth march, nac yn cael pleser yng nghyhyrau gu373?r;

¹⁰He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

¹¹ ond pleser yr ARGLWYDD yw'r rhai sy'n ei ofni, y rhai sy'n gobeithio yn ei gariad.

¹¹The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

¹² Molianna yr ARGLWYDD, O Jerwsalem; mola dy Dduw, O Seion,

¹²Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

¹³ oherwydd cryfhaodd farrau dy byrth, a bendithiodd dy blant o'th fewn.

¹³For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

¹⁴ Y mae'n rhoi heddwch i'th derfynau, ac yn dy ddigoni �'r u375?d gorau.

¹⁴He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

¹⁵ Y mae'n anfon ei orchymyn i'r ddaear, ac y mae ei air yn rhedeg yn gyflym.

¹⁵He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

¹⁶ Y mae'n rhoi eira fel gwl�n, yn taenu barrug fel lludw,

¹⁶He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

¹⁷ ac yn gwasgaru ei rew fel briwsion; pwy a all ddal ei oerni ef?

¹⁷He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

¹⁸ Y mae'n anfon ei air, ac yn eu toddi; gwna i'w wynt chwythu, ac fe lifa'r dyfroedd.

¹⁸He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

¹⁹ Y mae'n mynegi ei air i Jacob, ei ddeddfau a'i farnau i Israel;

¹⁹He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

²⁰ ni wnaeth fel hyn ag unrhyw genedl, na dysgu iddynt ei farnau. Molwch yr ARGLWYDD.

²⁰He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
