¹ 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: i Ddafydd. Salm. C�n.0 Bydded i Dduw godi, ac i'w elynion wasgaru, ac i'r rhai sy'n ei gas�u ffoi o'i flaen.

¹Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

² Fel y chwelir mwg, chw�l hwy; fel cwyr yn toddi o flaen t�n, bydded i'r drygionus ddarfod o flaen Duw.

²As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

³ Ond y mae'r cyfiawn yn llawenhau; y maent yn gorfoleddu gerbron Duw ac yn ymhyfrydu mewn llawenydd.

³But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

⁴ Canwch i Dduw, molwch ei enw, paratowch ffordd i'r un sy'n marchogaeth trwy'r anialdir; yr ARGLWYDD yw ei enw, gorfoleddwch o'i flaen.

⁴Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

⁵ Tad yr amddifaid ac amddiffynnydd y gweddwon yw Duw yn ei drigfan sanctaidd.

⁵A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

⁶ Mae Duw yn gosod yr unig mewn cartref, ac yn arwain allan garcharorion mewn llawenydd; ond y mae'r gwrthryfelwyr yn byw mewn diffeithwch.

⁶God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

⁷ O Dduw, pan aethost ti allan o flaen dy bobl, a gorymdeithio ar draws yr anialwch, Sela.

⁷O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

⁸ crynodd y ddaear a glawiodd y nefoedd o flaen Duw, Duw Sinai, o flaen Duw, Duw Israel.

⁸The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

⁹ Tywelltaist ddigonedd o law, O Dduw, ac adfer dy etifeddiaeth pan oedd ar ddiffygio;

⁹Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

¹⁰ cafodd dy braidd le i fyw ynddi, ac yn dy ddaioni darperaist i'r anghenus, O Dduw.

¹⁰Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

¹¹ Y mae'r Arglwydd yn datgan y gair, ac y mae llu mawr yn cyhoeddi'r newydd da

¹¹The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

¹² fod brenhinoedd y byddinoedd yn ffoi ar frys; y mae'r merched gartref yn rhannu ysbail �

¹²Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

¹³ er eu bod wedi aros ymysg y corlannau � y mae adenydd colomen wedi eu gorchuddio ag arian, a'i hesgyll yn aur melyn.

¹³Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

¹⁴ Pan wasgarodd yr Hollalluog frenhinoedd yno, yr oedd yn eira ar Fynydd Salmon.

¹⁴When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

¹⁵ Mynydd cadarn yw Mynydd Basan, mynydd o gopaon yw Mynydd Basan.

¹⁵The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

¹⁶ O fynydd y copaon, pam yr edrychi'n eiddigeddus ar y mynydd lle dewisodd Duw drigo, lle bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn trigo am byth?

¹⁶Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

¹⁷ Yr oedd cerbydau Duw yn ugain mil, yn filoedd ar filoedd, pan ddaeth yr Arglwydd o Sinai mewn sancteiddrwydd.

¹⁷The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

¹⁸ Aethost i fyny i'r uchelder gyda chaethion ar dy �l, a derbyniaist anrhegion gan bobl, hyd yn oed gwrthryfelwyr, er mwyn i'r ARGLWYDD Dduw drigo yno.

¹⁸Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

¹⁹ Bendigedig yw'r Arglwydd, sy'n ein cario ddydd ar �l dydd; Duw yw ein hiachawdwriaeth. Sela.

¹⁹Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

²⁰ Duw sy'n gwaredu yw ein Duw ni; gan yr ARGLWYDD Dduw y mae dihangfa rhag marwolaeth.

²⁰He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

²¹ Yn wir, bydd Duw'n dryllio pennau ei elynion, pob copa gwalltog, pob un sy'n rhodio mewn euogrwydd.

²¹But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

²² Dywedodd yr Arglwydd, "Dof � hwy'n �l o Basan, dof � hwy'n �l o waelodion y m�r,

²²The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

²³ er mwyn iti drochi dy droed mewn gwaed, ac i dafodau dy gu373?n gael eu cyfran o'r gelynion."

²³That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

²⁴ Gwelir dy orymdeithiau, O Dduw, gorymdeithiau fy Nuw, fy Mrenin, i'r cysegr �

²⁴They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

²⁵ y cantorion ar y blaen a'r offerynwyr yn dilyn, a rhyngddynt forynion yn canu tympanau.

²⁵The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

²⁶ Yn y gynulleidfa y maent yn bendithio Duw, a'r ARGLWYDD yng nghynulliad Israel.

²⁶Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

²⁷ Yno y mae Benjamin fychan yn eu harwain, a thyrfa tywysogion Jwda, tywysogion Sabulon a thywysogion Nafftali.

²⁷There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

²⁸ O Dduw, dangos dy rym, y grym, O Dduw, y buost yn ei weithredu drosom.

²⁸Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

²⁹ O achos dy deml yn Jerwsalem daw brenhinoedd ag anrhegion i ti.

²⁹Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

³⁰ Cerydda anifeiliaid gwyllt y corsydd, y gyr o deirw gyda'u lloi o bobl; sathra i lawr y rhai sy'n dyheu am arian, gwasgara'r bobl sy'n ymhyfrydu mewn rhyfel.

³⁰Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

³¹ Bydded iddynt ddod � phres o'r Aifft; brysied Ethiopia i estyn ei dwylo at Dduw.

³¹Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

³² Canwch i Dduw, deyrnasoedd y ddaear; rhowch foliant i'r Arglwydd, Sela.

³²Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

³³ i'r un sy'n marchogaeth yn y nefoedd, y nefoedd a fu erioed. Clywch! Y mae'n llefaru �'i lais nerthol.

³³To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

³⁴ Cydnabyddwch nerth Duw; y mae ei ogoniant uwchben Israel a'i rym yn y ffurfafen.

³⁴Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

³⁵ Y mae Duw yn arswydus yn ei gysegr; y mae Duw Israel yn rhoi ynni a nerth i'w bobl. Bendigedig fyddo Duw.

³⁵O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
