¹ 1 I Ddafydd.0 Na fydd yn ddig wrth y rhai drygionus, na chenfigennu wrth y rhai sy'n gwneud drwg.

¹Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

² Oherwydd fe wywant yn sydyn fel glaswellt, a chrino fel glesni gwanwyn.

²For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

³ Ymddiried yn yr ARGLWYDD a gwna ddaioni, iti gael byw yn y wlad mewn cymdeithas ddiogel.

³Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

⁴ Ymhyfryda yn yr ARGLWYDD, a rhydd iti ddeisyfiad dy galon.

⁴Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

⁵ Rho dy ffyrdd i'r ARGLWYDD; ymddiried ynddo, ac fe weithreda.

⁵Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

⁶ Fe wna i'th gywirdeb ddisgleirio fel goleuni a'th uniondeb fel haul canol dydd.

⁶And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

⁷ Disgwyl yn dawel am yr ARGLWYDD, aros yn amyneddgar amdano; paid � bod yn ddig wrth yr un sy'n llwyddo, y gu373?r sy'n gwneud cynllwynion.

⁷Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

⁸ Paid � digio; rho'r gorau i lid; paid � bod yn ddig, ni ddaw ond drwg o hynny.

⁸Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

⁹ Oherwydd dinistrir y rhai drwg, ond bydd y rhai sy'n gobeithio yn yr ARGLWYDD yn etifeddu'r tir.

⁹For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

¹⁰ Ymhen ychydig eto, ni fydd y drygionus; er iti edrych yn ddyfal am ei le, ni fydd ar gael.

¹⁰For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

¹¹ Ond bydd y gostyngedig yn meddiannu'r tir ac yn mwynhau heddwch llawn.

¹¹But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

¹² Y mae'r drygionus yn cynllwyn yn erbyn y cyfiawn, ac yn ysgyrnygu ei ddannedd arno;

¹²The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

¹³ ond y mae'r Arglwydd yn chwerthin am ei ben, oherwydd gu373?yr fod ei amser yn dyfod.

¹³The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

¹⁴ Y mae'r drygionus yn chwifio cleddyf ac yn plygu eu bwa, i ddarostwng y tlawd a'r anghenus, ac i ladd yr union ei gerddediad;

¹⁴The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

¹⁵ ond fe drywana eu cleddyf i'w calon eu hunain, a thorrir eu bw�u.

¹⁵Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

¹⁶ Gwell yw'r ychydig sydd gan y cyfiawn na chyfoeth mawr y drygionus;

¹⁶A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

¹⁷ oherwydd torrir nerth y drygionus, ond bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn cynnal y cyfiawn.

¹⁷For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.

¹⁸ Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn gwylio dros ddyddiau'r difeius, ac fe bery eu hetifeddiaeth am byth.

¹⁸The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

¹⁹ Ni ddaw cywilydd arnynt mewn cyfnod drwg, a bydd ganddynt ddigon mewn dyddiau o newyn.

¹⁹They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

²⁰ Oherwydd fe dderfydd am y drygionus; bydd gelynion yr ARGLWYDD fel cynnud mewn t�n, pob un ohonynt yn diflannu mewn mwg.

²⁰But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

²¹ Y mae'r drygionus yn benthyca heb dalu'n �l, ond y cyfiawn yn rhoddwr trugarog.

²¹The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

²² Bydd y rhai a fendithiwyd gan yr ARGLWYDD yn etifeddu'r tir, ond fe dorrir ymaith y rhai a felltithiwyd ganddo.

²²For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

²³ Yr ARGLWYDD sy'n cyfeirio camau'r difeius, y mae'n ei gynnal ac yn ymhyfrydu yn ei gerddediad;

²³The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

²⁴ er iddo syrthio, nis bwrir i'r llawr, oherwydd y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn ei gynnal �'i law.

²⁴Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

²⁵ B�m ifanc, ac yn awr yr wyf yn hen, ond ni welais y cyfiawn wedi ei adael, na'i blant yn cardota am fara;

²⁵I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

²⁶ y mae bob amser yn drugarog ac yn rhoi benthyg, a'i blant yn fendith.

²⁶He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

²⁷ Tro oddi wrth ddrwg a gwna dda, a chei gartref diogel am byth,

²⁷Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

²⁸ oherwydd y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn caru barn, ac nid yw'n gadael ei ffyddloniaid; ond difethir yr anghyfiawn am byth, a thorrir ymaith blant y drygionus.

²⁸For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

²⁹ Y mae'r cyfiawn yn etifeddu'r tir, ac yn cartrefu ynddo am byth.

²⁹The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

³⁰ Y mae genau'r cyfiawn yn llefaru doethineb, a'i dafod yn mynegi barn;

³⁰The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

³¹ y mae cyfraith ei Dduw yn ei galon, ac nid yw ei gamau'n methu.

³¹The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

³² Y mae'r drygionus yn gwylio'r cyfiawn ac yn ceisio cyfle i'w ladd;

³²The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

³³ ond nid yw'r ARGLWYDD yn ei adael yn ei law, nac yn caniat�u ei gondemnio pan fernir ef.

³³The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

³⁴ Disgwyl wrth yr ARGLWYDD a glu375?n wrth ei ffordd, ac fe'th ddyrchafa i etifeddu'r tir, a chei weld y drygionus yn cael eu torri ymaith.

³⁴Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

³⁵ Gwelais y drygionus yn ddidostur, yn taflu fel blaguryn iraidd;

³⁵I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

³⁶ ond pan euthum heibio, nid oedd dim ohono; er imi chwilio amdano, nid oedd i'w gael.

³⁶Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

³⁷ Sylwa ar y difeius, ac edrych ar yr uniawn; oherwydd y mae disgynyddion gan yr heddychlon.

³⁷Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

³⁸ Difethir y gwrthryfelwyr i gyd, a dinistrir disgynyddion y drygionus.

³⁸But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

³⁹ Ond daw gwaredigaeth y cyfiawn oddi wrth yr ARGLWYDD; ef yw eu hamddiffyn yn amser adfyd.

³⁹But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

⁴⁰ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn eu cynorthwyo ac yn eu harbed; bydd yn eu harbed rhag y drygionus ac yn eu hachub, am iddynt lochesu ynddo.

⁴⁰And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
