1And these [are] births of Esau, who [is] Edom.
2 Priododd Esau wragedd o blith merched Canaan, sef Ada merch Elon yr Hethiad, Oholibama merch Ana fab Sibeon yr Hefiad,
2Esau hath taken his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
3 a Basemath merch Ismael a chwaer Nebaioth.
3and Bashemath daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth.
4 Ac i Esau esgorodd Ada ar Eliffas; esgorodd Basemath ar Reuel;
4And Adah beareth to Esau, Eliphaz; and Bashemath hath born Reuel;
5 ac esgorodd Oholibama ar Jeus, Jalam a Cora. Dyma feibion Esau a anwyd iddo yng ngwlad Canaan.
5and Aholibamah hath born Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah. These [are] sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6 Cymerodd Esau ei wragedd, ei feibion a'i ferched, a phob aelod o'i deulu, ei wartheg a'i holl anifeiliaid, a'r holl feddiant a gafodd yng ngwlad Canaan, ac aeth draw i wlad Seir oddi wrth ei frawd Jacob.
6And Esau taketh his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance which he hath acquired in the land of Canaan, and goeth into the country from the face of Jacob his brother;
7 Yr oedd eu cyfoeth mor fawr fel na allent gyd-fyw, ac ni allai'r wlad lle'r oeddent yn byw eu cynnal o achos eu hanifeiliaid.
7for their substance was more abundant than to dwell together, and the land of their sojournings was not able to bear them because of their cattle;
8 Felly arhosodd Esau, hynny yw Edom, ym mynydd-dir Seir.
8and Esau dwelleth in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
9 Dyma genedlaethau Esau, tad yr Edomiaid ym mynydd-dir Seir.
9And these [are] births of Esau, father of Edom, in mount Seir.
10 Dyma enwau meibion Esau: Eliffas fab Ada gwraig Esau, Reuel fab Basemath gwraig Esau.
10These [are] the names of the sons of Esau: Eliphaz son of Adah, wife of Esau; Reuel son of Bashemath, wife of Esau.
11 A meibion Eliffas oedd Teman, Omar, Seffo, Gatam a Cenas.
11And the sons of Eliphaz are Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz;
12 Yr oedd Timna yn wraig ordderch i Eliffas fab Esau, ac i Eliffas esgorodd ar Amalec. Dyna ddisgynyddion Ada gwraig Esau.
12and Timnath hath been concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, and she beareth to Eliphaz, Amalek; these [are] sons of Adah wife of Esau.
13 Meibion Reuel oedd Nahath, Sera, Samma a Missa. Dyna ddisgynyddion Basemath gwraig Esau.
13And these [are] sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah; these were sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
14 Dyma feibion Oholibama, merch Ana fab Sibeon, gwraig Esau: i Esau esgorodd ar Jeus, Jalam a Cora.
14And these have been the sons of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, wife of Esau; and she beareth to Esau, Jeush and Jaalam and Korah.
15 Dyma benaethiaid disgynyddion Esau: meibion Eliffas, mab hynaf Esau, y penaethiaid Teman, Omar, Seffo, Cenas,
15These [are] chiefs of the sons of Esau: sons of Eliphaz, first-born of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
16 Cora, Gatam ac Amalec. Dyna benaethiaid Eliffas yng ngwlad Edom; meibion Ada oeddent.
16chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek; these [are] chiefs of Eliphaz, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Adah.
17 Yna meibion Reuel fab Esau: y penaethiaid Nahath, Sera, Samma a Missa. Dyna benaethiaid Reuel yng ngwlad Edom; meibion Basemath gwraig Esau oeddent.
17And these [are] sons of Reuel son of Esau: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah; these [are] chiefs of Reuel, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
18 Yna meibion Oholibama gwraig Esau: y penaethiaid Jeus, Jalam a Cora. Dyna'r penaethiaid a anwyd i Oholibama merch Ana, gwraig Esau.
18And these [are] sons of Aholibamah wife of Esau: chief Jeush, chief Jaalam, chief Korah; these [are] chiefs of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, wife of Esau.
19 Dyna ddisgynyddion Esau, hynny yw Edom, a dyna'u penaethiaid.
19These [are] sons of Esau (who [is] Edom), and these their chiefs.
20 Dyma feibion Seir yr Horiad, preswylwyr y wlad: Lotan, Sobal, Sibeon, Ana,
20These [are] sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
21 Dison, Eser a Disan. Dyna benaethiaid yr Horiaid, meibion Seir yng ngwlad Edom.
21and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan; these [are] chiefs of the Horites, sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.
22 Hori a Hemam oedd meibion Lotan, a Timna oedd ei chwaer.
22And the sons of Lotan are Hori and Heman; and a sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
23 Dyma feibion Sobal: Alfan, Manahath, Ebal, Seffo ac Onam.
23And these [are] sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24 Dyma feibion Sibeon: Aia ac Ana. Hwn yw'r Ana a ddaeth o hyd i ddu373?r yn y diffeithwch wrth wylio asynnod ei dad Sibeon.
24And these [are] sons of Zibeon, both Ajah and Anah: it [is] Anah that hath found the Imim in the wilderness, in his feeding the asses of Zibeon his father.
25 Dyma blant Ana: Dison ac Oholibama ferch Ana.
25And these [are] sons of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah.
26 Dyma feibion Dison: Hemdan, Esban, Ithran a Ceran.
26And these [are] sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27 Dyma feibion Eser: Bilhan, Saafan ac Acan.
27These [are] sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
28 Dyma feibion Disan: Us ac Aran.
28These [are] sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29 Dyma benaethiaid yr Horiaid: Lotan, Sobal, Sibeon, Ana,
29These [are] chiefs of the Horite: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,
30 Dison, Eser a Disan. Dyna benaethiaid yr Horiaid yn �l eu tylwythau yng ngwlad Seir.
30chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan: these [are] chiefs of the Horite in reference to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
31 Dyma'r brenhinoedd a fu'n teyrnasu yng ngwlad Edom, cyn i'r Israeliaid gael brenin.
31And these [are] the kings who have reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king over the sons of Israel.
32 Teyrnasodd Bela fab Beor yn Edom, a Dinhaba oedd enw ei ddinas.
32And Bela son of Beor reigneth in Edom, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah;
33 Pan fu farw Bela, teyrnasodd Jobab fab Sera o Bosra yn ei le.
33and Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah;
34 Pan fu farw Jobab, teyrnasodd Husam o wlad y Temaniaid yn ei le.
34and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite.
35 Pan fu farw Husam, teyrnasodd Hadad fab Bedad yn ei le, ac ymosododd ef ar Midian yng ngwlad Moab; Afith oedd enw ei ddinas.
35And Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab), and the name of his city [is] Avith;
36 Pan fu farw Hadad, teyrnasodd Samla o Masreca yn ei le.
36and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah of Masrekah;
37 Pan fu farw Samla, teyrnasodd Saul o Rehoboth-ger-Ewffrates yn ei le.
37and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Saul from Rehoboth of the River;
38 Pan fu farw Saul, teyrnasodd Baal-hanan fab Achbor yn ei le.
38and Saul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-hanan son of Achbor;
39 Pan fu farw Baal-hanan fab Achbor, teyrnasodd Hadar yn ei le; Pau oedd enw ei ddinas. Mehetabel merch Matred, merch Mesahab, oedd enw ei wraig.
39and Baal-hanan son of Achbor dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadar, and the name of his city [is] Pau; and his wife`s name [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab.
40 Dyma enwau penaethiaid Esau, yn �l eu llwythau a'u hardaloedd, wrth eu henwau: Timna, Alfa, Jetheth,
40And these [are] the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
41 Oholibama, Ela, Pinon,
41chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
42 Cenas, Teman, Mibsar,
42chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
43 Magdiel ac Iram. Dyna benaethiaid Edom, hynny yw Esau tad yr Edomiaid, yn �l lle'r oeddent yn byw yn y wlad yr oeddent yn ei meddiannu.
43chief Magdiel, chief Iram: these [are] chiefs of Edom, in reference to their dwellings, in the land of their possession; he [is] Esau father of Edom.
