1 Y mae'r sawl sy'n byw yn lloches y Goruchaf, ac yn aros yng nghysgod yr Hollalluog,
1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 yn dweud wrth yr ARGLWYDD, "Fy noddfa a'm caer, fy Nuw, yr un yr ymddiriedaf ynddo."
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Oherwydd bydd ef yn dy waredu o fagl heliwr, ac oddi wrth bla difaol;
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 bydd yn cysgodi drosot �'i esgyll, a chei nodded dan ei adenydd; bydd ei wirionedd yn darian a bwcled.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Ni fyddi'n ofni rhag dychryn y nos, na rhag saeth yn hedfan yn y dydd,
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 rhag pla sy'n tramwyo yn y tywyllwch, na rhag dinistr sy'n difetha ganol dydd.
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 Er i fil syrthio wrth dy ochr, a deng mil ar dy ddeheulaw, eto ni chyffyrddir � thi.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Ni fyddi ond yn edrych �'th lygaid ac yn gweld t�l y drygionus.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Ond i ti, bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn noddfa; gwnaethost y Goruchaf yn amddiffynfa;
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 ni ddigwydd niwed i ti, ac ni ddaw pla yn agos i'th babell.
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 Oherwydd rhydd orchymyn i'w angylion i'th gadw yn dy holl ffyrdd;
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 byddant yn dy godi ar eu dwylo rhag iti daro dy droed yn erbyn carreg.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Byddi'n troedio ar y llew a'r asb, ac yn sathru'r llew ifanc a'r sarff.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 "Am iddo lynu wrthyf, fe'i gwaredaf; fe'i diogelaf am ei fod yn adnabod fy enw.
14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 Pan fydd yn galw arnaf, fe'i hatebaf; byddaf fi gydag ef mewn cyfyngder, gwaredaf ef a'i anrhydeddu.
15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 Digonaf ef � hir ddyddiau, a gwnaf iddo fwynhau fy iachawdwriaeth."
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
