¹IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:

² a chyhoeddi dy gariad yn y bore a'th ffyddlondeb bob nos,

²To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

³ gyda'r dectant a'r nabl a chyda chordiau'r delyn.

³Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

⁴ Oherwydd yr wyt ti, O ARGLWYDD, wedi fy llawenychu �'th waith; yr wyf yn gorfoleddu yng ngweithgarwch dy ddwylo.

⁴For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁵ Mor fawr yw dy weithredoedd, O ARGLWYDD, a dwfn iawn dy feddyliau!

⁵O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

⁶ Un dwl yw'r sawl sydd heb wybod, a ffu373?l yw'r un sydd heb ddeall hyn:

⁶A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

⁷ er i'r annuwiol dyfu fel glaswellt ac i'r holl wneuthurwyr drygioni lwyddo, eu bod i'w dinistrio am byth,

⁷When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

⁸ ond dy fod ti, ARGLWYDD, yn dragwyddol ddyrchafedig.

⁸But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

⁹ Oherwydd wele, dy elynion, ARGLWYDD, wele, dy elynion a ddifethir, a'r holl wneuthurwyr drygioni a wasgerir.

⁹For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

¹⁰ Codaist i fyny fy nghorn fel corn ych, ac eneiniaist fi ag olew croyw.

¹⁰But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹¹ Ymhyfrydodd fy llygaid yng nghwymp fy ngelynion, a'm clustiau wrth glywed am y rhai drygionus a gododd yn f'erbyn.

¹¹Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

¹² Y mae'r cyfiawn yn blodeuo fel palmwydd, ac yn tyfu fel cedrwydd Lebanon.

¹²The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹³ Y maent wedi eu plannu yn nhu375?'r ARGLWYDD, ac yn blodeuo yng nghynteddau ein Duw.

¹³Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹⁴ Rh�nt ffrwyth hyd yn oed mewn henaint, a pharh�nt yn wyrdd ac iraidd.

¹⁴They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

¹⁵ Cyhoeddant fod yr ARGLWYDD yn uniawn, ac am fy nghraig, nad oes anghyfiawnder ynddo.

¹⁵To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
